Guest Reviews
- Jake (1/5): Bad -
- Jennifer (4/5): Disappointing - Just didn’t feel clean. Rat trap right outside the room door. Bed was so small and uncomfortable. TV didn’t work.
- Mark (8/5): Very good -
- Sonia (7/5): Had a great weekend away! - The location is great with easy access to tubes, buses, main railway station and easy walking to many great spots in London. The WiFi was good enough to work from there and the apartment good for two people. It’s also quiet which is great in central London and there are good pubs and eateries nearby. The hosts were very responsive too when we couldn’t get the WiFi to work at first.
If you look on maps for the place to get the keys from, it might say that it’s closed but it isn’t
And it was easy to pick up the keys The bed probably needs a new mattress and the sofa bed needed more bedding and was a little uncomfortable.
- Miriam (4/5): It was ok for one night - Spacious in the main lounge and convenient It wasn’t clean - mold was in the shower room & missing parts ect
Toilet door didn’t lock as well as shower
Beds were awful
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Carolyn (6/5): Marylebone flat - Handy to Marylebone station Not in Mayfair as described. Older flat with older bed, couch very uncomfortable. Toilet tiny, bathroom access through bedroom
- Erin (10/5): Wonderful and great space - Lovely apartment, excellent location and easy access
- Llewella (1/5): Avoid avoid avoid a dangerous company to book with! - We were left stranded in the middle of London after 31 attempt phone calls we couldn’t get hold of hosts. The key code we were given was incorrect. The hosts refused to answer the phone or email back to any queries after spending hours trying to find out where we were going to stay.(missing our dinner reservation.) my phone died and I was unable to contact anyone about my stay. refused refund as they sent a new key collection at 11.30 pm !! Left us in a very dangerous situation in the city. Tried to contact several times for a refund refusing to get back to me with an answer.
- Xinxin (8/5): Overall, my experience was positive, with a great location, and a thoughtful resolution to the check - The apartment is in a great location, close to the railway station and underground, yet still quiet and peaceful.
The apartment is in a great location, close to the railway station and underground, yet still quiet and peaceful.
There was a check-in issue that made arrival a bit stressful, but the Londwell Group team was very responsive and personally handed me the key, which I really appreciated. They also refunded part of the hotel fee as a goodwill gesture, which was a thoughtful touch.
Overall, a positive experience with great customer service. Thank you!
- Jo (5/5): Adequate accommodation - property tired and poorly maintained. - Excellent ,location The whole apartment was very tatty tired and un-maintained.
- Samantha (5/5): Passable -
- Sian (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect to Marylebone Station, very quiet location. Very clean however did have a ‘locked up’ smell. Plenty of room for the 3 of us that visited for a Christmas trip to London. Coffee machine was an added bonus.
- Darren (7/5): It was fine, picking up keys and dropping off at a dicey store isn’t very pleasant - Good location, parking is terrible. YOU WILL GET FINED
GUESTS MUST PARK CAR IN UNDERGROUND NEARBY 28 pound a day Not informed about parking
- Alex (5/5): High hopes… disappointed - Easy to contact the company/property company. Some utensils supplied including ironing board and iron. Supposedly able to sleep 4 adults, this definitely is not the case - x2 futon beds advertised to house the other 2 adults to which there is one futon and one camp bed! Also needs updating, some messy fixes have been done. Heating was very hit and miss with some radiators leaking.
- Donna (2/5): Very poor - Location.
Clean flat. There was no heating for the three nights that we stayed and it was freezing.
- Joshua (7/5): Good - Location was very good, local to public transport. Staff were quick to respond and offer any help if needed. Easy too find and pick up the keys. The double bed needs upgrading, not very comftorble and the sofa bed is quite misleading, quite small and very uncomfortable. If was upgraded, It would be a lot more comfortable.
- Lucy (6/5): Pleasant - Location After traveling for a long time and getting in late, as a family 4 the room was only prepared for 2! There was a clean and ready to go double bed, but there were no sheets or pillowcases to use for my children on the sofa and z bed and only 2 towels! We were not impressed.
