• Joy (2/5): Deceptive listing and pricing with much worse facilities and experience than other local motels. - The small motel is reasonably clean, located at a place near restaurant and town center. We have stayed overnight in Mount Beauty for holidays in the region for many years, mostly in motels and guesthouses of much cheaper prices than White Rabbit Guesthouse which we paid $332 for one night this time. We knew the small, beautiful town and accommodations well, enjoyed the stay with friendly and warm people. White Rabbit Guesthouse listing on booking.com starts with “Entire place is yours” with exceptional good rating and a much higher price mark than those local motels made us believe that it’s a better accommodation than motels we stayed, and mislead to believe it’s an classy independent cottage or house! Actually it’s a small motel! We felt conned. The problems in side the small motel room were those we never experienced in our decades of travel: 1) the mattress we slept on was such poor quality that it yielded to weight in very unbalanced way, our upper bodies pushed down and our legs were higher! The sleeping experience was so bad that I moved to the tv sofa after a few hours?! 2) the bathroom don’t have place to put clean or dirty clothes, for the first time, we have to move chair from living room to bathroom to help. 3. Unlike all other cheaper motels that have convenient power points available, it was a struggle to find them there. Tv space was extremely narrow and punishing that watching distance with in 1.5m?!

• Fleur (9/5): A lovely, quiet, cosy and comfortable guesthouse perfect for that long weekend escape. - A lovely, quiet, comfortable guesthouse with friendly hosts, two dogs and a hen. Well provisioned and stylishly decorated. We especially appreciated the walk in wardrobe space for all of our gear, and accessible power points for recharging GPS and comms devices. Maybe a couple of lower profile pillows, but otherwise we were really very happy with our choice to stay at White Rabbit Mountain Guest House.

• Karina (9/5): Supurb Weekend at White Rabbit Mountain Guest House - The property was perfect, it was like staying in 5 star hotel, even better. Everything was of very good quality, towels were thick, there were bathrobes and slippers provided. A bed was very confortable. There was a coffee machine and a nice selection of quality tea bags. The location was perfect, very convenient for travelling to Falls Creek. There was a nice restaurant very close to the property. Thank you Janet & Gerard for our stay. We liked everything.

• Brendan (10/5): 10/10 Perfection! Highly recommend and will definitely be my go to when visiting the area. - Fast and friendly communication from the hosts at all times. The guest house is absolutely perfect! Super comfortable mattress and bedding matched with high end luxurious products throughout the house. No shortcuts taken here! Professional Hotel grade towels, 4 ply toilet paper, High end hand soaps etc which all make a huge difference to your stay. The only thing I didnt like is the fact that I had to come home after 5 nights and couldn't stay longer!
