• Oliver (4/5): Very affordable, but better not book this property if you intend to sleep through - The property location is central to Bukit Bintang. The MRT station is mere minutes from it. All the necessities were cared for, e.g. soap, towels, water. The walls are extremely thin. You can hear everything happening in the surrounding rooms and hallway, as well as the streets outside. The toilet paper is extremely thin and I once had just enough of it to get my business done. I could hear staff pushing their cart through the hallway, loudly laughing, yelling, and slamming doors in the middle of the night! Children crying, screaming, and running through the hallway were also a constant thing throughout my stay.

Its located in centre of bukit bingtang so its too noisy if u want to sleep early.. secondly their water heater is also not giving proper hot water receptist morning guy on reception was totally rude when i made payment through card he charged me 14 Ringgit more i don't know why

• Chin Tau (8/5): A great location if you just want to shop and eat! - Great Location. It is within walking distance of the major shopping centres. There are so many choice of food places. If you like crowds then this location is lively with lots of people on the streets. The basic room was too small for couples. We blocked the door when we have to open our luggage. So we have to move the luggage whenever we have to open the door. So, we have to upgrade to a bigger room to avoid the said inconvenience.

Kamarnya juga bersih. Untuk ukurannya tidak terlalu besar tapi juga tidak terlalu kecil. Sangat nyaman menginap disini. Sangat recommended buat yang mau berkunjung ke Kuala Lumpur.

But the most important is that the outlets in the room didn’t provide any electricity and we couldn’t charge any of our devices. Only one outlet was working but the fridge was plugged in that so we had to choose between plugging our phones/laptop or having cold water during the hot weather of KL. I understand it’s a 3-star hotel, but I have stayed in many 3-star hotels before, and they were all fine and worth the money. Your staff member from Pakistan was not friendly during check-in. He assigned me to the lowest floor, and the room condition was terrible. When I entered, I even found a cockroach. I immediately went to the female receptionist, and she kindly reassigned me to Level 3. However, when I asked the same staff member earlier, he told me that the upper floors were full. This shows that he was not being honest. Lastly, early in the morning, I was awakened by loud noises coming from nearby rooms. When I opened my door, I saw that the housekeeping staff were cleaning and making a lot of noise, showing no respect for guests who were still sleeping. Please look into this matter and advise me accordingly. I would like an explanation and a response. Regards, Asyraf
• JULITA ROSMA IDA (7/5): If you are going to Pavilion KL, Lot 10, Alor Street, then Astar Hotel could be the right choice. - Astar Hotel Bukit Bintang is close to the places we want to visit. Because this hotel is very close to the crowd, the crowd and noise can be heard until dawn.
• Lena Sophia (3/5): - Die Lage ist gut. Zimmer ist sehr sehr sehr klein. Das Bad schimmelt und wird nicht trocken. Wir hatten eine Kakerlake im Bad. Die Treppe ist so vollgestellt, dass ein Durchkommen kaum möglich ist. Für eine Nacht okay, aber nicht länger.

Next my room family with kids get up early when kids are crying and shouting. Can't rest properly. Check out time sharp 12.00 noon. Power cuts off the room on time. • Konstantinos (9/5): Very nice location - The hotel is located in a very good area, lively and colorful with outdoor food markets and authentic street food, next to a metro station. It was clean and comfortable. I think it is a good case of budget accommodation in Kuala Lumpur.

Dear Manager, I am writing this letter to expressed my disappointment and would seek for a reimbursement of the money paid in advance for the room night for 16 Aug 2025 as the result of the grievance expressed as follows:- 1. The booking was for a Deluxe King Room for two days (15, and 16 Aug 2025). 2. When I checked in at approximately 8pm on 15 Aug 2025 I was asked to pay for two days in advance at the counter. 3. When I checked in the room (Rm 408) 4. I was surprised to find that the room had no windows, the bed was tugged in a corner with no way to go to the other side, and there were no chairs. 5. I felt short changed and lodged a complaint at the front desk. 6. I also told the front desk staff at 11pm that I would like to leave the hotel at 11am on 16 Aug 2025 as I felt disappointed. On 16 Aug 2025 at 11am I left the hotel and requested for a reimbursement for the room night for 16 Aug 2025 which was paid in advance. 7. The staff said that he would check and let me know. I reminded the staff when I checked out on 16 Aug 2025 that I would want to have reimbursement for the room night paid in advance.

• Zerin (9/5): - The location is very convenient. It's in the heart of Bukit bintang. Most of the tourist famous places are in walking distance. Very close to Jalan alor. Very happening place with lots of food and festivity. The lift is too small. The room we stayed had no window. Also, they kept RM 50 as a security deposit during check-in. Moreover, they take extra charge if you pay through card.
• Jesús (6/5): Experiencia - La ubicación, está en una calle concurrida, con muchos locales y el metro y monorail a 3 minutos La habitación en general no estaba muy limpia, había restos de suciedad junto a la cama y mesilla, la nevera olía a podrido y una de las ventanas no tenía ni manillar para cerrarla. Pero lo peor sin duda son los conciertos callejeros nocturnos que se forman en la puerta, deleitando tus oídos con clásicos del pop/rock internacional…incluso se atrevían con el Waka Waka! había leído comentarios pero la realidad lo supera, se escucha absolutamente todo: los coches, la gente y la música como si estuvieran en tu habitación. Si no tienes tapones olvídate de dormir, al menos en las habitaciones que dan a la calle.
