The team there helped us with everything from booking a sunset cruise and Dervish show, to restaurant recommendations, neighborhoods to see, and transportation to & from the airport and various experiences. Top notch in every regard. We are a family of 4, with two college age sons and have traveled extensively. Everything exceeded our expectations.

• Emily Ross (10/5): A true gem in Istanbul - perfect location, perfect hosting and a perfect immersion in the city - This is a very special property right next to the Galata Tower, perfectly positioned to experience the wonders of Istanbul. This hotel has only 15 rooms and it feels like staying with a very well connected hospitable family - they know all the restaurants (Murat the manager's wife is a very well versed on the very best culinary highlights of the city - and nothing is to much trouble). The small cafe that sits over the street has superb La Marzocco and authentic Turkish coffee and is the perfect place to watch the world go by. It's rare that a hotel has a genuinely cool cafe - staff here are kind, cultured, interest and very Istanbul cool - the San Sebastian cheesecake, pastries and morning stuffed simit (Turkish bagel but better!). Rooms are beautifully appointed, excellent linens, fluffy towels and excellent daily housekeeping services too. Tea, nuts and fruits welcome you and at night the hotel is sublimely quiet. As anywhere in the city, you will hear the muezzin call to prayer but this is a magical later of life in Istanbul. The hotel also organised a brilliant guide for us to explore the main UNESCO sights. The perks of such a great location is that we were just around the corner from the divine Museum of Innocence, galleries, second hand stores and wonderful cafes and restaurants - and we could not get lost as the tower can be seen from anywhere in the city. The hotel is terrific but what makes World Galata is the team, the depth of service, understanding of true hospitality and going the extra mile. We saw all the fancy expensive hotels (and even had a drink at the Four Seasons) and it has nothing on the feeling of staying in the wonderful area of Galata. Wi-Fi was a occasionally patchy in the room but extenders manage this well. No lift but baggage service was brilliant!

Their own coffee shop with 50% discount on all food and drinks was a great place to relax and people watch. Food was great. Staff couldn't have been more lovely or helpful. Le personnel très gentil et très attentionné, en mesure de te proposer des adresses en local sympa et des transferts pour les visites et aéroports. Le bruit dans la rue jusqu'à 23h30 le week end. Mais nous y étions un soir de match et l'équipe locale a gagné le titre. Cela a joué aussi probablement. Reste que la chambre que nous avions donnait sur la rue et que ce n'est pas très bien isolé.

• Diane (10/5): Charming boutique hotel with an outstanding staff and a great location. - We really enjoyed our stay at the World Boutique Hotel in Istanbul. The location is excellent — very lively and tourist-friendly, just steps away from the iconic Galata Tower, making it easy to explore the area on foot. The staff truly made the experience special. Everyone, from reception to the cleaning staff and café employees, was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Murat, Ismael, and Erkan for their kindness and helpfulness. They assisted us in organizing a walking tour and booking a hamam, which we really appreciated. The attached coffee shop was also very convenient for breakfast, offering delicious pastries, quiche, and great coffee. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the complimentary bottles of water refreshed daily, as well as the L’Occitane products in the bathroom. A few things to keep in mind: the rooms are quite small, with limited space for suitcases and a very small wardrobe (we had the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony). Adding a few hooks or towel racks in the room would make it more practical. We stayed on the 4th floor and there is no elevator — not an issue for us, but it could be difficult for some guests.

They made excellent recommendations for our two most meals of our trip, and for an amazing Hamam experience. Super friendly and they definitely took care of us. Plus the attached cafe had an excellent flat white. Will definitely be back. Nothing. There is no elevator, but I don’t take elevators id I can help it so it wasn’t an issue for me. But it might be an issue for a someone else.

• Diana (7/5): - Сотрудники отеля и сервис в целом, нам сразу предложили чай, и при выезде также. Очень доброжелательные люди. В номере и в отеле было чисто, что сразу заметно. Месторасположение на мой взгляд уже опытного туриста в Стамбуле, одно из лучших. Звукоизоляция соседнего номера. С улицы не было слышно ничего с закрытым окном. Но с соседнего номера было слышно все: от слива унитаза, до ночных утех, включая его разговор по телефону, то есть все, что делал сосед. Это было отвратительно. Я не знаю или мужчина впервые увидел женщину, или просто он и его эскортница безкультурные до максимума чтоб издавать звуки на всю свою громкость всю ночь. Мы не спали всю ночь до раннего утра, то из-за его разговоров, то от шума его ванной, то от противных порнозвуков. Уделяю этому столько внимание так как для меня звукоизоляция с соседних номеров это одно из главных в выборе отеля. Несмотря на все плюсы отеля, мне жаль, но это оставило неизгладимое испорченное впечатление.

• Heather (9/5): Wonderful stay - We had a wonderful stay at World House Boutique, the room was really lovely and such good value for money. All the staff were incredibly friendly and the location was amazing. Highly recommend a stay here if you're travelling to Istanbul.

• Marco (10/5): - Die Unterkunft war sehr zentral gelegen, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Der Mitarbeiter Ismael war uns gegenüber jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Er stand uns jederzeit mit allen Fragen zur Seite und hat uns sehr gut beraten. Im Café drunter kann man sehr leckere Kaffee-Spezialitäten genießen. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Bei uns fehlte ein Smart-TV.

• Johannes (10/5): Top Lage Top Hotel! - Ich bin in meinem Leben schon viel gereist aber dieser Empfang war als würde ich Freunde in Istanbul besuchen. Wir wurden in allen Fragen und Anliegen immer freundlich und zuvorkommend unterstützt! Die Lage ist aus meiner Sicht nicht besser zu bekommen in Istanbul. Ich kann dieses Hotel nur Empfehlen. Vielen Dank nochmal an das gesamte Team wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

• Nada (10/5): Exceptional - The World House Boutique was exceptional and I would love to stay there again. The location was perfect - cafes, shops and restaurants and Galata Tower within walking distance. Also, the road catered to pedestrians and there were very few cars frequenting the area. Friendly staff, great facilities and modern artistically designed rooms. It was a perfect stay for me and my family.

