We requested a room clean in advance via the WhatsApp chat line, but the staff didn't fulfill that request. We asked for towels, but we didn't receive them in time.
hisashi (9/5): Highly recommended - Room size was not large yet comfortable enough as it has a space for a sofa. It’s quiet at night even though the room was facing a street.

Anastasiia (10/5): - По прибытию в 5 утра наш номер уже был готов и нам предложили услугу раннего заселения. Это было очень удобно и позволило хорошо выспаться, а не «потерять» день из-за недосыпа. Уютный, чистый номер, с интересным решением в виде небольшого балкона и туалета в отдельном помещении. Расположение недалеко от центра, все в пешей доступности. Приятный персонал. Нехватает поверхностей для удобного расположения вещей у кровати, а также мало розеток.

The neighborhood loʻked not great, but then we got familiar with the restaurants and other local spots and everything was safe and even pleasant.

We got a different room than shown in the pictures but had the same things on paper. The AC didn't work really well. It made a lot of noise and was supposed to cool down to 16 degrees but didn't really feel like it cooled down.

Overall a good stay, would definitely stay again! The door is quite thin, if there is outside noise you might hear it. Its towards the corridor though and it was very quiet, no issues.

HIỀN (9/5): - Mình ở chỗ này nhiều lần rồi, mỗi lần 1 phòng khác nhau. Được cái thiết kế phòng rất là ưng, kỳ này mình ở trên tầng thượng, có quầy bar nhỏ rất chill. Staff rất dễ thương.
THÁI HIỀN (8/5): - Thiết kế phòng đẹp mắt, lễ tân rất dễ thương. Phòng nằm dưới đất, điện hành lang bị hư nên tối om. Phía trước hành hàng bước vào phòng bị đọng nước, phòng có muỗi nhiều, sáng sớm ai tưới cây nước rớt xuống trần nhà bộp bộp, không ngủ được.

Akulaga (7/5): Everything was fine, but the vibrations 😬 - - Great location - No rooms above, so no footsteps or noise from upstairs - There’s a nice, cozy patio on the rooftop - Unlimited drinking water - There's a lot of lime on the bathroom doors - There's nowhere to hang the towel! - You can’t walk naked from the shower to the bed because you have to go through the kitchen, which has no curtain - and office workers in the building across the street can see you - During heavy rain, the kitchen area floods with dirty water. It eventually drains away, but the trash it brings in stays - The neighbor’s air conditioner is attached to the wall behind the shower. When it’s on, the vibration and noise travel through the shower and kitchen walls, and you can clearly hear it even while lying on your pillow. Very unpleasant - The hotel tried to help by fixing the neighbor’s AC while that room was empty, and they offered to move us to another room. But we wanted to stay in our room until the end of the trip. Also, I got quite sick with a bad cold, and moving rooms would have been uncomfortable. Overall, the room is nice, but only if you’re not sick and not a light sleeper

Stalin (5/5): This is NOT my "go to" place when I next visit Ho Chi Minh City. - My room was beautiful, cozy, and well-kept. The reception staff was warm and welcoming over WhatsApp, right up until the check-in process was complete. I especially loved the semi-open bathroom design, featuring a frosted glass wall and sliding panel, a stylish and unique touch. The room, although well-kept, had a noticeable smell at the time of check-in. I had to request a room freshener to feel more comfortable. During the stay, I also spotted a few baby lizards and cockroaches, not an infestation, but something to be aware of. The reception staff on duty was initially welcoming, but his demeanor felt unprofessional at times, frequently smirking and lacking local knowledge. When I asked for directions to a currency exchange, he sent a location that appeared to be temporarily closed (confirmed by both Google Maps and visiting in person). I provided feedback, but he didn't seem to accept it. On the day of check-out, I accidentally slipped in the bathroom (no injury, thankfully) and broke a ceramic shampoo container while trying to balance myself. When I informed the reception, his immediate response was not to ask if I was okay or offer to check the situation, but to tell me I'd need to pay a fine. The fine turned out to be roughly one-third of the nightly room rate, which I felt is excessive but paid anyway. Overall, I wouldn’t particularly recommend a stay here based on my experience. That said, others might have a different impression depending on their expectations and tolerance for such things.

