• Lauren (2/5): Avoid - plain and simple. - The only good thing about this property is the location. Being so close to the beach was incredible. But other than that. This was a disappointment I rarely write bad reviews, but this warrants it. Unfortunately, this property didn't live up to the expectations. While the outside of the property is beautiful, the inside is not so much. The smell of dampness and mildew was overwhelming from the moment we entered the property. To that effect, we had to open every single window and door for hours to make it comfortable. This house shouldn't be rented out until the height of Summer. The spring evenings were very cold, and the lack of heating in the evenings was difficult and required a lot of layering. The house provided two heaters, but only one really worked, and it didn't heat the room effectively. The cleanliness of the property wasn't where it should be. The kitchen required much wiping and cleaning before we could use it. The oven was filthy, and the fridge door was sticky. Unacceptable in my opinion. If you have a dust allergy, I can assure you that this is not the place to stay. After one night, I launched into a sneeze attack due to the amount of dust in each of the rooms. And while we could have left and made other accommodation arrangements, our plans were all surrounding being in this exact location for the two nights, so we couldn't move. Overall I'm disappointed. When we booked there were no reviews available. It was only when we got on the plane did I see the one other review made, and I completely agreed with everything they said. A shame for a property that has so much potential in a gorgeous location.
• Alena (4/5): Stunning views but missing cleanliness. - The apartment is located very nicely and has stunning views over the sea and a nice terrace The cleanliness in the apartment didn't meet our standards. There is no vacuum cleaner in the apartment which reflects the cleanliness of the floors. they were as clean as they can get with a broom. Cleanliness of the bed and bathroom was ok. All cutleries, glasses and cooking material that we used was not clean. In one of the pots was a dead bug. The apartment has no proper possibility to heat or cool. We came early April so it was too cold. There is only a tiny radiator that couldn't heat even one room properly. There are also no proper blankets to stay warm during the night. Our host gave us the information that it is a summer house and therefore likely cold the day before we arrived. If the house is not suitable in the colder months they probably should not offer it during this period. Because of the temperature we aborted our stay after one night. To be fair we didn't ask our host to fix it. The water in the kitchen was only dripping. In the bath the water had proper pressure. The interior is worn down and often rusty but still kind of ok. Given the price of 200€ per night the overall experience was really disappointing. On top of that as in the advertisement stated there is no WiFi, which nowadays should be standard.
