Guest Reviews
- Alfa (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent host and excellent appartement
- Raquel (5/5): Passable - The strongest point of this apartment is the location as it is near the Central Station and very close to the city center. The whole apartment smells like tobacco.
The advertisement is for 3 people, a double bed and a "sofa" bed. The sofa is literally a sofa, so our friend did not sleep very well... The apartment is for 2 people.
When we entered the apartment there were only 2 body towels and the sheets laid out for the bed, but there were no sheets for the sofa... so we had to talk with the owner and look for them in his wardrobe.....
Before he answered that we had to look for them, we thought to buy towels and sheets in IKEA...
- Marta (2/5): The flat is very dirty and smells horribly to tobacco - The location is very convenient. Centric and well connected to the rest of the city and airport The apartment has a lot of potential but it is kept under very poor conditions. The capacity is for 2 people, not for 3 at all. We found it very dirty. I had to clean up the kitchen to made it usable for our stay. It was a mess... The whole flat smells horribly to tobacco. The bathroom curtain is very disgusting. The price of the rent at least worths a new one… common! The host requested extra money for an earlier check-in “for the cleaning service” which clearly didn’t exist… On top of that, when writing to him complaining about the poor status of the apartment the host did not responded. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone.
- Egon (8/5): Very good -
- A (6/5): Pleasant -
- Alicia (10/5): Great - Really nice apartment, more than enough space for 3 of us with kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, bedroom and balcony. Not located in city centre but still great location as it was a few steps from the metro so we could go anywhere we needed to!
- Enrico (7/5): Ok, even if... - Large and lightly flat, nice terrace. The sofa bed is just a sofa. Quite comfortable, but anyway just a sofa!
- Dino (9/5): Nice apartment near the central station - Very convenient location, just a 3 minute walk from the central station. The apartment was nice and comfortable. There were 3 of us so I slept on the sofa but there were no blinds on the window - inconvenient if staying during the summer since I'm used to waking up when the sun comes up. There's no elevator so be aware if you're bringing heavy suitcases.
- Stephen (8/5): Absolutely recommended - Superbly situated, marvellous apartment with a homely feeling. Ideal to explore the city and vicinity.
Good logistics for key pickup and return. Swift responses to our questions.
- Uldis (8/5): A little improvement here and there and it could make up to 10 - Excellent location next to central station, literally 50m from Metro. Meatpacking district is an interesting place, number of good restaurants around and supermarket just around the corner. Friendly and responsive host. Sofa in living room is not exactly my preferred type for sleeping :) I would work on towel and bed linen size :) I did not need Wifi but could not figure out is there one at all :)
- Ion (9/5): Superb -
- Miss (10/5): apartment is near restaurant , supermarket and it is very easy to go to walking street and around the town. - It is easy to contact the property. There is no Wi-Fi in apartment.
- Granty1874 (6/5): Good location and overall good apartment, couple of small changes will make all the difference... - Nice apartment and right next door to central station and the meatpacking district. Everything you need on your doorstep. Let down by a couple of simple things are that so easy to fix. A second set of bed linen required as washing one set is fine except it was not dry so unable to make bed up first night. Towels! Invest in some more towels, 2 for 3 guests (and again they were damp on arrival) is not sufficient.
- Elizaveta (4/5): good location, bad attitude of the host - Excellent location, directly next to the central station. Nice spacious balcony with a table and chairs. There was an option to book the apartment for three people (what we did), however, the host called a couple of days before our arrival and said that they have only one set of linens. Likely we had a spare set with us, but why take money for renting out an apartment for three people and not be prepared for that?!
The linens that they provided were just laying folded on the bed when we arrived and were still wet. We had to stretch it over chairs on the balcony to dry. Lucky us, it was a sunny day and we arrived early in the day. But before that, we had to remove a full ash bucket (yes, not even a small ashtray, but a bucket) that was left on the table.
Also, there was no soap in the bathroom. No, I am not asking for a hotel-style mini-shampoo set. Come on, each public restroom has soap.
And for the last point, the fridge was full with the host's food, which felt kinda weird for us. It's a minor point, but the feeling that you have just crushed in someone's apartment made us feel uncomfortable and for this price, one could expect a bit more attention to your guests.
