• Melodi (9/5): It was amazing, would definitely come back - The location of this place is really amazing. And the owner is so kind, he helped us out a lot. I would totally recommend this place to people There is no separation between toilet and shower so if u take a shower the whole bathroom will be wet. But it’s a small thing so it doesn’t matter that much, would still book it again

• Roger (10/5): Estada excel·lent - L'amfitrió és encantador, ens va acollir amb els braços oberts i tot i la barrera lingüística ens hem sentit com a casa. L'apartament té aparcament propi i té tot el necessari. Estem encantats amb aquest lloc i amb l'Ylli. Està a prop caminant del casc antic i molt ben connectat. Tornarem!
• Amélie (7/5): Bien - Accueil au top de la part du propriétaire, avec une belle touche locale : un petit verre de bienvenue très apprécié ! Le logement est idéalement situé, à seulement 5 minutes du centre-ville, avec une place de parking à disposition.
• Jordyn (10/5): Ylli is the best! - Ylli was so wonderful and big-hearted! He met us with hugs and raki, loved to meet people traveling from all over, and we took photos together. There was quite a language barrier, and that didn’t bother him one bit. He was seriously great. The place itself was nice too. Garage parking, plenty of space, a small kitchen, etc. Excellent location near to Gorica bridge. If I had to say anything, maybe a little bit tight getting into the garage, but Ylli helped guide us in.

• Lindsay (8/5): - The location is perfect and you can park the car in a garage but I didn’t do. The street was too adventurous for me and I parked near the roundabout/park for free and had just a 2 minute walk to the apartment. The host are really lovely and caring people. It’s very basic and the shower/bathroom was not very practical. For one or two nights it’s a good place to stay and good value for money.

• Massimo (10/5): - We had a fantastic two-day stay in this Berat apartment. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring the city's sights and is conveniently close to the bus station. A truly great experience!
• Sixtine (9/5): Je recommande. - L’hôte était très accueillant. Il nous a accueilli avec des fruits et un petit verre de rakije, la boisson traditionnelle. Il prend le temps de discuter. Le logement était un très bon rapport qualité prix. Il est bien situé. Pour la place de parking, il faut être un bon conducteur, la place n est pas facile d accès mais le propriétaire aide pour se garer.

• Joanna (9/5): We had such a lovely stay, everything was great, but what touched us the most was the warm hospitality (we were even pro - Warm hospitality and great location We had a very nice stay, the host was waiting for us on-site, welcomed us with cold water and cola, and even came to say goodbye when we left. Although our communication was a mix of basic words in Albanian and English, but it wasn’t a problem at all. He was very kind, helpful, and explained everything clearly. The place is in a great location - close to the center, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet without the noise. There’s really nothing we didn’t like. Just a small heads-up: the driveway is steep and narrow, which might be tricky for some drivers, but again, the host helped us park, which we really appreciated!

• Leonie (10/5): Unforgettable stay - This is an unforgettable and one of a kind stay. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. You can park the car in a garage and its very safe like that. It's in the middle of the city so the location is great. You will find everything you need in the apartment
• Vitalijs (9/5): Superb - studio appartment in a quiet neighnourhood, just 5 min walking to the old town and Gorica and close to some bigger supermarkets inntje new part of the city. On the little street that takes you up to the castle. Quiet at night. A bit unpractical shower comnined with WC, but this is common to many places in Albania. Friendly owners,.easily accepted early check in

• Jacqeline (10/5): Albanian hospitality - Like staying with family. The warmest welcome you can imagine. Despite the language barrier we got on very well. Authentic Albanian hospitality. Super clean, comfy beds and private apartment up a short but easily manageable hill. If coming by bus to Berat bus station, catch the local bus (ask to get off at the monument/Gorica bridge) Pay on bus costs 30lek each or taxi about 500. Locals will help. The accommodation is a self contained apartment with a private terrace above a garage and the family live at the top of the garden (the also grow fruit and wonderful grapes) , so you have complete privacy, but someone is always closeby if you need help. If you want 4 star luxury, go to a hotel, but if you want an authentic Berat homestay and to experience Berat, this is for you. Close to everything, Gorica bridge 3 mins, main boulevard less than 10 passing amazing independent handmade shoos in the way), castle can be reached by turning right outside the apartment for a much less steep and more woodland walk. Thank you, the people of Berat are the warmest, kindest people. The floorboards were a bit creaky, esp if you had to get up in the night.
