Guest Reviews
- Manuel (1/5): A very frustrating and uncomfortable stay, especially due to poor conditions and lack of support from the host. - Unfortunately, there was very little to like. The location was acceptable, but that was the only positive aspect of our stay. The experience was very disappointing from the beginning. Our room was changed without any prior notice—we only found out after we raised a complaint. The owner then contacted us offering a very small and inadequate compensation, which did not reflect what we had originally booked. The new room was significantly smaller than expected, which was especially problematic as my wife is pregnant. The heating system was another major issue—the boiler could not be turned off, making the room unbearably hot. Opening the windows was not a solution either, as it became extremely cold. It was impossible to rest properly under these conditions. We raised these issues multiple times from day one, but they were never properly resolved. Overall, the accommodation was far below expectations, and the lack of proper support from the host made the situation worse.
- Lisa (8/5): - Spacious and private. Lots of everyday essentials to use for coffee and washing clothes for eg Nothing.
- Ramy (10/5): - Best location in London and the flat is perfect for this location. Definitely I will stay there again. The host is very nice

- JOSEBA ANDONI (5/5): -
- Emerentia (7/5): Good -
- Kamali (9/5): Superb -
- Graham (5/5): Satisfactory - Location and facilities Studio is in need of a refresh, mould round shower base, paintwork scuffed and generally tired.
- Martin (4/5): Not the room I booked - The picture was not the room on offer. In reality it was a fraction of the size, probably less than half indicated.
- Peter (1/5): Couldn’t get the key, so I left. Person in the phone handling my check in was incompetent. So I left and stayed elsewher - Price Couldn’t check in. I’d like my money back.
- Florin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Matthew (2/5): Very poor -
- Oliver (8/5): Very good -
- Ellen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Stephen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Guelord (7/5): The owner need to check his phone all the time when his runing business like this. - The audio okay it looks like in Europe everything are smaller, so we accept it that way. The studio owner can’t be reached even after being blocked because I didn’t have wife to check my message so that I can get the code for the key, I tried and got tired till today he never responded to my messages for calls.
- Louisa (1/5): I stayed somewhere else because I needed somewhere safe and quiet to sleep. I am still waiting for a refund of £85.50 - I have stayed at Chelsea Cloisters before - as a guest of the official hotel (not this private host). I would not book through this private host again. As soon as I had made the booking, an anonymous male messaged me on WhatsApp with check-in information. The property was advertised as having a private check-in which is fine. However, I was told (quite aggressively) that I was not allowed to contact the 24 hour security desk (which is listed as one of the services promoting the property) and that if I needed anything I should contact themselves (and not the desk). When I arrived at the studio, it was noisy with the sound of traffic, the window coverings were tatty, the budget furniture worn and it was not a comfortable place to stay. It certainly didn’t resemble the photos. I contacted the property to ask to cancel. I was told (aggressively) it was in the terms and conditions when I booked and I couldn’t have a refund. Even if I had been offered an alternative option on the call (I was contacted later with options via message) I would not have done so because the whole situation did not feel safe.
- I (10/5): Very good stay for decent money - Clean. Good location. Responsive staff. Induction didn’t work. No air conditioning
- Russell (7/5): A clean, small and basic studio great for short stays - The studio was small but clean and had everything you might need, such as a cooker and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, washing machine, some plates and cutlery and towels. The WiFi was strong and free.
There was even a bunch of roses for Mother’s Day in the room when we arrived which was a nice thought.
The studio is located within the Chelsea Cloisters Hotel with friendly staff on reception if you need them. There are lots of expensive gourmet-rated restaurants and cafes close by so you need to go slightly further afield to find eateries and pubs with more standard fayre . However, a Sainsbury’s Local and Starbucks are just a few minutes away. The biggest negative would be the fact that there is no TV in the studio. It would be great to have one.
The building is old (I understand) but there are a few areas which do need some urgent attention, in particular the window areas and the replacing of all the roller blinds.
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Valentina (2/5): Perfect for one night for the location - Location Cleaning, bedsheets were full of hair and no clean at all the toilet
- Simon (8/5): Very good -
