La piscina muy bonita, con muchas sillas en el área y además en la playa, la ubicación inmejorable. La cama de la habitación muy cómoda y la cocina equipada. Muchísimas gracias.

• Karin (8/5): Tolle Lage direkt an einem wunderschönen Strand - Das Beste an dieser Unterkunft ist die Lage direkt am Playa Hermosa. Der Strand ist großartig. Sehr lang, mit ganz feinem, tiefschwarzem Sand und beeindruckenden Wellen. Im Hintergrund von Palmen und tropischer Vegetation gesäumt. Nicht weit entfernt gibt es eine Stelle, an jeden Nachmittag sehr viele Aras zu beobachten sind (Google Maps: "Parrot Place"). Außerdem große Echsen, Fregattvögel und viele weitere Tiere. In direkter Nähe gibt es mehrere Strandbars und Restaurants. Das Apartment ist schlicht, aber sauber und schön eingerichtet. Es stand Kaffee für die Kaffeemaschine bereit. Der Garten mit dem Pool ist gut gepflegt und sauber, hat schöne Liegen und bietet Raum zum chillen. Für den schlichten Standard fanden wir die Unterkunft recht teuer. Aber die Lage und der Strand sind wirklich toll.

• Emma (8/5): Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und würden wieder kommen - Die Lage ist top! Es ist auch öffentlich gut erreichbar oder mit dem uber oder Taxi. Die Angestellten waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit/hilfreich. Es bietet eine gute Mischung zwischen Entspannung und trotzdem im geschehen sein. Bei uns im Bad ist die Toilette „ausgelaufen“. Es hat unangenehm gerochen, aber nicht gestört.
• Marcela (7/5): - The location was very nice, right on the beach. Poor cleanliness and maintenance. The refrigerator and dishes were so filthy that we had to clean them ourselves before use. When we complained, the cleaning lady made it even worse by using a dirty rag and a questionable liquid. The furniture is extremely outdated and the room is dark, as the tiny windows provide almost no natural light.

• Manuela (6/5): Preis-/ Leistungsverhältnis für uns nicht angemessen - Super war die Lage direkt am Strand. Nebenan waren 2 nette Restaurants. Die Eigentümerin war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine kleine Wohnung mit 2 Schlafzimmern, die zur Straße lagen. Der Lärm der Straße war extrem. Das war vor allem Nachts störend, selbst mit Ohrschutz konnte man die Fahrzeuge ( Autos, Motorräder,LKWs ) hören. Generell sehr hellhörige Unterkunft. Auch die Einrichtung war etwas veraltet, besonders im Bad, welches auch sehr klein war. Im Wohnraum gab es nur einen Ventilator, keine Klimaanlage. Für 900$ ohne Frühstück für 4 Tage erwarte ich etwas anderes.

Owner was really approachable and friendly , easy handover of the keys, etc. Area was extremely loudy, pool was dirty , there were some bats living in the roof so at night you could hear them. The handrails for the second floor have moving parts so you gotta be careful.

• Richard (10/5): Ola Bonita is the perfect cozy spot on the beach for friends on a surf trip or a family wanting to enjoy the beach. - Cozy rooms, perfect location right on the beach, kitchenette for cooking, nice pool, lovely and helpful staff.
• Christina (7/5): - Der Strand ist wunderschön! Tagsüber kann man die Zeit dort wirklich genießen und Surfer beobachten. Bei uns schwammen sogar Delfine vorbei. Der Pool ist schön angelegt. Bei uns war jeden Tag Reinigungspersonal anwesend, die auch gefragt haben, ob wir neue Handtücher brauchen. Die Zimmer haben keine wirklichen Fenster. Was auf den Bildern der größeren Appartements hell wirkt sind quasi Holzwände zum öffnen - dann ist der Raum aber wirklich für alle komplett offen. Dadurch ist es auch extrem hellhörig. Die Straße ist wirklich laut, mit vielen LKWs auch in der Nacht, die Bars/Restaurants hört man zusätzlich.

• Brian (10/5): Wonderful stay in Playa Hermosillo - We stayed in the top floor ocean view apartment. We had a great view of the ocean and could hear the waves crashing. The apartment and the building were very clean. The owner was very nice and the maid Maria did a great job keeping our room and the whole complex in great shape. Two good restaurants on each side of the building, so no need to drive for meals. Very long sandy beach, great for watching surfers and the sunsets.
• Kristen (10/5): Amazing Beach Stay - We really enjoyed our two nights at Ola Bonita. Playa Hermosa is beautiful and it was awesome to be right on the beach. The pool was fantastic and we loved the hammocks on the beach just outside of the hotel. The AC in the rooms worked well (thank goodness!) We loved watching the local surf competition on Saturday (it starts at around 4pm every Saturday right in front of the hotel). And it was super convenient to have restaurants on either side which let us get food and drinks easily. We would absolutely stay here again! The hotel is right off of the main highway (we were in the room closest to the road) and so we heard some traffic at night, which was loud enough to wake some of us up. The pool chairs could handle being replaced, some of them were a bit broken and quite old. On the Saturday and Sunday night the restaurant on the right hand side of the hotel played loud music until about 10 or 11pm. We didn't mind too much, but if you're looking for a very quiet retreat you may want to be farther down the beach.