Neighborhood is a little noisy into the late hours of the evening. But that should be expected when staing in this area.

I’m so grateful they allowed me to have an early check-in so that I could have a quick nap before heading to Haiga Sofia after 11h flight. Great location in the heart of the Galata Tower area, exceptional view from our apartment terrace overlooking the Galata Tower, boutique café, combination of history and modern feel touch — everything is very detail-oriented from the in-room compliments to the attitude of the staff, all make you feel like a very special guest and inspire you to return to this magical place again. • Wei (10/5): Would definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Istanbul and want to stay close to everything! - The place was amazing and the staff were so nice, especially Ismail, who is extremely warm and friendly (helped us store luggage, order taxi and everything). Murat was also really helpful as well. Nice location, nice ambience within the house, and great cafe attached. The place is on a really busy street, so even though the noise cancelling windows work well, some noise at night does come through.

Месторасположение отличное, Башня Галата в шаговой доступности, до Галатапорт мин 10 пешком. Хотя отель находится в туристическом районе, но благодаря хорошим стеклопакетам в номере не было слышно звуков с улицы. Очень приятное кафе при отеле. Кстати, чизкейк Сан Себастьян у них вкуснее, чем в кафе возле башни Галата) Очень маленькие шкафы для одежды. В душе только душевая стойка без лейки, что не очень удобно. Посередине, в одной из комнат, был подъем на полу. Все об него постоянно спотыкались.

• Wei (8/5): - amazing service with friendly and helpful staff, very convenient location (however there are some noise given it is on a busy touristy street). nice ambience, clean rooms, and overall comfortable stay. WiFi at times is a little slow, and heater is not as warm during chiller nights. The top floor lighting for the bathroom is a little dark at night— but this is an old building over a century old, so it makes sense.

We had most contact with Ismail but all staff were great! Superb location for explorers of Istanbul (we were first time visitors). • Wood (7/5): - Conveniently located, lovely staff, rooms were stylishly updated. So loud, could not sleep at all. Room was facing Main Street and the lights were bright and lots of loud street noises from cars and people that meant sleep was difficult

• Amirault (10/5): Un petit cocon à la déco très étudiée - La déco , l’emplacement et l’attention du personnel . Nous avions un petit sac de sucreries et gâteaux de Noël le jour du 31 et un de croissants le 1er . C’était vraiment très agréable . Dans la chambre les consommations sont gratuites ainsi que le café et les tisanes . Le balcon avec la vue sur la tour était un gros plus . Il n’y a pas d’ascenseur et au 4 e c’est rude , mais heureusement le personnel de la réception nous a monté et descendu les valises .

• Ondrej Nemec (9/5): naprosto skvělé místo a zajímavá historická stavba - úžasné místo do 100 m od Galata Tower a 200 m od metra...v okolí mnoho restaurací a všude lze i do staré části dojít pěšky do 30 min....velmi ochotný a starostlivý personál. Hotel měl vkusně zařízené pokoje a vše fungovalo. V přízemí je místní kavárnička kde mají hosté 50% slevu. Lze čerpat i na snídani.

• Naziha (10/5): A wonderful hotel, beautifully decorated with 5 star treatment! Perfect location! - We were truly blessed to be at this beautiful little hotel! We’ve been to many 5 stars hotel and this is at the very top of those lists! From the moment we walked in, we were assisted with our luggage, were given warm greetings by all the staff, even at the coffee shop which is part of the hotel. We were offered amazing Turkish coffee and tea. Our wonderful assistant Murat immediately became like a long lost friend! He kindly upgraded us to the beautiful suite, located on the top floor. The room is so beautiful comfy and homely, we sincerely felt like in our own surroundings. The bed was super comfortable and we slept like logs. Shower is beautiful presented as well as the room. Beautiful thought out amenities, tea and coffee is of high quality and served how we like it - loose leaves in French press. We had complementary mini bar, which even some 5 stars do not provide, fresh fruit platter was also available. The views from our suite is above all, spectacular and mesmerizing. Everything is located on your doorstep. They have their own coffee shop with amazing coffee and cakes,and a gift shop too. We honestly couldn’t fault a thing about this hotel. All the staff are extremely welcoming and friendly! Thank you to all, Murat, Ismail, Eren (at the coffee shop) ‘tiler’ the cat and the rest! It’s 5 stars all the way! You have truly mastered how be host your guests 👍 Only negative - we didn’t want to leave! Also, perhaps not for those who are sensitive to a little street noise at night.

• Tonja (10/5): Class. Comfortable. Location. Beauty’s all in abundance. If you are lucky enough to stay here you rave like I have - I liked everything about the property. It absolutely drips in class. It’s right on the main street but it’s set back in private. The way they decorated is beyond what anybody could ever ask for there’s an absolutely adorable coffee shop on the bottom floor. You are in the most incredible location for shopping and dining and wandering. Also at the top of the street away from the tram to take you to the old part. I will not stay anywhere else anytime I am in Istanbul I also have to mention the staff. They were all wonderful. I arrived sick and they made sure they brought me tea from the coffee shop and a couple of times brought me things to eat because they were worried about me. They set up travel guides and anything I wanted to check out had information on. . Erkon became a friend because of how thoughtful and kind he was. Usually, I have at least one downside about a property, but I cannot be negative in any way about this place. The staff was unbelievable.
