Guest Reviews
- Wayno1 (8/5): Try something different to the usual travel motels - Helen was wonderful, showing us through the room and the facilities like we were family, not some strangers that just turned up 🙂
The guest suite was set out very nice. Plenty of room for 2 people and located between the main house and large garage. The view across the front lawn down to the valley was so relaxing after a big day on the busy roads.
And there are horses right there at the fence.
- Yessy (9/5): -
- Maureen (9/5): Wonderful stay in a beautiful serene setting - Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Tranquil setting and magnificent views from the main residence Softer towels and sheets but that is just being precious
- Brenda (8/5): Would go back again - Quirky and unusual The weather
- Jason (9/5): Recommended. - Very well organised, neat, clean, elegant. Noting. It’s lovely.
- Rhonda (10/5): Relaxing, quiet, clean, wonderful hosts. - The location is absolutely stunning, with amazing views to the BawBaw Plateau past beautiful rolling hills and farm land.
The breakfast provisions exceeded our expectations, the tastiest bacon, farm fresh eggs, milk, juice, muffins, mushrooms, tomato's.
Exceptional property with stunning garden. We honestly could not fault this property
- Anna (10/5): Beautiful view, beautiful guest suite - Lovely local eggs for breakfast and gluten free bread too.
The guest suite is gorgeous, all very high quality inside and out.
The views from the property are sensational.
I enjoyed seeing the horses on the property, alpacas next door, and birdlife enjoying the garden. There is a great walk/trail at the entrance which comes in handy after a long day driving. Yarragon looked like a great little town but I didn't have time to explore it. Next time!
- Lauren (10/5): - Peaceful space and very homely. Large space to relax and enjoy. Was nothing I didn't like. Would happily stay there again!
- Susan (10/5): very relaxing - beautiful nothing
- Cybelle (10/5): Super relaxing. It’s a bed a breakfast so it was nice to have Helen around feeding her animals but she also gives the pr - Helen the owner was lovely to deal with. Absolutely spotless accommodation.

- Robyn (9/5): -
- Christine (10/5): Fantastic and very relaxing - The welcome by the host and the beautiful roses around the property and inside the property. The dog was welcoming as well. The property was very well maintained and like a home away from home. No negatives

- Robyn (10/5): -
- Hopkins (10/5): Definitely 5 star plus. I enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden. - The breakfast was very generous cook your own breakfast. One improvement would be a drop-down shower seat or a shower chair. As the suite is wheelchair accessible this would be a good addition. Other than that it is perfect.
- Taylor (10/5): I will and already have recommended to friends and family, thank you! - We were well looked after. Beautiful location with a nice view. Breakfast was delicious. Wouldn’t change a thing.

- Fiona (7/5): Lovely peaceful location with great breakfast. - Great location with a short walk close to town and beautiful views. Unit is spacious, breakfast supplies were plentiful, loved multiple streamers available and a bedroom tv. Blockout blinds were a bonus so I slept incredibly well. The unit shares a wall with the main residence and garage on either side. During the day general noise travels through such as tv, voices and door sounds. It’s not loud but it is noticeable.
The cups, teaspoons and pot were a bit old and stained.
- Kate (10/5): Love love love this place - Host was amazing, suite was fully self contained, bed was very comfortable, location was peaceful.
- Allan (10/5): Exceptional - Although we only stayed 1 night we were made to feel very welcome by Helen. The West Wing is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It is in a stunning location with beautiful views. Thoroughly recommend. Nothing

This was a stopover to visit family. It had everything we needed, and the breakfast ingredients supplied were a fantastic touch.
We wish we'd have booked for longer, but now we have somewhere we know that makes a perfect stopover for our family visits in the future - Definitely want to come back here 👍

- Karin (7/5): Nice stay with excellent breakfast but certainly not 5 star as described. - Helen was very friendly and allowed us to arrive early, a big plus. Breakfast provisions were excellent! The views from the lounge were lovely. The gardens are lovely even though it is winter. The whole place had way too many nicknacks and therefore felt cluttered and not restful!
The place though comfortable looks a bit dated and could do with a good dust and spring clean. Visible cobwebs and dust on chairs etc.
- Patricia (9/5): Loved the property and the host! - Great host. Lots of knick knacks in all the rooms was a bit off putting. Shower needed a good clean. Host was fabulous and breakfast ingredients supplied for us to cook were good. Not ready when we arrived, which is always a bit of an issue when you are travelling long distances.
Absolutely stunning view and the unit is incredibly spacious. A bit afraid to keep the heating on and it was very cold.
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional - lovely warm and spacious suite, felt right at home and well stocked kitchen with hot and cold breakfast items. TV streaming and apple TV were a nice bonus. super clean

The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. Fantastic views over the valley and a real feeling of space. Stunning night sky seeing the Milky Way.
- Brendon (9/5): Superb -
- Ron (9/5): Large, functional space. A little older, but a lot to like. - Spacious. Nicely supplied kitchen. Good breakfast provisions. Very functional. The owner was out of town for the holidays so we were left to fend for ourselves. Wasn’t a problem and she was available online if needed. We had storms and wretched weather, sadly, so didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors. Never did find the washing machine, but couldn’t have hung the clothes to dry anyway.

- Anonymous (8/5): Lovely environment. - Beautiful environment. Nothing
- Valerie (9/5): Lovely views - Location was great. Beautiful views too. Second bedroom in garage left a bit to be desired. Long way from toilet and bathroom through main bedroom. Noise from batteries in garage. Better suited to couple or twin.
- Anonymous (8/5): Overall stay was good. - The location was great. Very beautiful mountain views. Overall it was fully equipped including apple tv. Some of the kitchen utensils were not clean enough. Even though natural views were excellent, we couldn’t have the calm and quietness that we expected , as there were some guests for the host who lives next door. Also there was no shampoo and conditioner.
- Bawa (6/5): Pleasant -

There’s a gorgeous garden surrounding the whole property and beautiful views of the mountains too.
I can’t forget to also mention the breakfast supplies left for us were great and having a full kitchen to cook everything in was perfect. Thanks Helen! x Everything was perfect :)
- Spahic (10/5): Exceptional - View, nature No nice outdoor setting
- Graeme (10/5): Very enjoyable and a place I would not hesitate to revisit if it was available. - The suite is spacious and the the well maintained garden setting is outstanding. The views across the valley to the mountain range exceptional. We found the hostess friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The location is quiet and private.
The selection of games. books etc. could be useful for a longer stay when one may have decided to spend an extended time relaxing around the suite. The selection of a few vases of freshly picked roses was a pleasant surprise. Maybe a few too many curios to look at in the suite, however, this is a personal issue and others may enjoy that style of furnishing. The care of the items would certainly add to the hostesses work load in cleaning etc.
