The BbQ was a charcoal kettle bbq which we did not know how to use. It took forever to heat so we gave up on the idea of a bbq.
We had asked for an early check in however got message a few hours before to say place was not going to be ready till 4.30pm... the cleaners were there when we arrived and were still cleaning.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Enjoyed this beautiful spot with views all the way to the ocean. Great sunrise worth getting up for! - Amazing views. Lovely outdoor fire pit. Well stocked pantry. Great indoor and outdoor dining options. The upstairs bathroom had no screen so the floor got wet each time we had a shower. Extra bath mats would have helped. Driveway bit tricky to get in and out of due to steepness and gravel. Road a little noisy at night but day time views more than make up for it!
- Jude (8/5): Comfortable and spacious, outside deck was great with a comfortable lounge area - Comfortable and spacious with good aspect out east to Byron Lighthouse Driveway requires concentration and caution as cars travel at 80klm on the road and the driveway is literally on the road!
You also need to have a 4WD to get down the driveway.
The TV didn't work, and the agent was not able to take the lead on supporting us to rectify this which was disappointing.
Only 1 tea towel provided which sounds petty, but the dishwasher had no wheels on the bottom tray so was not usable.
BBQ was charcoal, no charcoal or fire starters provided
