Guest Reviews

- Sambo (6/5): Neutral feeling - The location was accessible to a lot of amenities. Electricity went off for hours because it ran out. The kitchen utensils had oil.

- mkhabela (6/5): - It was clean and there was a welcoming shot We were forced to sleep in the dark after their globe randomly popped out and broke. Despite reporting the issue, no one attended to it until the following day around 1pm. This delay was both frustrating and unacceptable.
- Tebogo (10/5): The dainty apartment - The ambience. It’s a great place to relax right next to Sandton city and I loved that the host made the place as comfortable as possible with all the necessary kitchen and bathroom utensils. Love the check out time too as it enabled one to sleep in. I’m not sure if this is a booking.com problem or the host but I feel the breakdown of the extra costs must be clearly stated so one knows what they are paying and to decide if they would like to proceed. The breakdown came after I had paid making the apartment a little pricey especially as I thought the extra costs were already embedded in the total cost.
- Enos (10/5): -
- Chike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Segaole (9/5): Superb -
- Darren (1/5): Very poor - Location, north facing. No/very slow assistance as the property was not ready: No soap, no water, inadequate toilet paper, no coffee, sliding door and TV wouldn't work. Had to check out on the third day of a five day stay and go elsewhere, and they are refusing a partial refund.
- Enos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (7/5): Generally very good apart from the electricity problem which could have been avoided. - Excellent location. Spacious and comfortable. Problems with electricity (lack of adequate prepayment).

Time flies so fast when you're here 😢
- Robertsimon (1/5): This Might Work For You - It Didnt Work For Us! - The property is "pet friendly" and has a balcony and a dedicated off street parking space. The agent has the place on all the big platforms - even YouTube - and the social media presence is really compelling - then the disappointment sets in - This isn't the "Relax Inn" brand or flag. It is nothing at all like the brand. What a mistake I made! The mistake was mine - I thought this was part of the "Relax Inn" brand and chain like the one in Ballito, KZN that is so nice. Instead, I was fooled by the social media. This is just an updated apartment in a run-down complex named the "St.Tropez" just off West Street in Sandton. Use the address to find it. You can't find it on Google using the name of the rental. There are no amenities (the pool is green, the gym is defunct, there are no lawn chairs). The complex has three battered cars on flat tires, rotting doors on common area access, and not 10 squares of grass anywhere. The promised "reception" was the gate guard (nice guys whom I fed since they looked miserable in the shack). Credit to the agent - the unit was clean enough to not to have me bail out. But - the shower floor is covered in black mold. The vanity has lots of water damage. One of the cabinet doors came off in my hands. The dishes and cabinet handles were filthy. Ants all over the place. The hot water was off when I arrived and I had to wait for day two before getting word from the agent to flip the breaker (check the closet next time). The power meter was on "low" even after I added more at the direction of the agent so we used everything sparingly. The balcony had thrift store battered furniture, a laundry rack and a mop waiting for you (so nice!). The make-shift BBQ had no gear if you braved to use it. The whole complex looked like the "Mad Max" set designer was in for the day. Pot smoke wafted from someplace, and at night the place had the "creepy and lonely - abandoned feel" to it - I wouldn't want my mother to stay here alone. We stayed two nights then moved on. The MINT Hotel is right across the back wall and so much more inviting. It was a mistake to book this place - I did not look closely at the media and thought this was the real brand - not the knock-off it is.
- Gabrielle (10/5): Exceptional - Roomy, comfortable bed, nice couch to relax, close to the train from the airport. The space was so much better than a hotel room. The water in the shower was a bit colder than we preferred, but manageable.
- Mike (8/5): Good central option - Great location and nice place - well equipped
- Krugel (8/5): Very good - Very well equiped with lots of small facilities for extra convenience. Zero noise although there are permanent residents. Covered parking at the unit itself. Very well situated.
- Smit (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment, very clean and has everything you need.
The host made us feel welcome and was helpful.
Quick and easy check in and out.
- Gill (10/5): Exceptional -

- Leso (10/5): Loved it - What I loved about the stay was: the location was very convenient, close to everything. The host is very friendly. My partner and I enjoyed our romantic getaway. NOTHING , I love everything single thing about the property
- Ngeleza (7/5): I was physically assaulted by the neighbour for assumed noise. Security didn’t assist either. Time of the assault was 8p - The silence and easy access into the complex Racist and violent neighbour.
- Molise (8/5): Very good -
- Smart (8/5): Very good -
- Nomakha (10/5): Overall clean place with a great host - Location was very convenient, close to sandton city and gautrain station The carpet lounge was a bit dirty

- Norman (8/5): Very reasonably priced, comfortably furnished, well located accommodation. - Host is very pleasant, easily accessible and responsive to queries. Satellite TV system was fiddly to navigate. I would have much preferred regular DSTV.
