- Martina (9/5): - The cute little cottages, the wonderful location. The outdoor area was decorated with so many lovely details—lamps and little figurines along the path leading to the cottages. The dock is great; it’s a fantastic spot to relax by the water in the evening. We really loved it here, and the hikes were so exciting 😂 I can't say anything negative. The only thing that wasn't very practical for us was the fixed showerhead. A removable showerhead would have been better for us. But that's just nitpicking 😉

Shower floor was squishy, not sure if it is supposed to be? Would have been nice if paper towel or tin foil available for use during cooking

- Rachel (10/5): Beautiful location, nice stay - Cute property with lovely views. Well-equipped kitchen overall. The social areas with pool table, bbqs etc were great. Beware that the beds in the cabins are up very steep stairs (practically a ladder) so I would not recommend them if you have youngish children or anyone with mobility or balance issues. The kayaks and paddle boards on site were nice, but the rental fee for them seemed unnecessary considering the nightly cost. We tried to open the doors to help cool down upstairs a bit too early in the afternoon and a hornet got in.

- Nesreen (7/5): Beautiful, private and serene. - Beautiful location. Really appreciated the dog bowl and the extra blankets. Appreciated checking in early to an already toasty suite and the self check in was really accessible. I thought the room could benefit from a broom or some other cleaning supplies to tidy. I’d suggest removing the language of “we will know if…” you don’t do x y or z from the handbook. It’s not welcoming makes the guest feel surveilled. There were also several bugs in the unit mosquitoes and a another little beetle bug. With such a great emphasis on the guest maintaining the space perhaps offering some pest control or doing additional checks for pests would be good. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work and there was no ventilation in the kitchen.

Die Ausstattung war sehr spärlich, die Möbel u.E. eher wenig geschmackvoll zusammen gestellt. Da wir relativ hohe Temperaturen für die Jahreszeit hatten, war es sehr schwierig eine erträgliche Temperatur in dem kleinen Apartment zu schaffen. Leider war nur an einem der Seitenfenster ein Fliegengitter angebracht ... an der Terrassentür (Eingang) leider auch nicht. Die Bewohner über uns konnten wir auf Schritt und Tritt " verfolgen " ... s e h r hellhörig.

Family of river otters visited daily Might need a new patio door. There kid no screen and the patio door itself is very hard to move and noisy to open and close.
- Gary (4/5): Not happy - The location is great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Thought we were getting a room with a loft and large windows looking at the ocean. Instead we got a smelly basement suite with a partial ocean view. Bathroom shower is so small you can't bend over in it. When guests are above all you hear is thump thump.

Our family trip to quadra island was made even more memorable by the h - Access to dock and kayaks; location by the bay made it easy for water sports with the family; common bbq by the water; quint; loved watching the beautiful sunset and the wildlife with other guests. Steep stairs in the cabins would be hard for people with mobility issues.

Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eimgerichtet und die beiden Gastgeberinnen sind sehr herzlich. Absolut zu empfehlen! nix.

- Stuart (10/5): Exceptional - I absolutely loved Jade resorts. It's how I imagined Canada would be. We were surrounded by wildlife (Otters, eagles, seals and more). The accommodation was spacious, clean & well equipped. They have about 5 different gas BBQS and that was great. We were recommended a day trip to see whales and Bears by the host and that was amazing. It's close to 2 supermarkets that have everything you could want. We will definitely be coming back but this time for longer Nothing

If you wore just socks you could easily slip on them. You really had to use the handrails. We limited what we took upstairs and just kept our travel bags downstairs.

The baseboard heaters kept the room nice and warm. But the bathroom floor was cold. Not really a problem though, as we just left a towel on the floor.

