Bernd (9/5): Ankommen und wohlfühlen. - Sehr sauberes Appartement. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Es fehlt an Nichts. Sogar eine Garage für unsere E Bikes war vorhanden.

Sabine (7/5): - zeer centraal gelegen, parkeerplaats in de buurt die je mag gebruiken, hun restaurant is naast de deur, best reserveren om er te gaan eten. Gelegen in rustig straatje waar bijna geen verkeer door komt. In het dorpje kan je een stadswandeling maken met uitleg via een app, en je kan ook mooie wandelingen maken o.a. naar de restanten van de burcht. Daarboven is ook een cafeetje. Wij hebben van hieruit ook een uitstap naar Bernkastel gedaan met de auto (half uurtje), met de boot kan ook maar dan is het 2u enkel, of fietsen huren (twee plekken in het dorpje). In Bernkastel kan je veel wijnen proeven in de vinotheek, fijn uitje als je niet met de auto bent ;-). Het appartementje is heel klein, dus minder geschikt om veel in het huisje te vertoeven. Het bed is wel heel groot en comfortabel. Een extra zitplek binnen zou nog wel fijn zijn (eventueel ipv de grote kast). Er is achterin een klein terrasje maar dit vonden we wat ingesloten. Voor de deur is wel een bankje waarop je kan zitten en natuurlijk ook genoeg in de omgeving. Goede plek dus voor wie veel op stap is, anders misschien één van hun grotere appartementjes kiezen, ze hebben er meerdere.

Franziska (10/5): Exceptional - The location was so perfect. The apartment was very nicely done and well decorated. It was beautiful and cozy. For the price it exceeded our expectations.
Katrina (7/5): Pretty village, good standard of accommodation, but still disappointing - The apartment was exactly as described - good decor, size is "bijou" but still fine for 1, even 2 guests. Good storage, well equipped small kitchen. Very good communication from the host during the enquiry and booking process. They met me with keys and showed me where everything was. They owned the restaurant next door and I had a very good meal there on the first night of my visit. The host had advised me before booking that works would be taking place in the street outside during my stay, however as it looked so lovely, I still went ahead and confirmed the booking with this knowledge. I do realise that they would have no control over the pace and extent of these works. My first full day was Sunday, so no works, and on Monday the works took place further up the street, so had little impact on me. On Tuesday I left early on a day trip so missed the disruption, however on Wednesday, the works were right outside my window for the whole day, pneumatic drills and jackhammers being used to lift cobblestones, dig trenches etc. I couldn't possibly stay in, due to the noise and also that workmen were right outside my window and could see in to my room if I didn't keep the blinds right down. My disappointment wasn't so much that the work was taking place - after all I knew in advance about it - but more that the host at no time thought to check in with me to see if everything was OK. They saw me daily as they were checking how the excavation works were impacting on their restaurant business next door. The other disappointment was that it was low season, and so many places were closed, especially at the beginning of the week when I was there although I understand it's busy still at the weekend. All in all disappointing.
