Very nice rooms and particularly large comfortable beds. Maybe not the most sociable hostel since almost everyone there is Chinese and they don't speak English but that's obviously not hostel's fault People smoking inside... I know that's normal for China but still very bothering to foreigners. Cleanliness in general could be improved

Ventilation systems are not enough unfortunately. Moreover the pictures are a bit outdated and does not reflect what we experienced. Very difficult to find the entrance and the access without asking the shop downstairs. Does not worth the price.

- alex (5/5): Плюсы: персонал на связи и готов принять даже ночью. Минус (жирный)- курение на рабочем месте сотрудников и постояльцев - Летели из Шанхая с ночной пересадкой в Урумчи. К сожалению, тот отель, который мы бронировали ранее не подтвердил, что сможет принять нас так поздно (01:00 ночи). Они даже не ответили на наши сообщение, которые мы им отправляли. Казалось бы, предстоит ночь в отеле, но уже буквально в самолёте выяснилось, что есть один отель/хостел в Урумчи, который готов принять и ночью и находится на связи ,что было очень важно. Спасибо им большое за оперативность. Были конечно же определённые сложности с нахождением данного места- таксисты не очень то хорошо знают свой город, да и никаких опознавательных знаков, говорящих о том, что здесь есть что то, напоминающее отель/хостел тоже не было. Но, то что мы не остались спать в аэропорту уже было очень хорошо. Очень непривычно когда и даже неприятно было то, что сотрудники прямо в зоне ресепшн и у лифтов курили. Номер тоже был прокурен. Пол грязный. Стаканы у раковины грязные. От раковины исходил запах плесени. Окна грязные.

- Laura (8/5): Nice place - The room was just great, spacious, luminous and well equipped. The reception area was nice and welcoming too. The staff was incredibly patient and helpful. My room needed to be dusted more thoroughly and smelled of stale smoke with the window closed. It was a non smoking room, allegedly, but there was an ashtray and a notice not to smoke in bed, strange equipment for a smoke free room. The reception area, much nicer than the library, was a smoking zone, which wasn't great.

Giving a 4/10 is being generous already cuz if I was really mean, I could've given just a 1. But because of free water, I'll give it a 4. 1st of all, it took me forever to even find the entrance to this so-called hostel which is located on the 23rd floor of this gigantic building 2-3 km away from the railway station! I arrived here 2:30AM & even the cab driver was lost on finding the establishment. Therefore, thank to Baidu Map, I manage to ACCURATELY find the building. However, at night you can only go around the building & must enter from an alternative exit/entrance in which you, the foreigner, gotta have your PASSPORT/DOCUMENT ready to enter cuz the security guard, who has NEVER EVEN BEING OUTSIDE OF HIS LIL WORLD, will NAG at you IN MANDARIN if you don't have your ID to enter the building! Then once inside, you gotta take the lift all the way up to the 23rd floor to check in! Expecting a LOT OF SMOKE in both the lift, lobby on the 1st floor, & even in the reception desk check in area!! 这可不是我们想住的所谓青旅~ The worst part is the SINK in my room 2A13! It literally stinks like the SEWER!! If you don't close the lid of the sink, it will STINK ALL NIGHT LONG! Even with my cologne & mosquito repellent or other scents it will NOT help to get rid of the stinky smell of that sink! Then 2 of my pillow in this "King room" has some kind of disgusting stains on it! I don't even know why they decided to just leave it as it is but it was quite disgusting! Then the bed sheets/blankets literally felt sticky all over it; I did NOT even sleep INSIDE THE BLANKET because I had the fear that since it's sticky, it must be dirty & I don't wanna catch other people's germs there! Then noise level?? Haha, you can hear the train loudly in the morning & even at night! ALso your VPN/HOME NETWORK does NOT work accurately on the 24th floor! Therefore, if you wanna get access to Instagram or Whatsapp, then you gotta either go to the 23rd floor in the lounge/lobby, or go all the way down to the 1st floor bottom of the building to get access!

- Emilie (10/5): Très bon point de chute à Urumqi - Le personnel est à l’écoute et utilisé un traducteur pour échanger. Toutes vos remarques et demandes sont prises en compte et acceptées. Les chambres sont bien équipées et propres (si ce n’est pas le cas il faut juste le signaler et tout de suite la personne vient). La localisation est top: à 15min à pieds de la gare et de la station des bus internationaux, aux pieds des bus pour rejoindre le musée (bus 23) ou encore le métro qui conduit à l’aéroport (bus 54). Plein de commerces et de restaurants en bas de l’hostel. Vous pouvez laisser vos bagages. Ils vous remettent une brosse à dents, du gel douche et du shampooing. - Kajsa (8/5): Good value, good location. - The staff were nice, the room was really nice more like a hotel than a hostel, there were common spaces for hanging out, a treadmill, and it was an easy location to get to from the train station. We just walked 30 minutes from the train station and then to the airport was a short drive. The actual hostel was somewhat hard to find if you did not speak Chinese as it was in a building with face recognition to access inside (so we thought we were in the wrong place). If the guard isn't there you have to jump over the barricade to get to the elevators. The elevators are very slow as they are not programmed very well. If you are not used to smoking indoors it is very smoky inside.

