Guest Reviews
- Cristina (10/5): Me encanto la ubicación - Su ubicación, el tamaño Que no tuviera ascensor y la prisa del chico que nos esperaba que nos explico lo gusto
- Alberto (8/5): -
- Giorgi (8/5): -
- Chantel (6/5): - The location was amazing It started off on the wrong foot with the girl who did the check in rushing us from the airport as she had other places to be. Didn’t even bother explaining anything. Tried to ask for cash
The stairs are very difficult and there was no warning about them. The lights upstairs don’t work. Resulting in leaving things behind as we left in the dark. The Matress is just foam upstairs and the place was dusty with very bad smell in the bathroom. One towel and one toilet roll for 4 days considering the price of the flat I wouldn’t stay here again.
- Pete (8/5): Great accommodations in a very good location. - The apartment was perfect for our stay with very modern decor, relaxing atmosphere and very close to many tourist attractions. There is a grocery store less than 50 meters away and some very good places to eat within a 5 minute walk. Every night we were there a man would start shouting things in Italian starting around 11pm and would last hours into the night. The sounds on the street echo from very far and definitely kept us up a few nights. I was also surprised about a city tax that needed to be collected upon transfer of the apartment keys. This had to be paid in cash or no keys? Felt like a scam.
- Joanna (10/5): I will come back. It was great to stay there - It’s location is perfect, everything is so close, the size of the place and the responsiveness of people managing the apartment It is a little bit noisy as windows are simple glass and a bit old
- Igor (4/5): Needs renovation - Dirty showers
Bad smell Had to get to
- Vladimir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stanislav (9/5): We spent nice holiday in Lorenzo's appartment - Very good and responsive host Lorenzo. The flat was clean and there were everything you need for comfortable staying. Wifi was perfect. Nice internal design, central location. Noisy in the morning in the master bedroom, other bedrooms are quiet
- Ran (8/5): We liked it, especially the location and that it is a real 3 bedroom - Second time in this apartment.
Pros:
- Location is 10! We couldn’t find a better location than this, close to all attractions (5 to 30 min walk you can eeach any landmark or attract, including trevi, coliseum, monti, vatican, spanish steps…).
- Nice setting and spacious (rare 3 bedrooms)
- looks like in the pictures
- Great WiFi
- Plenty of restaurants in 3 min walking radius
- Supermarket 1 min away
Cons:
- Tough stairs. For us it was less of an issue, but not fit for older / unfit / disabled people.
- Old door key, should upgrade to keyless system.
- Main Bedroom window not sound proof, old, street noise comes in.
- Cavit (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent service. Lorenzo was always helping and responding very fast. Thank yolu so much. The house is very large and very comfortable. Location is super. 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms for this price is unbeliavable. We had a very very nice stay.
- Linda (8/5): Very good - The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere to see the main sights as well as discover restaurants along the way. There was no lift in the apartment block. However, we managed .
- Gustavo (6/5): Pleasant - Very well-decorated apartment, functional and comfortable. The location is very good, near Via del Corso. Many issues were solved by the host, such as a set of towels was missing at the beginning, but it was provided later. The floor was heated (?) Many stairs are not suitably stated in the description.
The host duly replied to my messages, but as soon as the check-out time arrived, immediately stopped responding as some luggage problems arose: the host could only keep our luggage until our flight time if the apartment was not occupied. Which did not happen. Of course, it is not a problem for the host, anyway.
Some items were missing, such as soap for dishes and for the laundry machine (that was available). A microwave would also be important.
- Stephen (9/5): Great apartment, lots of space for a group travelling together and fantastic location. - Really nice apartment. Superb location, close to all attractions and restaurants It's on the top floor, which was preferable for us, but someone with mobility issues may struggle.
- Alan (10/5): A Great Location with good facilities - Its central location is perfect to experience all Rome has to offer , its incredible history, shopping and dining, from street cafes to fine dining is all within easy walking distance.
The Host is so helpful with excellent communication and does everything possible to ensure you have an enjoyable experience. If any of your party have mobility issues it’s a top floor flat and the stairs may be a problem.
- Emily (4/5): Good location. But certainly not “luxury”. There’s probably better options. - Positives are the aircon works well. Beds are comfortable. And location is central. There's quite a few things in disrepair in this apartment. Many of the lights do not work. The shared bathroom has black mould on the ceiling. The shower is missing a handle on the faucet and the hand held shower is missing the cap on the head. The sink doesn’t drain well and is not secure to the vanity (it wobbles). The door handle on the master ensuite is not secure and ready to fall off. The overhead shower head in the master ensuite needs replacement as it is not functional. There was no coffee tea sugar etc provided at all. It would be nice if there was some basics like oil too, especially as this is an apartment with a kitchen. Live electrical wires are exposed in the kitchen. Dining chairs are in disrepair and almost broken. Cutlery draw will not shut properly and the living room cannot accomodate 5 people as the couch is too small - they need some armchairs.
- Guy (8/5): The perfect location - Amazing location. A short walk to most of Rome's notable places of interest. Host was very helpful when we needed him. The stairs to get up to the apartment are quite a challenge if you have bad knees like me. Expect it to be quite noisy in the mornings as businesses open. Couldn't pick up any English news channels on TV..
