- Kevin (9/5): Well-appointed. Well-located. Well-curated. Well-cared for - Excellently set-up for a couple or solo visit to Bathurst. Private. Well-located. Character. Have stayed there several times and is our go to when we visit Bathurst. All good
- Tracy (9/5): Superb - Lovely cozy old world charm 🥰
- Kylie (10/5): An perfect respite tucked away. - Quiet location and set back off the street, this was like stepping into a little historical sheltered grove. A simple space has been given a gorgeous aesthetic to make it feel welcoming and comfortable.

- Penny (9/5): A lovely experience . Will recommend. - Quirky but delightfully renovated. Heating not quite adequate .
- Amy (10/5): Comfortable, cosy and I would stay again - The cottage was comfortable, cosy and just what was needed for two people. The different living areas were great as we could use the different spaces for work and rest. The off street parking was great. And the location was lovely. I loved the way the place was decorated. The bed was so comfortable. And there was free wi-fi and chocolates! The lighting on the path could be better, just so I could see the bumps! This did not impact my stay at all! Other then that small piece of feedback, there was nothing I did not like!
- Beth (9/5): Perfect stay , lovely little cottage - Clean , cosy
- Nicole (10/5): Loved it and can’t wait to get back. - It is just stunning, so comfortable. It’s too far to walk to the pub.
- Colin (9/5): Good location and price -
- Mark (8/5): A very good experience to stay in a well renovated, characterful unit. - The unit was very old but had been renovated to a very high standard. The weather was very cold but the unit did not have adequate heating to give it that really cosy ambience. Kitchen facilities were cramped but adequate for a one-night stopover. However, despite some small deficiencies we both enjoyed our stay.
- Keryn (8/5): Very good -
- Bernard (8/5): Very good -
- Gary (10/5): Tamarisks - The property had a lot of charm. The decor was outstanding. The accommodation was clean with good quality appliances. We had no complaints.
- Marie (6/5): Very short - We didn’t get any breakfast. The Aircon didn’t warm the whole area, so very cold Bedroom needs to be in lounge and lounge needs to be in bedroom
Better outside lighting

- John (8/5): Charming historic house - A building with lots of character and friendly hosts, well equipped with everything we needed. A great place to stop on a long road trip. We didn't realise that access to one bedroom was through the other - not a big deal, but perhaps something better to make clear up front.
- Angus (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (10/5): Quiet and Comfortable - Very comfortable and clean with everything I needed for a home away from home. Lovely quiet location.
- Cheryl (10/5): Lovely spot. - The cottage was very cute. We loved the history of the building, the quirky bits, the fireplace, and the way it has been brought back to life. The bed was comfy, and the area was quiet. It had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The bathroom was small but had everything you needed. Could have done with a/c or a fan as it was quite warm. The TV wasn't working, couldn't get free to air or pay channels.
- Anonymous (9/5): Rustic clean comfortable good facilities - A character building with everything we needed to be comfortable, cook food & sit outside in the garden. Walking distance to coffee shop & short drive to CBD while being tucked away from the busy areas. Upstairs bedrooms with toilet downstairs which may be difficult at night for some customers.
- Phil (8/5): Very good -
- Dominic (10/5): Delightful stay in a really novel setting; We’d love to return. - Private and charming residence created by beautifully renovating an old stable. Coffee machine!! 🌟 New appliances. Parking at the door. Easy entrance procedure. Cosy too! Loved it really! Visitors with mobility issues just need to note that the bedrooms are upstairs and the toilet/bathroom are downstairs on the entry level.
- Eric (1/5): Not ever again - Good internet and good bathroom lighting Most things. It was damp and smelly. Poor location. Basically a shed at the back of someone’s house.
- Stacey (8/5): Very good -
- Cmt (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Great accommodation, something a bit different, we had a great time. -
- Wayne (8/5): Enjoyable - Quaint and well appointed. The layout is as good as can be achieved with limited space. Genuine Stables complete with feed trough but very well renovated and comfortable. Parking difficult for my RAM truck. Driveway too narrow. Bathroom downstairs and had to pass through a bedroom to get to it.
- Suzanne (10/5): Fabulous; great care is taken to presentation and to ensure our needs are taken care of for our stay - Loved this little cottage; it was a great layout, great location, very comfortable, and the welcome treats were very much appreciated. We would expect a big increase in cost due to Bathurst 1000 being on so it was not over the top considering what other venues were charging but of course we did not like to pay that much either. Having said that we can see the usual cost per night and I would definitely head back for a getaway and would consider the pricing very reasonable in off peak.
- Sue (9/5): Excellent - There was no Breakfast .... All Good
- Leonard (10/5): Excellent location a first class accommodation. - Great accommodation, will book again if we return to Bathurst. Nothing
- Malika (10/5): Exceptional - All of facility. TV , bathroom , kitchen items, room and bed and others Nothing
- Liza (8/5): Great! So much nicer than a boring motel room - Quirky, loved the history of the place There was no kettle to boil water, which would have been handy to fill thermos. If the gardens had been in good shape I would have given it a 10/10
- Sally (9/5): Superb - We stayed in the one bedroom cottage. This is a lovely property with character and charm, with everything you need for a short stay. Very peaceful location in quiet part of town. Dominique and Lauren were very accommodating and helpful. Heater could be stronger for cold nights!
- Redha (10/5): Would book again 100% - Extremely clean and perfectly organized
- Antony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (9/5): Superb - Lovely heritage property, centrally located with very comfy bed.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Neil (5/5): Quaint but not suitable to older people. - Quaint building in garden surroundings. Reasonably quiet. The 2 bedrooms on the upper floor where not separated by a full wall. You had to go through one bedroom to get to the other. The stairs to the bedrooms were relatively steep and difficult for older people. One bathroom on ground floor making it difficult to access from upstairs bedroom.
- Sanjay (10/5): Value for money and wonderful experience. - Comfortable and all facilities mentioned were accessible.
- Miriam (9/5): Superb - Lovely, spacious and unique accommodation. The heating was on when we arrived and the hosts were friendly but not invasive.
- Mick (8/5): Very good -
- Mikkel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Donald (10/5): Exceptional - I liked the theme of the stables, and the newly renovated building. Everything was perfect, and we all loved it, do yourself a favour and stay here!
- Wendy (7/5): Good -
- Shakira (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bryan (10/5): Just perfect, great central location. Accommodation facilities were exceptional - The Stables were really comfortable, clean and well laid out. It was great to get home each day from visiting around the areas to come home to a warming environment Nothing all was great
- Jesika (10/5): Exceptional -
- Matt (9/5): Superb - Lovely old building that has been lovingly restored into a split level apartment. Some lovely old original features add to the quaintness. Well decked out kitchen, and a washing machine in the bathroom.

- Air (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (8/5): It was really good for one night stay. - Digital key log was easy and safe for the client. Quiet location. House keep clean and simple. Only 1 thing was a little difficulty for us, to operate the cooking top. I like to see the guide can show how to use the cooking top.
- Geoff (9/5): Great location, unique property, overall clean and very comfortable - The shower was awesome! nice and hot, big wide spray of water and clean. bed was also super comfy. the squeaky staircase makes it almost impossible to not wake your partner at night when nature calls.
