- Leanne (10/5): A really peaceful and very comfortable stay in a lovely location. - A really peaceful and very comfortable stay in a lovely location. The hosts are lovely, and the animals are super friendly and fun to feed in the morning.
- Alain (6/5): -
- Dwayne (10/5): -
- Judy-Ann (7/5): - I liked the location, the eclectic furnishings and feeding the ducks. The duck droppings just outside the door and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.
- Janine (9/5): Delightful, natural, peaceful place to recharge - Just beautiful with friendly creatures visiting. Comfy bed. Beautiful vintage decor. Big windows in to nature.
- Moana (7/5): Loved the land we stayed on, it’s absolutely gorgeous - Amazing experience with the animals. Hosts were helpful. Beautiful property. Good idea that air conditioning was added as it was very much needed. The plates/ cutlery/ glasses and cooking equipment could easily be transferred to an open shelf as there is a lot of spare space for it inside the shed and opening the chest of drawers isn’t convenient as the glasses fall down and roll around. Also perhaps consider a roof or awning in front of the entrance as the morning sun absolutely smashes the shed
- Claire (9/5): Lovely stay in a beautiful part of NSW - Lovely setting and the animals were a delight
- WENDI (10/5): Peaceful and tranquil away from the hustle and bustle highly recommended - The tranquility, the hosts were absolutely wonderful.
The place was absolutely beautiful 😍 The entrance bifold door
- Toni (8/5): Lovely place to unwind but also close to town if you need anything. Loved the animals. - Loved the environment and the note the owners left us to let us know about the property and animals. Plenty of resources e.g books, games, DVD's etc. Would have liked a small table inside to eat at.
- Debney (9/5): -
- Coady (10/5): - The eclectic style. It felt majestic.
It also felt particularly safe to me as a solo female traveller. The only thing 3 little things I didn't see (but that could be my own failure to see them) was a mini milk, fly spray and an old dust pan/brush.
- Susan (9/5): -
- Maria (10/5): -
- Alyssa (9/5): - A lovely cosy room with the best part being all the animals who come to greet you! The fire was a lovely addition.
- gillian (10/5): Would visit again - Great view of farm and visits by animals
Considerate hosts who switched on outside lights when we were late. A great stay.
- Tessa (10/5): A magical countryside escape full of charm, comfort, and cuddly animals — an unforgettable stay! - One of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. A truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience! I stopped here for the night during my road trip from Byron Bay back to the Gold Coast, and I’m so glad I did. It was the perfect place to rest, recharge, and soak in a bit of countryside magic.
On the day of my stay, the owner messaged me with clear instructions in case they weren’t there when I arrived, which made things super easy. But when I got there, they were waiting to greet me, gave me a warm welcome and a little tour of the property. They were so lovely and kind. You could really feel how much love and care goes into the place.
The tiny shed itself was immaculate! Spotlessly clean and full of charm and character. The bed was insanely comfortable, with an extra warm doona and the fluffiest pillows. It felt like a luxury escape in the middle of nature.
The highlight for me was definitely the animals. I had so much fun getting to pat and feed them. It added such a unique and joyful element to the stay. Just a heads-up: if you’re not a fan of birds, this might not be the place for you, as there are quite a few and they’re super excited at first! But they did calm down and eventually just lazed about, which was really peaceful to watch.
The property itself was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset. I had a quiet night enjoying the firepit and there was plenty of firewood provided along with all the equipment you’d need to get it going. I also used the BBQ and had a lovely, peaceful evening under the stars. There’s very little phone reception, but they’ve thought of everything – a TV and DVD player with movies provided made it such a fun, cozy night in.
Honestly, I couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s full of personality, comfort, and care. I’ll absolutely be staying again next time I’m in the area!
- Anita (10/5): Such an amazing experience! - My 10 year old daughter and I went for a short getaway and it was soo much fun. Toasting marshmallows around the fire pit, playing with and feeding all the animals was amazing!
Super comfy bed, beautifully decorated room with everything you need and such lovely hosts.
There was even a new born lamb we got to cuddle with. There wasn’t anything to not like.

- Sean (9/5): Had a great time, perfect location close to lots of nature walks. My Daughter loved the animals. - Met on arrival by the host, and Location and animals were amazing. no air con, but it wasnt too bad.
- Carly (9/5): Lovely, quiet, homely escape to the fresh air of the country - Jon greeted us as we arrived and showed us around the tiny home, and introduced us to the animals. There was a container of food for us to feed the sheep, chickens, roosters and ducks which was a lot of fun. the home was cosy, clean and quiet. Cute little finishes within and around the home, which added to the farm vibe. It was a lovely escape from Brisbane city to such a peaceful place. We enjoyed the rooster's good morning call and the funny little animals congregating at the door knowing we had food to share with them. Jon was lovely enough to mow the lawn of the steep hill so that my son could ride down it on a surfboard. He loved it! Perhaps a small table and chairs inside to sit and eat. A little more bench space near the outdoor sink and BBQ would be great.
- Cheryl (8/5): Very good -
- James (8/5): It was great just a few easily fixed little things. - Location staff and animals. Probably needed a small table inside and better bbq prep area. Sharp knife tongs etc.plug didn’t fit sink
