Andre (7/5): es war ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub - Die Lage ist Top. Wohung mit seinen großen Fenstern sehr hell und auch für 4 Personen sehr geräumig. Küche super ausgestattet, alles da was man brauch. Gaskamin ist bestimmt eine feine Sache wenn es kalt ist (nur ausprobiert) Sauberkeit war nicht überall gegeben-Haare im Gäste WC, Glasscherben Küchenboden, Blutfleck in der Bettwäsche. Nur ein Handtuch pro Person, in einem Schlafzimmer nur ein abgeschlossener Schrank (nicht zu nutzen)und keine Schalter am Bett(umständlich). Bad für beide Schlafzimmer zur Nutzung ist ok, aber nicht zum Abschließen(man muss sich sehr gut mögen) Türen im Bad öffnen sich gegenseitig beim Schließen der anderen, da der Verschluß nicht richtig eingestellt ist. Es wird überall auf Ruhe hingewiesen, aber dann sollte man die Türen alle mal einstellen und vorallem mal Dichtungsgummis anbringen. Anleitung zum starten des Kamines ist in der Beschreibung falsch - richtig so wie auf der Fernbedienung, lange drücken!
E (7/5): Good - Booked this apartment for the Togo sofas from Ligne Roset! The apartment was also tastefully furnished and had a spacious living room and dining area. Hidden fees. The host had initially required us to pay a non-refundable deposit to insure against potential damages to the apartment on a third-party website. I was given the false choice of choosing either a damage waiver for the price of 35€, or to put on hold a deposit of 350€ with a non-refundable service fee of 7€. In any case, I was required to pay a non-refundable service fee to the third-party website for a service I had not requested. I can see from the host's perspective to insure their apartment against damage, but surely this could have been done in more respectful way that demonstrates trust in guests. Thankfully, after raising the issue to the host and to Booking.com, she kindly waived the fees. Beds in the second room were rather tight and more like kids beds (as other reviews have mentioned). A word of caution: the floors are alarmingly thin. This more of a building flaw. But the extent is concerning. A frazzled neighbour who lived directly below the apartment had come up to complain that she could hear us "dragging furniture around" -- we were not doing any of this, we were walking to the kitchen to clear the dishes, and walking quietly too (following the rules in the guide). Just a note of caution if you are having dinner late into the night. You literally have to tip-toe around so you don't disturb the neighbours.
