Guest Reviews
- Julia (8/5): Great location - Wonderful location and a lovely home with a great covered outdoor area Communication - there was differing information and codes/passwords between the welcome text, the web check-in site and a folder in the house. Fortunately the host was very helpful and responsive.
- Leigh (9/5): Great location, with everything you need inside. - Bright, clean, everything you need Keyless door lock, is it the same code for everyone, concerned about security.
- Alison (8/5): great location - great location with everything we needed . Propert lynwas cery clean and tidy. unfortunately my only complaint was the sofa bed which incredibly uncomfortable but we managed by sharing the available beds. sofa bed
- Gemma (9/5): A great stay overall: comfortable, well‑cooled rooms and a perfect location for walking everywhere. - There’s plenty of two‑hour parking out the front, which made it easy to pull up and unload. After that, we unlocked the back shed and were able to park our car there for the entire stay. We loved being able to walk to the shops, the pub for dinner, and Wagga Beach... we didn’t need the car at all. The air‑conditioning and ceiling fans in all three bedrooms and the front living room were excellent. The bed was comfortable, so this won’t affect most guests. For those travelling with a baby, though, I’d suggest choosing one of the back bedrooms. The front bedroom has an older spring mattress that can make sudden banging noises and slopes slightly toward the middle, which made it a bit tricky for us. Otherwise, it would have been perfectly fine.
- Nicole (10/5): Beautiful home, great locations and extremely comfortable - Location was fantastic, house was beautiful, very comfortable, air con were great, back yard area was excellent. The door lock pad was temperamental - we ended up using the backdoor key provided.
- Jane (8/5): A tranquil clean and comfortable stay - Very Clean
Great location
Good communication from the owners
Lovely air conditioning in the bedrooms and not bad in the lounge room too…
Very soft beds
Great yard for the dogs
Loved the litre bottle of full cream
Milk in the fridge and the cool house to walk into after a hot drive! Uncomfortably warm in the dining room and kitchen, and also in the area where the other tv is (admittedly it was very hot the days/nights we stayed)…
It was a shame the dishwasher didn’t work…
We had two cars and found the parking situation a bit frustrating - we got the smaller of our cars into the garage at the back of the property (off a lane) but had to park the other car a few hundred metres away on another street.
- Kuluka (10/5): Very enjoyable stay definitely recommend it. - Very Clean and well kept in a very close proximity to the Main Street and shops
- Martina (9/5): Great stay in Wagga for New Year. - Convenient location. Air con on when arrived. Great. Real milk in fridge. Very clean. Parking access by back lane into garage/shed.
- Robertson (8/5): Great position and well appointed - Great location !! Short walk to main street and central park.
2 toilets a definate plus Something to put suitcase on instead of the floor .
Main dining table had bench seat which was cracked - chairs with back support and correct height to table would make it more comfortable.
Also - lounges were very low and deep making getting up difficult.
However, overall, very good accomodation.
- Scott (9/5): Peter’s Retreat was the perfect stay — unbeatable location just one block off the main street with easy access to restau - Location, easy to walk to many restaurants pubs & supermarkets, it was a very quiet property & beds super comfy. Nothing

- Barry Shep (10/5): Waterpolo Accommodation in Wagga - All good with keys and the location was very convenient to shops and main Street. Good accommodation and very helpful hosts. Would use this accommodation again and recommend to others. Very spacious and well set out. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and two toilets. In walking distance to cafes, hotels and most venues such as pool. Nothing.
- Bridget (10/5): Perfect little Stay-Cay Locay-cay 😝 - Spacious, beautiful and clean, all the essentials on arrival which is so great when you have kids as it means you don’t have to go straight down the street on arrival. Perfect for dogs and kids in the backyard and we parked two cars in the garage no troubles :) you guys have the air bnd host thing all figured out! Keep doing what you’re doing, we’ll be back! :) See above
- Sarah (10/5): - Highly recommended 👌
- Gordon (8/5): - Loved the house when it was toasty warm, with chilly strolls into town so close. Easy space to share with family, everything accounted for. Needed to buy kindling to get the fire going, a blocksplitter near the firewood would have been great. The back room for the 7th and 8th guests would not be comfortable for adults, sofa bed was thin, and it was freezing so far from the heaters. The oil heater couldn't be used as it tripped the power circuits. All easy fixes.
- Alisi (10/5): We would stay here over & over. Easy, clean, cosy. A must stay if in Wagga. - The property is exceptionally crafted & has everything you need. We did not want to leave. We loved everything about this property. Location was great, very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bowls and plates was 5 star quality.
