- Yael (4/5): no hanger in the closet says it all. - The neighbourhood is nice and quiet. In reality this is not an apartment: It is more like a garage of kind or an entry hall (no windows, beside the glass front) converted into an apartestudio with a fitted kitchen front. Btw: there is no washing machine.
The place is okay, if you need a roof over your head, a bed to sleep in and a TV. But there is not a lot of heart in the place, it's about making the money and nothing more. There is plenty of small points I would criticize, mainly because I think it would just need a little more effort to improve those aspects:
- There is no mosquito net. The host said, that they spray the apartment against mosquitos (which by the way I am not a fan of!), but fact was, that there were plenty of mosquitos, which resulted in many bites. A net could easily prevent that.
- The kitchen is equipped absolutely minimal: not even salt is there. I am a host myself, and I know that every second guest leaves a kilo of salt, even when you already have salt in the apartment. It is a mystery to me, why a host shouldn't be able to provide that. There is an oven, but it is disconnected and there is no extension cable to connect it, so you can't use it. Which means that in reality there is no oven to use in the apartment.
- There is an annoying curtain covering the entry door: every time you leave, open and close the door, it gets stuck in between the doorframe. This even happened to the owner herself during the check-in, so it wasn't me mishandling it or something. It also shows that she must be aware of this hindering circumstance and didn't change it so far, something I expect from a host. (Especially because she got angry with me regarding it being stuck when I left in a hurry for the airport. If the curtain would not get stuck EVERY TIME one leaves in the first place, she would not have to get angry.)
- There is no bedside lamp. I like to read in bed.
