The whole estate is amazing, just like the photos, swimming pools, palm trees, everything you want on a Caribbean vacation. The flat itself is also very nice, spacious, clean and has everything you would need, for a very friendly price. It’s about 10 minutes walk from the beach, which we knew about and didn’t mind. I wish we had more time to enjoy the facilities.

A media cuadra tenes un mini Market, a tres uno más grande , y la playa pública dominicus a 5 cuadras , de todas las playas públicas la que más me gustó es dominicus. Super recomendable !! I found myself in a very unpleasant situation in the Dominican Republic.  We are talking about Apartment in (Estrella, Dominicus-Bayahibe.Avenida La Laguna Alula 102,23000) Booked this apartment for the weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday.  When the reservation was made, there was no talk of paying in cash. In the evening we were going to a restaurant to celebrate her birthday, the owner of this very apartment showed up and asked the payment be made in cash in pessos, for which we were not ready.  I went through 3 different ATMs, and not one of them had the required amount; besides, the card was charged $5(usd) +15% from each transaction.  I came back to talk to the owner of the apartment, if there is another solution to pay the booking, he said I have to go to the neighboring city, there will definitely be cash there, which I did, it took about 3 hours.   As a result, we paid the full amount in cash. We were late for the restaurant, and our reservation was canceled. The mood was spoiled, my wife was in tears, and for all the cash withdrawal fees, I spent $92 usd.  This was very insulting and disrespectful from the owner of this apartment. • Arina (9/5): Superb - the property is very quiet and calm, close to the beach (10-15 min walk). all the facilities are modern. the interior of the apartment did not disappoint as well. it would be great if the property offered the umbrellas near the pool, and if the pool would be cleaned more often from the leaves and insects such as wasps and flies that fall there regularly