• France (8/5): - The place is located right in front of the beach and the pool is clean and and the property is well maintain. There is a bar/restaurant right beside that plays lound music during the weekend.
• Eric (6/5): It's worth it, but people need to know about the closeness of the bar with loud music. - The location is nice, with a private pool and with the beach front, it's very pleasant with not many resident to share this nice place, it feels private. The instructions to get there and get the key were clear and simple, the owner was very nice. The dishes (glasses, ustensiles, etc) were dirty, we had to clean almost everything. Also there was a few things missing that would be useful in a the provided kitchen, such as a toaster and microwave. It is not stated anywhere, but people should know that while the location is nice with a pool and the beach, it's very close to a bar with very loud music. Last thing, : while it is publicize that there is a double-bed couch, it is not comfortable at all, certainly not for 2 people, and it has no air donditioning in the main area (only in the 2 closed rooms). Finally while chairs are provided facing the beach, many of them are broken.

• Justin (10/5): Perfecto!! - This place is awesome if you’re looking for low key with not a lot of people. Few restaurants and bars close. Not overcrowded with your buses and tourists. It’s perfect if you wanna just hang out low key and have a few drinks but not party hard. Nice little beach to hang out at. Everything is with in walking distance. Store, bar restaurants bar staff is cool and has dancing right next door. Kinda checked myself in. I had problems figuring out how to get into my room. It was late at night when I booked. Owner answered the phone and got my key and the owner was going to help me out after hours but I figured it out so she didn’t have to with her help over the phone. Great price since jaco is expensive for average people vacationing. Not everyone from the states is rich and can afford the tourist price. This place is perfect!!!!!! Plus it’s small not a lot of rooms so you won’t be over crowded with people. Private beach. There was nothing I didn’t like. This was perfect for what I was looking for. Jaco short drive away if you wanna go do that but not stay there.

So nice and helpful, she even had lunch with me at Koko in Jaco, best poke I’ve ever had! Great location, great room with kitchen, A/C and super cold freezer! Her husband and son super nice too, highly recommended, would stay here again! Nothing

• Mikayla (8/5): Amazing comfortable - The location was perfectly set in the town of Playa Hermosa. We felt like we were in our own little bungalow. Great restaurants within 1-5 minute walk. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Johanna, our host, was very attentive and helpful. If we had a need or issue, it was met or resolved quickly. You have resident macaws and iguanas to greet you throughout the day. The sound of the waves will clear your mind. Being able to wake up and watch the local surfers with breakfast was incredible. As well as watch them with dinner. Beautiful beach and surroundings. Property is very well kept and feels like a home away from home. You will definitely enjoy your time at this location! Needing to ask for a change of bedding and towels. This could have been a cultural difference. However, when I needed anything, they responded and resolved the need promptly.
• Caroline (10/5): Wonderful stay in Playa Hermosa de Jaco! - Had a wonderful stay here! The property is beautiful and tranquil, and small enough to not be overrun with other guests. The distance to the beach is the highlight of course, but there are also 2 great restaurants on either side. Not all of the guests parked their vehicles well, which made getting out of the small parking lot difficult at times.

Checkin was pretty horrible, we were told nothing about the property, the area, the beach- nothing. Just handed keys and sent away.

• Olga (8/5): - Прекрасное расположение прямо у пляжа! Рядом кафе Vida Hermosa с вкусной едой, коктейлями, смузи. Проживали в апартаментах #7, кондиционер есть только в спальне, поэтому в другой комнате очень сильно жарко, крыша очень сильно нагревается.
• Simon (5/5): Raus aus dem Zimmer und ab an den Strand! - Die Lage ist perfekt. Der Strand liegt direkt vor der Nase. Ansonsten hat der Ort eine gute/überschaubare Größe und Restaurants links und rechts vom "Hotel". Gerade die Dusche und der Pool sind nach dem Baden im Meer super. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im unteren Stockwerk. Es roch nach feuchtem Keller. Wir hatten bei jeder Gelegenheit Fenster und Tür offen, es wurde nur minimal besser, vielleicht haben wir uns auch an den Geruch gewöhnt. Nach den Bildern hatten wir ein helles Zimmer erwartet, bei uns war es jedoch recht dunkel. Das Bett war nur ca. 1,80m lang. Eigentlich ist es eine Ferienwohnung und kein Hotel. Einen Zimmerservice gibt es nicht, neue Handtücher hatten wir nur auf Nachfrage erhalten.

• Carrie (7/5): It was good for a short stay (we had 2 nights here). - The beach and sunsets were amazing!. We wanted to be out of town from Jaco and this place fit the bill. There was an awesome restaurant (Vida Hermosa) next door with great food & atmosphere. . The room was dark and really hot when we first arrived and it took quite awhile to cool down (a/c only in bedroom). There were 2 large double doors that could be opened but it was so warm out that it seemed counterintuitive to do that since we were trying to cool the place down.

• Familia Lopez San Roman (7/5): Ubicación superior a Instalaciones - La ubicación sobre la playa !! La pileta con vista al mar. Solo tiene aire acondicionado en el dormitorio y los que duermen en el living solo tienen ventilador. No tiene agua caliente en la bacha. Es miy oscuro. Tiene una sola ventana pequeña.

• Steph ZT (7/5): - La locación está increíble, justo frente al mar. Un espacio lindo y muy tranquilo. La administradora tiene un trato algo tosco, sobretodo por mensajes. Usualmente en después del check out la mayoría de lugares permiten entregar la llave y disfrutar de las instalaciones, acá no se puede porque el parqueo es sumamente pequeño, permiten quedarse pero hay que buscar parqueo en otro espacio. Además, cuando llegamos no había nadie que nos recibiera.