Phuong C. Van (8/5): A great local place at a good price - I had a really great stay. The location is very central, with easy access to various attractions, while still being situated in a fairly local neighborhood, which gives a nice glimpse into everyday local life. The place is clean and tidy, and the staff is very helpful with everything. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and really liked my room, especially the private balcony facing the street

Reshani (9/5): Clean, homely and excellent service. - This property absolutely met my expectations, no complaints. Renovations underway, can look forward to more upgrades in future. The management/staff was excellent. I encountered an issue with one of their rooms at another property during my extended stay, but they swiftly shifted me back to this property and into whatever room they had available which was actually a more superior room than what I'd booked, no fuss whatsoever, and only charged me my original booking rate. Outstanding service, would definitely recommend and revisit if I return to HCMC.

Olha (10/5): Exceptional - 🌟 Truly exceptional service! 🌟 I was genuinely impressed by the level of care and customer focus at this hotel. When I mentioned that I wasn’t comfortable with some renovation work nearby (which, by the way, doesn’t happen often), the staff immediately offered to move me to another one of their hotels — and it was even better! That kind of attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile really stood out. There was also a moment when I accidentally left my key card in the room, and one of the staff members came early in the morning just to help me open the door. Incredibly kind and responsive team. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and in a great location. I absolutely recommend this place — 100% satisfaction, top-notch hospitality!

Jack (4/5): Disappointing - Comfy bed, good size of apartment and good smart TV. Location was pretty ideal. It’s probably just bad timing for us but our stay was made unbearable at times because of construction noise. Between hours of 9-5 there was extremely loud and constant drilling from the hotel lobby. Then after midnight there was government construction on the streets right outside. Staff offered to move us to a different hotel but they refused to refund any of the stay. I feel they should really advertise the noise more before booking.

Dipeeka (10/5): Very good - Everything. We had the one room with private roof top, great view. I loved feeling like we were in the city even tho we were in our hotel room. Good laundry service you just put the clothes outside the door. The light was horrible at night, my partner didn’t mind at all but me, I was deeply bothered by the sharp spotlights. It can easily be solved by adding one small soft lamp on the bedside for the nights. With that being said I would easily book several night there again lol
Paul (8/5): - It was ok but nothing special. Paying extra for the balcony is pointless as it has no view and can barely fit one person. It was clean and the bathroom was good with good pressure. The ac was also fine.
Phuong (9/5): Semi-local neighborhood in central Saigon - I did not intend to stay here, but the shuttle service from Vung Tau (Hoa Mai car) dropped me off at Vo Van Kiet St. instead of Nguyen Thai Binh St. Instead of walking to the previously shortlisted hotels, I passed by Mersey. It looked modern and clean from the outside, the reviews confirmed the same. I booked it on the spot, check in was seamless. The room is spacious, new and clean. There was even a kitchenette and a balcony that I did not use. Bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom had all the amenities I needed in modern stylish design. The common area in the reception also looked nice, although I didn't spend time there. Nothing really, the only area for improvement is storage space in the bathroom. It would be nice to have somewhere to hang the clothes and towels. It can be worked around by moving the clothes hanger in the room to the bathroom or use one of the metal chairs. It would also be good to have a more convenient place for shampoo and shower gel. It was stored on a shelf above the toilet, slightly inconvenient when taking a shower, I ended up putting the bottles on the floor. Also there was no safe (or I couldn't find it), but wasn't important enough for me to raise it to the staff.

Danielle (10/5): - I love staying at Holo/Mersey apartments. They are well appointed and convenient to all tourist areas but we feel like we are living in VN. The staff is always ready to help, advise and let you know about what is around to suit your needs. Everything works, the beds are comfortable, the water in the shower is hot, they supply fresh drinking water. And there is a lovely roof top sitting area. Can’t recommend it enough.

There’s a good little corner coffee shop three blocks up and one across that we went to everyday!
Anica (7/5): Good - Room was not like on the pictures, but was nice and comfortable. Not a lot of daylight as be were on a ground floor. Staff was helpful. But terrible neighbors, one day we had karaoke for 6 hours straight (first day that we arrived and just wanted to have some rest). Hotel tried to do something about it, but nothing changed.
Sandie (8/5): Funky and cosy spot.. - Our room was great as it was spacious and having a little balcony was cool. Free snacks are also awesome, and the rooftop oitdoor kotchen bar area. It's totally recommended. We walked to lots of places from Mersey.
