Nikkila (1/5): Booking cancelled without confirmation - We didn’t get to stay because our booking was cancelled without our knowledge. The booking was confirmed and paid for, access info received the week of via message, yet we arrived and there were other people in the house. Phone calls to the property manager were sent to voicemail, eventually received a text saying she had cancelled our booking weeks prior and the house was no longer available (despite my active and confirmed booking). No solution provided. Our group of 9 were stranded late on a Friday night as we are not from the GC. Took me 4 hours of phone calls to booking.com to find somewhere else for us to stay, and weeks of follow up to get our refund. Extremely stressful experience. If you book this house, contact the property manager personally to ensure you don’t end up in the same situation.
