Guest Reviews
- Janene (7/5): Perfect location. Large terrace - Location couldn’t be better. The terrace was great and we used it often. The apartment was actually tiny. Smaller than it looks in the photos. The bed in the loft had no lighting which meant the main light had to stay on which impacted the person in the single bed below. There was one power point upstairs at the foot of the bed but many of the power points were old so we had to buy converters as ours didn’t fit. Also in the kitchen it was very dark at night which made it hard to do anything. We used our phone torches. The suitcases also had to fit in the tiny lounge room. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment for 3 people. Two is probably ok.
- Janna Klazina (8/5): - De locatie was echt fantastisch! Een hele leuke wijk in Rome voor eten en wat drinken, en op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden in Rome. Niks
- Jens (9/5): -
- Corrie Jean (9/5): -
- Elena (6/5): I don’t find it comfortable for a pleasant stay. - The location is good.
The towels and bed linens were very clean. The host was very, very kind and extremely quick to respond. The ceiling and the space where the bed is are very cramped. You can barely move around. There are no bedside tables or individual lights to read before going to sleep. Not recommended for tall people like us or for anyone who feels uncomfortable with low ceilings, because it really is very low. There is an old (but usable) two-seater armchair, but it’s in the kitchen and not very comfortable. The lighting in this area is very harsh and white, which doesn’t create a warm atmosphere, and it’s also insufficient for cooking given the kitchen layout.
The apartment is quiet, although it’s in one of the calmest parts of Trastevere, it’s full of trattorias, which I personally find a bit off-putting.
The furniture is far from what you would expect for the price of the apartment, as is the kitchenware, which is extremely limited (2 plates, 2 glasses, and rather old pans and pots). There are only espresso cups (very small). There was just a drop of dish soap and a small hotel-style bar of soap for washing hands.
In summary: I don’t think it’s an apartment for a comfortable stay in Rome, but it works if you just need a place to sleep. It depends on the type of trip you’re planning.
- Banu (10/5): - The terrace was wonderful. nothing
- Lucia (10/5): Fantastisch, we hebben ervan genoten - Het was er rustig en in een leuke, gezellige buurt. Dichtbij openbaar vervoer en een heerlijk terras.
- Ewa (10/5): - First if all - the location is just perfect! Personally i was also looking for an old-stylished place and the apartment fit in perfectly. Additionally you have a beautiful tarrace to enjoy your meals or just chill in the sun. The apartment has everything you need to stay for couple of days. Even though I didn't have the occasion to meet Letizia personally, she was always there for us, answering my questions right away and helping out with some brekkie recommendations. None
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - The apartment is in an excellent location in a very nice part of Rome. The apartment is very cute and in a nice old building. The terrace is a bonus although it was extremely hot in Rome while we were there so we couldn't use it!
There are a lot of stairs to get to the apartment, but it is an attic apartment! There was a heatwave while we were in Rome, and even with the aircon, the roof bedroom was very warm. Not a criticism really, it isn't possible to control the weather!
- Pehlivan (9/5): Superb - It was a lovely home in a well-known area, just as described. The cleaning was good, and it had two air conditioners, which were really needed during a summer holiday. The terrace was lovely as well. Overall, everything was great—but the best part was the communication with the owner, Letizia. She was very supportive and always answered my questions promptly.
- David (7/5): Great location to explore Trastevere. - Great location to places of attractions, good food and shopping! Terrace was awesome for eating and chilling! Love the bed on the upper deck! Host was very responsive to our needs when we requested for assistance. Cookware / towels could be cleaner.
Washing machine was old looking(rusty).
To provide hand soap / basic toiletries.
- Bryan (9/5): Superb -
- Fionna (8/5): Old style apartment in good location, lots of restaurants within walking distance. - Good location. The terrace was great even in Winter. Stairs!
- Gary (9/5): Great location, an apartment full of personality, we will definitely book this apartment again when we are next in Rome. - Location, location, location. The terrace was a joy as well Mezzanine bed was a bit quirky. Low beams got a bit of getting used to but it was really comfortable. Would have been good to have a ‘how to’ manual to tell you where to put the bins out, how to turn the oven on etc
- Stephanie (10/5): Perfect location in Trastevere - The sunrise on the terrace was perfect each morning. My host had yummy bites and sparkling wine for our wedding anniversary in the room. There was an unclean situation in the bathroom that I think was just overlooked because everything else was perfect. I would stay again!
- Nomchong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (9/5): This was a very nice base for our week in Rome. Grazie! - The location was wonderful, as was the terrace. The owner was nice and readily available via email. The AC worked well. The bed was a little hard.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Kerry (6/5): Overall good - Location Some parts look a little tired
- Marina (9/5): Superb - Nice appartment , very good location, beautiful terasse
- Zafer (5/5): Passable -
- Victoria (7/5): Good -
- Nathalie (10/5): Excellent. I highly recommend this property. And I will go back as soon as I get a chance - Everything. The apartment, the terrace, the location, the host was always accommodating. The WiFi was good