You have to grab your luggage all the way from the road because taxis cannot get in, it can be hard to find it at first, and even when you do, there is a gate at building entrance. The guard may not quite understand why you need to get in. For reference, take left after walking through the main gate (that the taxi cannot get through), keep walking around the building to literally behind it, where you'll find an entry to building B. After dealing with the guard, go to the elevator for 23rd floor, get out and turn left twice to reach reception.
- Zairianti (4/5): Unacceptable service — our confirmed room was given away and we were forced to accept a dorm. - We initially stayed in a quadruple room, which was clean, spacious enough, and had a decent bathroom However, our return stay on June 7–8 was extremely disappointing and frustrating. We had booked one double and one quadruple room, and informed the hotel in advance that we would arrive around 1:00 AM. Upon arrival, we were told that our double room had already been given to someone else. The hotel then asked us to cancel the original booking ourselves — in order to protect their rating on Booking.com — and required us to pay again for an 8-bed dormitory room, which they assigned to our group of six. While they didn’t place other guests in that dorm, it was clearly not the arrangement we had reserved. To make matters worse, the front desk staff could not speak English at all, making communication extremely difficult. We had to rely on Google Translate, which significantly delayed the check-in process — all while we were exhausted from travel and had an early flight the next morning. Unacceptable and unprofessional experience.

- Nazim (10/5): Great hostel in case of transit from the train station - Pretty receptionist - explained about location, ways to city and other issues (seems she was uyghur girl), Comfortable and wide bed, cosy common areas, opportunity to spend good evenings with music, amazing view from the windows. Amazing location if need transit from train station to the airport. But really far from downtown and city center, so if need to visit Central Urumchi it's better to chose accomodation closer to city coffee ( look like it is common issue in whole Urumqi). They have coffee machine but prepared not good coffee for 30 rmb. Clearness is middle, might be better. glass partition between shower and toilet with a gap at the bottom, so the separate toilet is always flooded when someone takes a shower
- Elvira (8/5): Location is not bad but absolutely no shops or attractions nearby - Staff was friendly though no one speaks english Room was not clean and hand-wash basin is in the room, not the bathroom. Wifi is very very slow.

- Terence (9/5): Superb - It's a really well laid out place, there was heaps of space in the bunk. There were good people in the room. There was a misunderstanding about my late checkout. They didn't penalise me for it, which is nice. They let me stay in the dorm till 2pm anyway. It was also a bit difficult to find initially, once you figure it out the whole place is not bad.
- Dahlia (10/5): Went to the Grand Bazaar from my hostel which is a very far distance. - Hostel location is very near Urumqi railway station, just go to the taxi waiting stand outside the railway station and show your hostel address in Chinese. The block is the B block on the left side of main entrance when taxi drop you at the main road. Just walk all the way to the back of Block B until you see the words '23 floor' at the door entrance
- Christophe (5/5): Just stayed one night and I guess it’s a good place for transit - The common spaces good to meet people and discuss or get informations for traveling View from the 23rd floor if you have the chance not to have the neighbor building in front of your window. Staff is nice Location is in the middle of nowhere. ( I guess the only good thing is if you take train ) Need to pass by an electronic door at the first floor and the guy is not that willing to help you to open for you ( you need Chinese ID card to open the gate )

- Oinatz (10/5): Perfect place in Urumqi - The hostel is great, the staff is really friendly even though they dont speak english, the rooms are very comfortable, the social spaces are also very nice in order to socialize. The staff gives a small towel, gel and shampoo and toothbrush and toothpaste. The rooms are pretty clean. They also sell food and drink in the hostel, and they organize some trips to some natural spaces close to Urumqi. The location of the hostel is very good, close to the bus and train stations. The price is very affordable considering the quality of the place. The hostel is not very easy to find, and smoking is allowed inside, which might be not very comfortable for non-smoking people.
- Michael (9/5): Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and guests, close to all you need. - I found this hostel to be exceptional. A bit tricky to find, its on the 23rd floor of a hi-rise. The staff were great, it’s very modern and spotlessly clean,restaurants very close by and walking distance, even with luggage, from Urumqi Railway Station. A little noisy at night.
- Bonbon (6/5): If just for sleeping w/o interactions, it is ok. - The bunk bed is big, comes with toiletries and a small towel. However, the ladder holder and steps seems to be lacking for an easy climb for the upper bunk. The water flowout from the shower room to the main room. No hand soap at basin. The main room for gathering is stuffy with smoke smell. Lack of comms in the room with the roommates, ask question they just ignore you. Guessed this is more guest's attitude than on the premise.

- Tileuberdi (7/5): Good - Everything seems good for its price That’s just my opinion, but if staff knew English that would be great. One more thing is that they count the time by the beginning of the booking. The same will be with check-out.
