Michael (4/5): Fantastic apartment, but make sure you clarify and agree to all the requirements before checking in. - The apartment is extremely clean, seems new and well supplied with cutlery and linens. The view is amazing and located in a quiet neighbourhood. The staff were friendly and explained the check-in process in detail once I called them. The check-in process was overly complicated in my opinion. I received quite a lot of messages both in Italian, English and German (as I'm based in Germany) which were long, overly detailed and inconsistent sometimes. This confusion led to us being outside the apartment having to call them to check in. There were quite a few things that were unclear: - hidden in the amenities and NOT in the costs, it was mentioned the towels and linens cost extra. What is unfair to me is that the amount is not clear before booking, and you are essentially forced to pay because linens are needed to sleep. We had to pay 10€ per person which I've never done before. I would recommend that this somehow be included in the final costs and not as a surprise after the booking. - we unfortunately missed the 250€ security deposit requirement before check-in. Be aware you need to pay this before you can check in. This is done via a secure app. To be fair, I only paid the tourist tax 30min before the check in. Nevertheless, the confusion of messages led me to be skeptical about the booking. On a more positive note, once we checked in, the communication and check out were very smooth. I would just recommend more clarity and transparency in advance.
