- Azra (10/5): Idyllic, peaceful and beautiful - one of the most amazing hotels we’ve ever stayed in! - Even better than the photos - it felt like a dream! Everything was immaculate and beautifully designed - the staff were incredible and the food was delightful, everything fresh from the garden! We couldn’t recommend more highly. All the little touches and friendly, knowledgeable staff made our stay one of the most memorable and enjoyable vacations we have ever had. There was nothing we didn’t like!
- Oscar (10/5): Hidden gem - The Cabanas are very beautiful and secluded. Waking up with birds and falling asleep with sound of a waterfall. It has White Lotus vibes 100%. From the concierge welcome with drink to staff knowing your name and perfect timing if housekeeping. They always left some trays in the room with evening candles. Tons of activities around available. We did horseback riding to sunset but they have free birdwatching, river tubing and others. Special anniversary dinner we asked them to plan was romantic and beautiful. The three restaurants on grounds are farm to table and provide incredible variety.
- Sarah (10/5): - It is very well kept and clean. It is a beautiful location and very relaxing. The staff are very attentive and helpful.
- Nicole (10/5): - The location is very unique and gorgeous, lots of stairs to be mindful of and the rooms are quaint - no AC, gets colder at night. Gives a very remote hut feel with hotel amenities. Would have liked better food options because it is so remote you have to eat on property. The food was great but is misleading that there are 3 restaurants but 2 only operate once a week.
- Yan (10/5): Best place I ever stayed with amazing staff. Absolutely spoiled. - The property is amazing! Perfect location tucked into the jungle with all the modern luxuries. Nothing
- Samantha (10/5): Amazing… spend extra stay here…. You will not regret it. - Amazing…. Relaxing. The staff amazing the food good. The way in which the hotel is ran is superb. Whether it’s transport to and from airport the tours etc it truly has been magical.. the best ran hotel we have have ever stayed in. The attention to detail was super. We will come back. I have to say be completely honest Belize it’s self is ok. But this hotel made our entire trip. I will go back just for this. Any other place in Belize no chance . It’s a little expensive however you get what you pay for and more truly super place I cannot fault at all. Nothing… I was worried with a fear of spiders etc being in a log cabin we would have lots however the cabins are so well made with mesh etc nothing.. slept the best we have ever slept.

- Deepak (4/5): Not bad due to the natural beauty of the surroundings but in my opinion not worth a Revisit - Staff were polite & helpful, also prompt The food! Except for Breakfast the food was almost inedible. Meats including chicken were tough & dry
- manella (7/5): - Vår river casita var mycket fin. Hade trott att lodgen låg i mer grönska!

- Alix (10/5): Idyllique, foncez-y !

- Ani (10/5): You Need To See This Place - One of the best places I have ever stayed. The hotel is in a great location with lots of opportunities to hike, bike, swim... They have an organic garden with veggies and fruits. The staff is friendly and willing to help with any questions that you might have. There was a remodeling in one of the cabins and the smell of the paint was all over the place
- Tracey (6/5): I will not recommend:( - The Villas were very small! Walk ways slippery, long and rocky. Bathrooms were small & old. Pool was old. Tours were nice but over priced. Food was very good. Staff was nice. see above
- Giuseppina (9/5): Fantastic experience - Beautiful Lodge in an amazing location. Great food, the staff is extremely kind and helpful.
- Hysler (10/5): Exceptional -

- John (9/5): Perfect - So remote in the middle of a jungle Nothing
- Rodica (10/5): Absolutely lovely and peaceful! - We had a lovely stay at Blancaneux! The amenities were great, service was top notch and the property was peaceful and absolutely lovely! We expected a great stay but everything was above expectations. We would always choose Blancaneux if our travels take us back to this area!
- Sutter (10/5): Beautiful rainforest luxury escape - Stunning lodge in the middle of the rainforest. Staff service was impeccable. Everything thoughtfully arranged. Food prices were $$
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Annija (10/5): Perfect place for a quiet hideaway - The staff knows what you need even before you need it! Absolutely fantastic. This was one of our best experiences with truly professional and attentive staff.
Property is gorgeous and does not feel crowded evenn at full capacity. The perfect place if you are looking for a quiet hideaway in the jungle.
- Nancy (10/5): Exceptional - The area was very nice. I especially enjoyed the bird watching - the guides were very knowledgeable. The service was top notch! We didn't realize there wasn't any air conditioning. We came in May when the temperature was between 31 to 39 celsius (88 to 102 degrees fahrenheit). It was a little uncomfortable for us.
- Carola (8/5): Very good - Nice location Slightly outdated, especially bathroom

