Guest Reviews
- david (10/5): Location and good advice - I needed help arranging tours. Ricardo explained everything. He made the calls and booked the tours. Extremely helpful
- Leidy (8/5): Nice stay! - The place is very cozy and clean!!!
- Yasna (10/5): Excelente - Muy buena experiencia!
- Kyle (10/5): Great - Comfortable, clean, convenient, courteous
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff is so friendly and helpful. They changed reservations and booked tours for us. They stored our baggage and chilled our wine. The room is clean and comfortable. They make you stay a pleasure.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We were checked in by a very efficient pleasant young man.
Location convenient to bus station.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent customer service. The hotel is only a few blocks from the bus station, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though breakfast is scheduled from 6:30am, they were ready and available at 6am, providing me with plenty of time to eat and catch my bus at 7am.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and convenient location to town. Great pillows
Personale moltooto gentile e preparato.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The young man at reception was really helpful and charming
- Tripulante (10/5): - Overall awesome experience , all staff was amazing answer all question and provided options and suggestions . Made our stay even better . Will definitely recommend this place and will book again if back to the patagonias
- Pandora (8/5): Good - Very good
- Haim (10/5): Highly recommended - We arrived at the hotel at night, without expectations, and after a tiring day of travel. We have found a team that is willing to help, lead and even drive the need. It was fun to see. Despite the language difficulties, we managed to bridge everything. In the end, if in the future we return to the area we will be happy to stay at this hotel. do not miss.
- Michael (10/5): Good place to say in PN - Very nice, reasonably priced, hotel in PN. Clean, spaciest rooms, good management and breakfasts!
- sillyboy (6/5): no alternate - hotels in Puerto Natales are generally overpriced, very basic, uncomfortable in the North America standards. But this one may be your right choice unless you can find better alternates.
- Barak (8/5): - As expected. A bit pricey for what you get but it's high season in Patagonia and they need to make up for the slow winter months. Friendly and helpful staff.
- remi (8/5): Very nice hotel - Nicely and bright common areas
Quite
Close to bus terminal and the center
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location, clean and modern - We really were pleased with our stay at Hotel Hallef. We were glad that it was close to both the bus station and to downtown, so it wasn't far to walk to either one. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly. When we went backpacking for a few days, they kept our bags for us until we returned. Breakfast was included and was sufficient. Continental with eggs upon request. The coffee was much better than we found elsewhere in Patagonia. A bit pricy for Chile but that's Patagonia in the peak season. I would definitely stay here again.
- Herve (8/5): - Nice and clean hotel, a great deal in the « downtown area
- Verified traveler (8/5): - We had a great stay - the walls are pretty thin, so a few noisy neighbors one night was annoying. But otherwise, the stay was great.
- Glen (8/5): Clean hotel in convenient location - The experience overall was good with the exception of being able to access the hotel during the day.
We found on a particularly wet day that our plans were altered and on returning to the hotel that the desk wasn't unoccupied and that the only way we could gain access was knocking on the door until we were let in by the cleaner upstairs. When we went out later we had to get the cleaner to let us out and when we returned we again had to knock until the cleaner heard us.
The breakfast was also very light on as if the hotel was very bottom line drive.
- Simon (8/5): Clean and friendly hotel a bit far away - Well maintained hitel with modern wood vibe.
Great views from some rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic selection but excellent breakfast.
A bit far from centre and restaurants, about 5 blocks. Noisy staircase.
Overall - great value
- Tuan (8/5): Nice and comfortable room - Nice and comfortable room. Hot breakfast is nice. Internet connection is slow but workable. Recommended
- Verified traveler (8/5): Easy, friendly hotel - Easy place to stay before and after we did the W Trek in Torres del Paine. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Reasonable stay - Comfortable room, decent breakfast, slightly impersonal service
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean, great location - Great hostel! More modern than most, large common area and very clean. Beds were comfy, shower was big and worked very well. It's an 8 minute walk to the bus terminal, so that was extremely convenient. Wifi worked well and the breakfast was really good! They even brought us scrambled eggs.
- Alejandro (8/5): - Great basic stay, clean, though a little bug spray smelly.
- Barry (8/5): Quite good value hotel - Helpful staff but no English at reception.
- Silvia (8/5): Very good value - Very affordable, comfortable and clean hotel to stay in Puerto Natales. We only stayed one night but could have easily stayed longer.
Decent breakfast and wi-fi. Great desk service. We got prompt help when we asked if it was possible to print our Sky Airline boarding passes.
