Guest Reviews
- Caroline (5/5): Good location, lots of potential but very noisy - Great location for us and lots to do with teenage boys So much noise all night!! Loads of stomping around….
- Siobhan (8/5): Very good -
- Anonymous (3/5): I’m glad we only stayed one night - The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice. It is a basement apt. It was cold when we arrived and we had to call the owner to turn on the heat. We did not have enough blankets. The place was clean enough. The towels in the bathroom had holes in it. The thing that I disliked the most is that the art on the walls and the bord in the living room had some sexual messages. We did travel with a child. I will never return there.
- Hana (7/5): Good -
- Penpak (1/5): Bad - we showed up to our place reeking of cigarettes even though we were told about how the “cleaning crew” had cleaned our room earlier that day (our first impression). the listing says “no pets” but what they it doesn’t say is that they have a dog that will bark all through the night and morning. There wasn’t 1 hour that went by that the dog wasn’t barking. Even worse, the owners above us were fighting and shouting all night and all morning. they stomp every time they walk and the dog barks right after. We had to look for a power cord for the only streaming service which was a playstation. all through the late hours of the night we constantly heard fighting and feet stomping. on our last day we were woken up at 3am to the dog barking and the couple fighting above us, we got a quiet break from 3am-6am when we were again woken by feet stomping and the dog barking. Absolutely would never recommend this to anyone who is single, a couple or ANYONE with a baby!

- Steph (10/5): I had a great time staying here! I would highly recommend this place! - I loved the apartment. The location was great. The hosts were very nice.
- Christine (9/5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Fabulous place to stay. Super fun and cozy feel. It had everything we needed. - We loved the cozy atmosphere and amenities. We loved everything about the property. The only thing (which wasn’t even a huge issue) was that for taller people, the ceiling was a bit low. The teenagers had a bit of an issue not knowing how to use the shower properly since it’s not conventional, but all in all we really loved the place. We would stay again and recommend it to others.
- Pavel (7/5): Good - The host offers extra excitement during the night, which includes shouting, stomping, running around barefooted. You are not invited to the party but it sure is fun being woken at night to activities like this.
- Leah (8/5): Very good -
- Pham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jillian (10/5): 10/10 would stay again - The decor was awesome. My 3 year old, who loves super heroes, was obsessed with the whole place. He called it “the Spidey house”. Private, secure entrance, and although it’s a basement, it didn’t feel like a basement. Full kitchen and the shower was very nice. Beds were very comfortable.
Everyone in the previous reviews complaining about the dog barking, but the dog literally only barks for 2 minutes when you open the door, and it’s just a small dog, not a big loud dog. Only downside was the location. Although the neighborhood was very safe and we felt comfortable walking at night with our little one, it was a good 15 minute drive to downtown, and we’re not familiar with public transit, but this wouldn’t stop us from staying here again.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rick (2/5): Very disappointed ☹️ - Location and facilities The 2nd night I was there they partied until 7 AM in the morning and I didn't get a wink of sleep. When they were out their dog barked 24/7🤬 I contacted the owner and she said she was willing to refund me one night stay because of the inconvenience, but never received any money back. Very rude and very unacceptable behavior. I would not recommend this place.
- Mihas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tammy (8/5): Very good - Was cutely decorated and easy to use local transportation.
Was very clean. When we arrived after a long day and could not nap as dog barking. We finally went out after 15 mi s of continuous barking.
In the evening, the dog kept barking around 10:30 and hard to fall.asleep. the dog then barked aging for min 15 .mins around 3:00am.
When contacted the owner, they finally had the dog moved for duration of our stay.
Was a nice enough place
Outside the house a lot of garbage along the side of the house and possibly.some animals got Into it

- Jacqueline (3/5): Seems like they never hosted anyone before or they just weren’t prepared for us. Better of staying somewhere else. - Location was close to our venue. A lot of amenities if we were to stay longer. When we arrived, the door code given did not work to our basement unit and someone that wasn’t the host had to let us in via THEIR door leading to our unit. (Which means they could access our unit from theirs without us being able to lock the door from our side-very uncomfortable). There was supposed to be free parking and there was a broken down vehicle in the driveway where we were to park. The car was moved forward to make room for us and every time we left the unit to leave, we had to squeeze past the vehicle in the rain to get by which got our clothes wet and dirty. There was a weird smell in the unit with a ton of fans and humidifiers everywhere to mask it. The shower was ice cold-no hot water even though the other faucets all had warm water. The sheets were not clean with questionable substances. The people upstairs were up until 4:30 in the AM stomping around the first night and then up at 6 AM the next day. Plus a yappy dog. The noise is understandable when staying in a downstairs unit, however, on top of it all, the host accused my brother and I of taking a piece of decor that we never even saw on display. Superficially this place looked nice but could use a TON of improvement.
