Guest Reviews
- Elena (2/5): Below standard, noisy and management does only care about money - Good area with restaurants and more stuff to do. From beginning to end this property fell short on every single avenue. I was booked in for 16 days, however, left after four. This was due to the following reasons:
1. Upon arrival, there was no comforter on the bed, meaning that there was only one sheet. I did request a blanket right away. This black had never arrived until the day I left.
2. They asked us to send documentation so we could use a facial scanner at the door, but the Face ID does not work/they disable it unless you are an owner of the apartment. Meaning every single time you are getting back, you have to ask the security to verify you and let you in. One time the guard was asleep and it took half an hour trying to get his attention for me to be let in.
3. The shower was dripping intensely. And running a risk of flooding the apartment. I also communicated this right away on the second day (see below for more details).
4. The worst, however, was the level of noise. There is a bar/club right underneath it and even with the windows closed it sounds like you're basically right in the club. The club is open until 2-3AM. There's no way to get rest or peace and quiet. In addition, you're hearing next door apartment’s inhabitants coughing that's how thin the walls are.
We messaged the property management firm right away immediately after check in. We got given the runaround from different people who were not listening or couldn't do anything. Their automated messaging system basically would delete all the conversation between them and me and so I would have to explain the same thing over and over again to say it was frustrating is definitely understating it. We never in those four days got the blanket or the shower fixed. Apparently they sent a repair guy when we were out, but the security wouldn't let them in because they were not accredited or something like that. How can you own an apartment in an apartment building and have your own repair people not be accredited for it?
- David (1/5): avoid at all costs - the apartment itself is fine (but rather loud) -the communication with the host is absolutely non existent. you are essentially on your own in a foreign country. despite my trying to contact the host about checkin I never received a reply whatsoever. so when arriving at reception, they claimed I had no right to enter the building despite having paid a substantial sum of money already. the host could never be reached either by myself or by the recptionists, who claimed I wasnt allowed to enter the building for which I had paid 3 nights in advanced. and this disnt just happen when I first checked in, this happened EVERY SINGLE TIME I had to enter the building in those 3 days. the host never resolved anything or ever reached out/replied. I find it incredible to be treated like a criminal from the street every time I try to enter my accommodation for which I have paid. avoid this place at all costs!!!
-no soap anywhere in the apartment
-reception refused to store my luggage upon checkout so I had to waste hours travelling to the bus station to leave it there
- Ben (9/5): Very nice flat, a bit noisy at times - The flat was very modern and comfortable. We liked the windows, the big TV, and the pool and gym. It's very loud due to the nearby open-air bar (Lote). It's fine once the bar shuts at about 11pm.
Also, entering the building is a pain, you need to give your name and apartment number to the receptionist every time, and they only speak Portuguese.
- Saulo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marcel (7/5): Great concept, difficult to get in - Central air,
Gym,
Pool with great view,