- Benjamin (10/5): Lovely Host, Wonderful Location, amazing view, directly in the nature - The wonderful location, the amazing view directly from the suite and the lovely hosts are the best things :) The suites are big enough for two people, the kitchen has all you need, the bed was Very comfortable and the bathroom very clean and has anything u need. We borrowed two kayaks and it was so wonderful and calm. You can see porpoises, seals and otter directly from your window. The story of the sunken house is interesting and it doesn’t make the view any worse. We are so sorry we just stayed 2 nights and if we ever come back to Quadra this will be our spot. The only thing that can be not so easy for some people is the fact that you maybe have to carry your luggage a few meters, but from my point of view this can always happen when you travel and you be able to do that :)

There is a lot of opportunity to see wildlife in the water and easily explore the rest of the island by bike or car. It is a quiet setting if you are looking for a place to relax, but kayaks and paddle boards are available to rent if you want to do something more active.

Full functioning kitchen as well as no TV( which was good as we get to spend time more in the nature) Lots of Otters everywhere, they come out on the dock early in the morning. People staying in other units were also very friendly. We brought our own paddleboards and went to little islands around. Staff was friendly and was available if any help was required. Check again with the staff if staying in the front units or not. We were in the back units, so we didn’t see water from our windows. It didn’t quite bother us much as we just had to step out to see the water. But for people expecting views right from the window then double check with the staff about the units.

The owners are an absolutely fabulous couple who seem to have cracked the recipe for being the perfect hosts. I didn't like the fact that I had to return to reality & I hadn't booked for longer.

We wish we could have stayed longer - it's one of the most peaceful places I have ever stayed in. Nothing! It was all perfect.
- Bayes (9/5): Superb - We had a great stay. Everything was good. We loved the view, a lot of seating and BBQ areas, the beds were very comfy and we are coming back. The only thing we didn't like were the stairs inside because of a toddler and getting older, but it wasn't a huge issue.

- Yin (3/5): We feel unsafe and insulted by staying with this place - I like the location and the waterfront resort setup I don’t like the Facility Team intentionally treating clients from booking badly, from unit assignment to reluctance and delayed customer support . Attached is the email that I sent to the facility team: Hi Caroline & Holly, We hoped our stay with Jade would be as perfect as others per the reviews online, but two things happened ruined our stay: Firstly the party girls in unit 4 are loud and disrespectful and always using the hallway in front of our unit. One girl even came to our unit looking for her friend, obviously she was drunk. This is unacceptable and we are in vacation and do not want to handle drama and drunk people. Secondly the fact that the sunken house in front of our unit should be communicated to us when we book with you guys, not a surprise to greet to us when we arrived. I am highly concerned if this leads into a false sale. I hope to see your response as soon as possible. Thanks, Yin

- Gabriela (10/5): Stunning location and uncomplicated stay - Very scenic location and beautifully styled suites/apartments, you can see somebody has put thought into the place. Kitchen was well equipped with all the basics you need (plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, coffee machine etc.), everything was spotlessly clean. Self check-in worked perfectly well. Hope to come back soon! Well yes, there is a sunken boathouse right in front of the Resort, but a) it's home to an adorable otter family, b) it won't be there forever and c) it's actually a unique sight to see and I would book a stay before it's gone.
- Nicole (9/5): Lovely apartment with a fantastic view - The location is excellent, very quiet and close to the water (we saw bald eagles and otters!). The apartment (especially the kitchen) is very well equipped. The hosts were outstanding. The stairs to the upper floor are quite steep, you have to be careful.

Central location, close to friends we visited. Quiet, only patrons first night. Sunk building, lack of parking, steep grade to parking. No locks or security on windows. Toaster was broken. Bar stools would be a good addition to bar/deck rail which impedes view when sitting in deck chairs.

The apartment has all what you need for a few days stay. The apartment was super clean and comfy. Nice place to be - we will come back one day.

The moment we got to Jade Resort, it was just stunning, then getting our rooms being so clean, and the beds were so comfortable. sitting on the deck eating our breakfast watching the otters on the docks felt like heavan, an absolute bonus to the trip. We can't wait to stay there again! There was nothing about this trip that we didn't like. everything was perfection
