• Jeff (4/5): Should have read the reviews more carefully, - ‘The entire place is yours’ NO it is not, every inch of space in the wardrobes and chests of drawers are crammed full with the owners stuff, not room to hang or pack anything away. Creepy. BBQ is off-limits, rooms full of owners stuff, fridge half full of owner’s manky food. . No aircon in bedrooms. Electric gate not working.

• Michael (10/5): Beautiful home and gardens for a relaxing stay - Lovely home with spacious living area and well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the relaxed surroundings and gardens including the animals nearby. The hostess was great about calling me with information since we booked very late.
• Fedde (9/5): Prima locatie in een hele rustige straat - Prachtig schoon huis met meerdere slaapkamers en van alle gemakken voorzien. Auto kon op het erf veilig worden geparkeerd. Postkantoor en supermarkt op loopafstand. Wifi bleek helaas niet ingeschakeld. Dat is jammer. Gelukkig hadden we ook zelf de mogelijkheid om met eigen telefoon een hotspot te vormen. Een wasdroger zou ook fijn zijn geweest, maar dat is meer een tip dan dat we willen zeggen dat het tegenviel. Schoonmaakkosten van bijna € 75 waren erg hoog. We hebben de woning net zo schoon achtergelaten als deze bij aankomst was.

• Hannah (1/5): !!! READ OTHER REVIEWS. DO NOT BOOK !!! - The garden, although I understood from the instructions that we couldn't go near the garden. (Yes - this is one of "those" properties with a long list of rules) !!!! 1 STAR - We arrived to find the property unprepared for guests - beds slept in, dirty kitchen, towels and clothing on floor, no spare towels, personal belongings at every turn - even toothbrushes left in the bathroom. We genuinely didn't know if another guest was still staying there, or the owners - not without precedent (see reviews Feb, April & Oct 2025 and reviews of this and owner's other properties on ABNB). Extremely concerning as we were travelling with two young children and felt that someone would walk through the door at any moment. As per previous reviews, every cupboard, fridge, freezer and drawer is packed to the brim. We felt unsafe and unwelcome. After no luck contacting the owner, Booking.com advised we should cancel, leave and would receive 100% refund. We departed immediately. The owner finally called me later to say she "couldn't remember" if she'd organised a cleaner. The process to retrieve the full refund was excruciating - the owner didn't respond to Booking.com calls or emails and so the refund couldn't be processed until the owner finally confirmed her acceptance of the full refund after 6+ weeks of painstaking repeat calls and emails to Booking.com . In the end the owner still didn't respond to Booking.com but she confirmed the refund in writing via a message. For future reference, customer.service@booking.com is the place to raise/escalate a complaint about owners who should be removed as a host on this platform due to inability to meet their host obligations and responsibilities. If personal circumstances interfere with fitfulness to maintain a suitable host status, the responsible thing to do is to pause or cancel the service.

• Patricia (6/5): - We arrived after 3pm to find the owners having lunch in the kitchen {some sort of curry/spice dish } they offered to eat outside, we went away for a while to let them finish, I do believe this was just a time management lapse on their behalf, but the house smelt like a curry of some sort when we went in. We also found it very off putting to find an abundance of personal items taking up cupboard and draw space, there was not room in the freezer because of their personal food filling it. not sure if this is a normal occurrence across BnBs ? the owner was pleasant.
• Sarah (2/5): - Only 1 heater, was freezing. - front door broken - freezing only 1 heat pump and bedrooms off a separate hallway. - couches worn - built-ins choked as in hoarder material and we had to just sifle through suitcases from the floor. - wouldn't allow 2pm early check-in unless we checked out early in morning at 9am hmm yep, she rang twice to try manipulate us to leave so her windows could get upgraded and he wouldn't do it unless we left early. We felt like we were inconvenience to her. - paid $440 for this nonsense from an unwelcome host 🙄 - super noisy especially in morning, its on a main road.
• Tim (10/5): Large comfortable property, great for a mixed group (3 separate bedrooms each with 2 beds). - Clean and large property - the living areas were comfortable and large, beds very comfy. Loved having an undercover table & chairs outside to enjoy during the day, and later indoors was perfect for our group of 5 to play board games & watch TV. Couldn't find a powerpoint by the bed, though I wasn't looking until late and it was dark - was probably there I just should've looked earlier!

• Shane (2/5): Very poor - Very nice home We booked this whole house and when we arrived the owners were there. They left us out on the footpath for 20 minutes .They then decided they weren't leaving but we could stay so ended up having to sharing our booking with them. The owner offered us a discount which 3 days later we still haven't received! So payed $370 nz for a bed not impressed!

• Jye-hann (1/5): Quite disappointed with this stay. Not recommended. - Kitchen and living area is cozy One of the bedroom smell like just freshly painted. The paint smell was very strong. We did not use that bedroom. And there are no heat/ AC in the bedrooms (AC only in living / kitchen area). The bedrooms were too cold and some of us ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room.

• Helen (5/5): Passable - Secure, clean property Breakfast was supposedly included but No bread, butter or milk. Dry cereal and peanut butter is not breakfast. Jam was mouldy. House is really only suited to 4 adults and 2 children. I was not comfortable with the cupboards, wardrobes being full with personal things. No room to hang a coat or anything. No room I'm freezer to put ice pack, ( full of food). Not set up for tourist's as in local information, operation of TV or oven.
• Jacquie (8/5): The overall all home exper6was delightful accessing the property was difficult - Waa given no instructions how to enter the property worked out the code was to the "garden" gate not released the actual driveway gate .. rang the number provided and the gentleman said his number shouldn't have been handed out ...there was no code given to open the lock box to enter the house...

• Marco (8/5): Very good - The living room is huge and cozy, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the garden is nice and quite The announcement says “breakfast included” but actually some tea and coffee a litre of milk and some cereal are offered, which is nothing more than a complementary welcome. A breakfast is something more. We went to the nearby IGA (which is luckily at walking distance) to buy something. Not a big issue, I do not expect to have a breakfast included when I book a house, but do not write it. The house is equipped to sleep 8 people, but remember that there is only one bathroom. We are 4 and was good for us but if you are more than this….
