- Grant (9/5): - Close to beach, Coles and Surf Club. Public Transport Building is very tired. But this unit is fine inside.
- Alison (1/5): Disappointed - Nothing We were double booked - only discovered as we were entering code in to collect key for property - we were in another state with 3 kids in tow and spent the next 4 hours trying to find accommodation- the only accommodation we found was more than double the price and the property. We had no help from the host or booking.com to find an alternative and they have refused to pay any compensation towards this. We are currently seeking help from fair trading
- Jamie (7/5): Proximity to the beach and could bring our dog - The main attraction to the property is the proximity to the beach. Wonderful to wake up and walk across one road straight onto the beach. I liked that food outlets, supermarket and North Burleigh Surf Club were all very close for meals and supplies. Apartment well stock with kitchen utensils, toilet paper, cleaning supplies etc. Loved that we could bring our small dog who enjoyed the beach as much as we did. Secure parking is a bonus. Not directly the fault of the owner however there were two large skip bins for the complex right below our door and they were both overflowing with no room to put our rubbish. The smell, the flies and cockroaches was awful. Flies got into the apartment every time we opened the door. I contacted the owner and spoke to other residents who both advised it was the Council not collecting the bins. It was there the whole three nights we were there and it was very unpleasant. The apartment we were in is at the rear of the complex which looks onto a wall of the shops. Not scenic and no outdoor space with seating to just chill. Few issues such as vacuum didn’t work (no sucking power) and no broom to clean just a dustpan and brush.
