- Kim (1/5): UNFIT FOR HUMAN HABITATION - A RAT INFESTATION The owners were aware they had a rat infestation before we arrived, and still allowed us to check in, knowing we had a 10 month old baby. The apartment was UNFIT FOR HABITATION. Once we saw evidence of said vermin in the kitchen, and rat droppings in the living room area, the owners came down to put pellets down, which they already had, as they knew there was vermin in the apartment. Charmingly, we could hear the poison being eaten :((((( It was too late for us to find alternative accommodation that night, so spent our evening cleaning & washing down the floors & then a constant check to ensure the vermin didn’t go near my sleeping grandson. So after a dreadful night of worry, we found alternative accommodation & moved out. The owners have refused to reimburse us for our stay, telling us to go through the complaints department of booking.com. Absolutely dreadful, upsetting experience, not to mention the upheaval of moving us all out and into a new apartment.

Welcoming, informative, and very helpful- knowing where to eat to taxi drivers being available for short or long trips. The biggest downside was we didn’t stay long enough to enjoy all that was on offer! Next time The taxi not getting me there the first time.

There was nothing not to like about this location. The apartment was absolutely stunning, the hosts made us for extremely welcome and the place is really pretty.

Waterside with a lovely pool. 3 good sized bedrooms and bathrooms The property is great but the bathrooms and furnishing are a little tired.