- Claire (9/5): Superb - Great location, spacious apartment for our family of 5 adults. Great to have a washing machine. Stefano who checked us on n was great. There are a lot of stairs up the apartment. Wasn’t a hassle for us.
- Harshneet (4/5): 4th Floor apartment, not worth the price! - The location was superb. Apartment was furnished. Host was responsive. The mattresses were comfortable. The advertisement of the property did not mention that the apartment was on the 4th Floor in a building with no elevator and very high and narrow steps without railings. We could only do up and down once in the entire day. The apartment was missing some vitals like a microwave, tissue towels, initial couple of pods for the coffee machine, and basic cleaning wipes in the kitchen etc. The basin drain in the master bathroom was clogged. There were no instructions on how do dispose off the garbage during our five day stay.
- Aija (8/5): Very good - The apartment has a great location, you can walk to all typical touristic attraction points from it. The flat is large, comfortable, with unique design. Rooms are cozy and beds are comfortable. If you stay with large group of people (including child) for many days there are all necessary devices that you may need in the kitchen and the bathrooms. The owner of the flat was very helpful and quickly offered to solve unexpected problems with the transfer: airport - city center. The apartment floor wasn't clean.
- Megan (9/5): Large apartment in great location. - The location was amazing! Close to the metro and to many popular attractions in Rome. Getting around from the property was super easy. The space was also large giving our family of 5 plenty of space to spread out. The host were helpful in dealing with a key issue we had for the main door, even bringing it to us while at dinner. The master bedroom was noisy during the night, ear plugs definitely help mute out some of the noise. The other bedrooms though are very quiet.
- Colleen (8/5): Loved everything. Only complaint is blurred lines between air BnB and booking.com. Fresh towels and toilet paper were me - Location , space, facilities, 3 brm x 2 bathroom with a dryer and balcony. Ticked all the boxes. That we were told after 5 days if we wanted fresh towels there would be a charge and we needed to buy our own toilet paper. This is booking dot com not air BnB.
- Leigh (7/5): A great base to spend a few days in central Rome. - The location, the available facilities and the overall comfort of the premises. Coffee machine, fridge/freezer, everything you need for your stay. Very convenient supermarket and easy access to all Rome's wonderful sites via walking, bus and metro. The noise in the very early morning from the busy road below. May be possible to install secondary glazing? Doesn't spoil the property tho'.
- Amit (10/5): Exceptional - Lorenzo is amazing!! We answered for everything we asked and much more!!! Amazing location 10/10 we had so much fun and the beds are so comfortable!
- Tracey (8/5): Very good - Location was fantastic! Air conditioner was perfect during the very hot summer. Beds were really comfortable. We Liked everything but if you didn’t know about the stairs.. it may have been a bit challenging!
- Vito (7/5): Good -
- Lisa (7/5): Good - great location and the place was cute and cozy bathrooms need updating and much better cleaning. the whole place could be a bit cleaner
- Sigalit (8/5): Very good - Excellent location, spacious and nicely decorated
,we didnt cook but kitchen is fully equipped At the entrance of the building there are many strais, 51 stairs to be exact. Between 6 am and 8 am in the morning it was noisy in the master bedroom due to unsealed windows,
- Hannah (5/5): Great location, not bad for the money but prob wouldn’t choose to stay again. - Great central location. was on top floor of block with very steep stairs, poor lighting in stairwell. Was not the cleanest, kitchen utensils and facilities not great, kettle was dirty and unusable. we didn’t end up eating in the apartment due to this. second double bedroom is up very steep wooden steps so not good for small children. Good value for the money we paid and location.
- Katerina (4/5): if it wasn’t for the noise outside, I’d say I was happy - the appartment had 2 bathrooms and 3 bedroom which was great! the stairs in the building were terrible!!!!
every single morning crazy noise downstairs from 5.30-6.30 am cause of the breaking glass or loading and unloading stuff from the supermarket. I did not sleep properly for 4 nights
- Silverio (1/5): gross - convenient location incredibly dirty for the price…very disappointing
- Fathi (3/5): Poor - location, staff members were friendly and cooperative, they helped carrying our luggage up the stairs to our appointment as there’s no elevator, and we were offered early check in. the apartment was really dirty and smelly. the bed sheets are stained and there were bed bugs. i had to wash the dishes and cookware before using them because they were greasy! the tea cup had lipstick trace on it. Also the dish scraper was so smelly and moldy.
- Alhajeri (9/5): Superb - Location and size of the apartment No lifts and too many stairs to reach.
- Eva (10/5): The best apartment to stay in while in Rome, close to everything and Lorenzo the owner were fantastic - Everything!!!! The owner was amazing, very welcoming, informative, always in touch, did so many favours for us, apartment is amazing, spacious, has everything and more what you need,it's in very posh area close to everything to all main attractions, small supermarket next to it,the best local bar& restaurant 1 minute away called Bar Gambero and staff there are Angels!! So nice and funny and welcoming omg nothing to fault!!💞❤️🙏😍 There was absolutely nothing we didn't like😁
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Lorenzo was really helpful and the apartment was perfect - lots of space, clean and great location
- Anonymous (8/5): modern, affordable, and conviently located place to stay in Rome - location, price main room showers were a bit dirty and had what appeared to be black mold. rooms were a bit small, AC took a while to cool off in the main rooms and living area but the AC in the upstairs space was very bad & didn’t cool regularly or quickly
