Abby (3/5): It’s was an okay stay but not convenient/ satisfied - Communication from host leading up to stay. Very clear instructions and room is up to date/ modern. There was a toaster and other appliances (but didn’t use/wasn’t needed during our stay) The shower is very small and the shampoo and shower gel was empty and not topped up. We had the hair dryer plugged in and when we plugged the heater in to dry our wet shoes. we had a power cut not that it should matter if you have 2 things plugged in or 10…. It caused us major stress and couldn’t get the power back for good few hours and it was getting dark outside. We tried to call/ email the host and didn’t get any response until 9:30AM the next morning. To get to the main circuit box it’s down a dark alley way which is scary/ felt unsafe at night. Some of the cutlery wasn’t clean and had looked like they hadn’t been washed and only one light was working in the bathroom. AC was very loud and was keeping us awake/ waking us up in the night due to loud banging noise. We booked this due to the reviews which we’re slightly disappointed by as it’s not what was stated. and the location is okay but not the best location it’s about 10/15 min walk to Milano central station and 50 minutes walk into the centre where the cathedral and everything is.