- Marisa (10/5): beautiful and we will be back again! - everything! so beautiful the villas, well decorated and clean! wish they had ATV to get to Rock Falls or other mode of transportation as we had short stay and could not go on bike ride (1 1/2 hrs ) we didn’t have time for.
- Jacquie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rhonda (10/5): Beautiful location, amazing staff, excellent food and drink, multiple activities to choose from! Loved it so much! - Beautiful, secluded location Nothing!
- Marie (9/5): Superb - The setting, facilities and kitchen are amazing! The staff is super attentive and caring. We loved our stay. We would have appreciated a broader soft drinks menu including freshly blended juices mix (both fruits and vegetables) from the garden. Coffee is below average and tea is not that finest either.
- Arthur (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samantha (10/5): The experience was amazing. - Everything was amazing from the beginning to the end. The staff are friendly and helpful. The lodge is detailed in every way making the stay the ultimate experience. This hotel is very special and is an absolute destination for couples, families, and even singles who want to enjoy. The food at all the restaurants is superb. I will definitely be visiting again. I want to visit every Coppola hotel. Nothing. It was all amazing.

- Von (3/5): Poor - First of all, the worst accommodation on our round trip!
The best was the friendly lady who picked us up from the parking lot.
Then we were informed in a very incomprehensible commanding English by a young lady about the resort. In advance we ordered something to drink from her. (The outside temperature 38°C / 100°F). After a few minutes we asked where the drinks were, as an answer: are on the way. After further monotonous lectures, which we almost did not understand, we asked again for our drinks. The answer. Sin on the way!
When your lecture finally ended, we should go to room (bungalow), again we asked for our drinks, now the answer: what would you like to order!!!! (Impudent, here not the guest but the receptionist is king) Arrived in the bungalow, 29°C / 85°F room temperature and no air conditioning and that at a 5 star resort! We hoped for a cold cola from the minibar, unfortunately there was only a sugared version. Ok, we just drink a wine, but there was also only from cans, disgusting).
So off to the pool. Covers for the sunbeds or towels were not available here! Only the next day after our request. Ok, change and into the restaurant (Italian) where we ordered a ceviche, we then got a vegetable-like ceviche with insert, quite terrible!
Now we could only look forward to our departure!
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christoph (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful staff and gorgeous location.

- Merlin (10/5): everything was amazing I will definitely be coming back! stayed at three different places and this was by far the best o - absolutely amazing the staff in incredible they give you royalty treat!
- Fiona (8/5): Very good - beautiful setting and decoration food a bit overpriced for the quality
- Timothy (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing. The staff was wonderful, the food above and beyond my expectations.
the Price off the charts worth every penny!
In conclusion we went to 3 different resorts during our stay, and this was by far our favorite. Having to leave!
Not having more time.
Wanted to take the tour guide home with us!
- Charlie (10/5): beautiful, relaxing and welcoming - the natural organic farm, the beautiful river and nature surrounding it - most of all the welcoming and friendly staff, the guests and the food, the spa and activities they offer
it was a beautiful setting
- Jessica (9/5): Superb -
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional - Its beautiful, the staff are amazing, the tours are fantastic, The garden dinner tour and meal was wonderful.
- Les_go (10/5): Luxury splurge - Beautiful, well maintained property. Everything you need is at your fingertips. While there was plenty of room for a queen bed in our cabana, we were confined to a double bed.
- Daveandjenaz (10/5): Beauty in the jungle - Our stay at Blancaneaux was one of, if not the, highlight of our trip. The remote location offering peace and quiet was perfect. The staff was exceptional. Some of the best service we've ever experienced. The staff was aware of iur dietary restrictions and were amazingly hwlpful at mealtimes. Speaking of food, everything we enjoyed was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional Belizean meal we had one evening. The property was just splendid. Everyone was welcoming, helpful, kind, and quick to share stories, travel tips, and local history with us. We met some amazing people along the way and can't wait to go back someday!
- Nicole (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lavinia (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing location.. amazing views.. amazing people! We loved everything about our stay!
The staff were very helpful and supportive with advice on activities to be done; we rented bikes and did a tour to the waterfall.
Would definitely recommend the hike, breakfast in the room (which is foc), a visit to the Guatemalan restaurant <3 and the hot pool! Not really a major problem, but the menu in the main restaurant could be more a bit diverse, we felt that the focus was too much on pizza and pasta.
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jacques (9/5): Everything was perfect! - Blancaneaux lodge is the perfect hideaway in the back country of Belize. The hotel is beautiful. We do recommend the villas overlooking the river. The staff is extremely professional and friendly.
Perfect location for hiking visiting Tikal or ATM cave.
This was our second stay and liked the place just as much as 10 years ago! Nothing.
Perhaps the dinner menu could be slitghly better but daily specials are usually excellent.
- Brian (9/5): Superb -
