• Mark (10/5): Fijn centraal gelegen appartement van fijne verhuurders om de regio te verkennen. - Alles is aanwezig. Goede bedden. Voldoende handdoeken en kookgerief. Heel fijne en snelle communicatie. Supermarkt Rewe en een Bakker Peter op zeer korte afstand. Er is voldoende gratis parkeerplaats in de omgeving op straat. De tram stopt voor de deur. In deze koude periode ook goed te verwarmen. Wij kwamen er graag in thuis. Er is geen oven, maar geen probleem want die hadden we niet nodig. Er is wel een microgolfoven. Je moet je spullen wel tot op de tweede verdieping kunnen dragen. Was ook geen probleem voor ons. Dus voor ons viel niets tegen.

• Thomas (10/5): Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in super Lage, kommen gerne wieder. - Sehr schöne Einrichtung, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Supermarkt, Bäcker und mehrere Restaurants in der Nähe. Straßenbahnhaltestelle direkt vor dem Haus, Parkplätze gab es genug an der Strasse.

• Heike (10/5): Ein gelungener Aufenthalt, der noch lange nachwirkt. - Einfach eine rundum tolle Unterkunft. Sehr nette Vermieter, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Appartment, sehr sauber, alles vorhanden, was man für einen 5 Tagetrip benötigt.
• Kathleen (10/5): Exceptional Apartment - Check in and out was very efficient. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment is very spacious and is beautifully decorated. Situated in a lovely area of Essen with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and a beautiful park 10 minutes walk away.

• Patrick (9/5): Tolle Unterkunft - Wunderschöne Wohnung, perfekt gelegen an einem tollen Wald und direkt an einer Tram-Station. In 8min ist man am Hauptbahnhof und eine große Auswahl an Restaurants ist um die Ecke Ein Backofen wär für mich noch gut gewesen, leider war für mich nicht klar ersichtlich, dass keiner vorhanden ist.
• Petra (10/5): An extraordinary, homely, fully equipped place for real pleasant stay, not just the "sleep and go". - Everyone is used to the fact that typical property photos always look better than the real thing. Wide lens angles, carefully rearranged objects to create a feel of different places... Well, you can forget about that in this case. Everything in the photos is real and to be honest, doesn't tell even half the story. Large, spacious apartment that could easily fit a smaller army platoon, pleasant, quiet, homely feel with statues and pictures decorating every room, this is not the "San Francisco bridge landscapes" and "LIVE LOVE TRAVEL" motivational posters you get to see in other places, neither the lowest effort IKEA furnishing screaming "just finish your sleep quicky and head out for your business". Access to a balcony with pleasant outdoor seating, flawless heating inside (you're not even going to use half of the scale), fully equipped kitchen and assortment of necessities that make you feel more like being at home than staying in a foreign place. Actually scratch that, my own house doesn't even feel this good and isn't prepared, equipped and usually even clean like this. Do you want to return after a day outside, shop a bit around and perhaps have some steaks? Yes, there is a pan available. And the microwave oven, and the toaster if you're more into those. And by the bathroom that could compete in size with actual hotel bedrooms, I think you may be getting some idea about how all of this feels. The not-so-central placement may not be for everyone (did you check the parks on the map?), but with ~40 minutes walking distance to the Essen Hbf and just about 15 minutes walk to the nearby U-Bahn station, what is there to complain about. You can shop for food and ingredients just a short stroll right out of the entrance, if you want a dedicated bakery, it's right there over the corner too.