- Rebekah (10/5): Great value for money - This cosy hotel is only a short walk from the bus station. The staff are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me. The room was very nice with a surprisingly comfortable bed and pillows. Good heating and a great view. The room was clean and I was very impressed for what is labelled a three star hotel.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Okay value - Good breakfast. They also serve scrambled eggs if you ask. The heat in the hotel was too hot on the first day and didn't exist on the second day so my room was cold. Okay location.
- Andrew (8/5): - Nice hotel, friendly and helpful owner. However, 3rd floor shower water pressure is weak.
- Daniel (6/5): Mediocre. - difficult time to communicate issues due to non-English speaking staff. Hotel gave us the wrong bed. Overall, not bad, but with a lot of options out there, I would try something else.
- Ming (10/5): Good location, helpful clerks, clean facility - The clerk was very courteous to help purchase bus tickets for us to Torres del Paine and back to Punta Arenas, before we had arrived. This made our trip a lot easier for connecting to the next leg which we could not afford to miss. They even helped us make a reservation at a restaurant. The place is clean and quiet, food is good, and not to far away from downtown, or the bus station.
- Matt (10/5): Great hotel with extremely helpful staff! - Stayed at Hotel Hallef two nights while in Puerto Natales, and I would highly recommend not only the hotel but its staff, especially Ignacio. We arrived after LAN managed to lose one of our backpacks with all the camping gear we had planned to use on three-day W trek. Ignacio was not there the night we arrived, but the new clerk was very friendly and even leant me his jacket (off his back) so I wouldn't freeze on my way to dinner. The next day, Ignacio helped call LAN to inquire about baggage, provided us with suggestions on where to get rental camping gear, and was in general over the top friendly and supportive. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone coming through Puerto Natales - was clean, breakfast was tasty if simple, and staff was amazing. Price was reasonable, and there were no negative surprises I can remember! Great place for reasonable cost!
- hendra (10/5): Best service with best location - We stay at this hotel on January 5, 2016. The owner and all staff give their best service for the customer. The wifi is fast. Clean room with beautiful scenery ( we used room no 301 ). Breakfast is good. We give this hotel five star at all aspect. Thank you for the service, especially for Ignatio and friends.
- Not Provided (8/5): Parsons in chilli - Really clean hotel and a nice place to stay
- Not Provided (10/5): Parsons do south america - Great hotel would recommend
- rami (8/5): lovely hotel - overall very good hote. sxcept one thing that there is no elevator.
- Helen (10/5): Comfortable new hotel - This new hotel stands out next to the rundown and grim looking corrugated houses which line the road. A 10 minute walk away from the central bus station, it’s a block or two from the centre of town so very well located. Within walking distance (two blocks either side) are the bus stations of two companies that take you on long distance trips. The hotel being new has quality bed and bed linen. Lovely bathrooms which are let down by the dubious workmanship – those askew hooks will make you wonder who checked the contractors work. There was plenty of places to put suitcases, and hanging space for clothes. Reasonable breakfast despite the lack of real coffee or choice of teas, but the freshly made omelettes made up for that. Noise insulation was minimal so be prepared to hear everything through the walls. Recommend you don’t buy your tours through them as the hotel adds an extra 25 per cent onto the price. Wait till you get there and book direct with the tour company – they are open till late.
- Susan (10/5): Good hotel for anyone enjoying Patagonia! - The staff is eager to help in any way. The hotel is spotless, rooms are comfortable, breakfast was very satisfying and the location was fine. I felt that it was a good value and would stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The rooms were very nice and the building was much newer and nicer then most of the other hotels/hostels we saw in the area. There were comfy beds, lush towels, very clean rooms, etc. The breakfast was quite good as well and had a lot of variety as well as eggs made fresh when you saw down. The manager was very nice and helped us with some booking problems we had for our trip to the national park. One of the reception women at the hotel spoke much better English then any other hotel receptionist we encountered in Chile and was also very helpful. We briefly lost the hot water at one point but otherwise it was a great place to stay. It was also much more convenient to the town center then other hostels in the area which was very useful. There is free wifi too. The signal wasn't super strong on the top floor but worked fine. From what I saw while in Puerto Natales this is probably one of the best places to stay in the area.
- Marion (10/5): great experience - We stayed at this small and comfy B&B for a couple of nights on our way to and from Torres del Paine and had a great experience. It's a pretty new property (you can still smell the paint) and the owners went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.
