- JOANNA (5/5): We enjoyed our stay despite the problems we had but I don’t believe we will return. - The place is newer and clean. There is a beach with sand and rocks. Rocks surrounded the lake making it difficult to get down to the water. There were issues with the maintenance of the bathroom pocket door. When my daughter-in-law when to use the bathroom her two year old son closed the pocket door and luckily before it completely closed the screws gave way from the rollers. Luckily he wasn’t injured as the door fell into the lower track and not on his hand. In checking the Internet I discovered that the backing out of the screws is a common problem with these doors. The company however has sent me a bill for the repair. We called the person they have on call and with my sons help he repaired the door. I should not have to pay for an issue that is clearly something that needs to be maintained. The internet tends to go out and is reset in another cabin. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and pots and pans but is missing good quality frying pans. It is difficult to make pancakes, eggs and bacon with only one frying pan. There should be instructions on how to operate the cooling system. The pool and hotel are passed their prime but the water is heated and we enjoyed our time in the pool as the weather wasn’t good for going into the lake.