- Lisanne (3/5): Had a great trip, but the beds were disappointing and the host was not so helpfull. - The location was perfectly close to several underground stations.
There is a supermarket within 5 minute walk. We tried to reach out for our host, because we couldn't find the linen and asked for it. The answer was simply to look harder.
You can't rent a 4 person appartment with one 2-person bed, one very uncomfortable sleeping couch (which will tilt if you turn in your sleep) and one very uncomfortable back stretcher.
- Katerina (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable stay in central London - The location was absolutely perfect, right in the heart of Mayfair, making it easy to explore all the nearby attractions. The apartment was clean, stylish, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was also very welcoming and responsive, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy London!
- Nazia (7/5): Good -
- Marie (6/5): needs a revamp .. - The location of the apartment is ideal, and there is a charming pub just a few steps away. Overall, the apartment is lovely, although it does show some signs of wear and tear. However, it is important to remember that this is a rental property. Plug sockets not working, can't put plugs into wall as they have been placed so close to floor didn't understand why they needed so many glass tables in lounge? My opinion they are accident risk. Bath very slippery, the seal round bath is extremely dirty covered in mould. The sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable 😑. Overall perfect location.
- Alexandra (4/5): Definitely not recommendable - The location is perfect (quiet, easily accessible, nice restaurants nearby, bus and tube walking distance) The apartment is far away from being stylish. The whole equipment is rather shabby and partly dingy. Obviously the cheapest materials were used. And we must say that it smelled a bit musty. As we are in London quite very often we can definitely say that this flat is too expensive even considering the location.
- Tony (7/5): Appartment is in a good location ,check in is clear .Staff are available on watts app & prompt & polite.2nd bed - Location Bed not very comfortable ,toilet couldn’t be any smaller.Bathroom fan expels air into the appartment .Bathroom sink tiny ,impossible to shave without splashing everywhere .
- Thomas (7/5): Well located spacious flat for the price. - The excellent location, the space, the well equipped kitchen, the surviving period details. Kitchen aside the renovation and some of the furnishings have a budget DIY feel.
- Marian (7/5): Good - Good location, quiet and affordable place Could be made more cozy and the bed.is old and the sofa does not sleep well
- Dalker (8/5): Very good - - great location
- quite spacious for London
- quick reaction when we pointed out that the cot we had booked was not there - cot we ordered was not there initially
- freezer was dirty, full of "brown snow" - completely unusable
- Chris (8/5): Very good -
- Lin (5/5): Good location, not effective communication and property settings are way below expectation. - The location is good, close to amenities and walking distance to underground stations, quiet street. The coffee machine is nice as well! First, the communication, I tried to contact Longdell by phone call, email, booking message and WhatsApp message, only got answer from WhatsApp, possibly due to out of office hour. But I do think hospitality industry shall assign some staff shift on weekend as well as in the evening.
Second, Longdell called themselves ‘Luxury property management’, this property, on the contrary, is far from luxury, according to other property of my stay, it is below average. The space is tight for almost every room. The settings are somewhat awkward: bathroom and toilet are at different corner of the flat, living and dinning room can hardly hold such a big glass table. In the kitchen, oven does not work. The furnitures in the bedroom is cheap and shabby.
Please be careful when you select a property with high score by limited reviews.
Considering its location and in a city like London, it is hard to say it worth the money you’ve paid.
- Matthew (8/5): Very good -
- Karen (9/5): Wish i had a longer stay to enjoy the flat and the area’s restaurants, pubs and Regents Park. - Great location and the little touches like a coffee pod machine and the water filter were appreciated. And the bathtub was a welcome luxury after 27 hours travelling. A bit tricky to get the key. A few stairs up with a heavy suitcase was a bit tough for a solo female traveller but got there in the end.
- Saurabh (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect Stay in Central London
The apartment is in an unbelievable location, very spacious and bright and will be our first choice when returning to London
- Katerina (10/5): Great Marylebone getaway! - The Marylebone location that I stayed at was fantastic. The apartment was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated. The host was very welcoming and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and great restaurants nearby. Overall, I had a wonderful experience staying and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in London. No complaints from me!
