• Nathan (10/5): Really amazing stay - great value, lovely staff and really nice rooms - Really nice clean room had everything we needed including a fridge and kettle. Staff were so lovely and organised a really good priced taxi for us to the airport. Location is really good too close to anything you might need - especially the VPbank right round the corner. No complaints whatsoever :)
• Jan (10/5): All in all, a unique and memorable stay—I’ll definitely be back. - I had a really enjoyable stay at Sun Clover Boutiques Home. It’s not your typical hotel, which is exactly what makes it special. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are genuinely warm and welcoming—especially LAN, who was always smiling and ready to help with anything. The place itself is a bit run down, but that actually adds to its charm. It feels like an authentic Vietnamese home rather than a polished, touristy hotel. The neighborhood is great too—plenty of local coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and still not far from the Old Quarter. The room or rather a spacious apartment was a highlight, with its own kitchen, washing machine, and an incredible balcony to relax on. All in all, a unique and memorable stay—I’ll definitely be back. The bathroom might not suit everyone’s taste, but if you see it as part of the overall experience, it adds to the place’s character.
• Remy (9/5): - Tout Chambre 403. Le robinet de la salle de bain fuit. La propriétaire a fait venir un plombier qui aurait dû régler le problème. Ce qu'il a fait à réduits la fuite mais ne l'a pas totalement arrêté. De plus, il a manipulé la vanne d'arrivée d'eau chaude et celle-ci s'est mise aussi à fuir. Je pense que la fuite du robinet est comme cela depuis un certain temps au vu de l'état du meuble de la sous vasque. Elle devait venir voir à nouveau le débit de la fuite pour faire intervenir le plombier. J'ai quitté la chambre trop tôt pour savoir si cela a été réalisé. Je n'ai pas été spécialement dérangé. Mais je trouve regrettable de gaspiller une ressource qui à terme sera une problématique mondiale.

• Liz Angélica (8/5): - The apartment was nice and comfortable. We stayed for a couple of nights, and they offered us a bigger apartment with natural light. The service was amazing. The internet connection was strong, but not very reliable — out of the 5 nights we stayed, it didn’t work for 2 nights. However, when the Wi-Fi was working, I was able to do video calls. The location is perfect if you use Grab or rent a motorbike. We rented one from the same hotel, and everything was fine. There is no division between the shower and the bathroom. I think this is normal in older buildings, so it wasn’t a big deal.

(8/5): - Very good position on quite busy shopping/cafe/snack street, although you don't hear any noise inside, & yet just couple of minutes walking to Westlake & amazing cafes/restaurants all around the Islet (after the Hanoi club). In the actual street outside are many bargains to be had both foodwise or otherwise, & young lady speaks very good English & some French as well as both ladies kind & managed my Laundry...my room was clean with fridge & kettle, towells & hot water as you need it All good thankyou

• Lê (4/5): Short stay - The young helpful receptionist whose shift is in the morning thể last dày of Mỹ stay in the hotel No daily cleaning and changing beds, I asked the older receptionist in her afternoon shift and she told me they only clean the rooms at my request and I have to leave the key to the room. No rules and guard in the night, some guests come back at 3.00am and started moving beds, furniture and walked around.

• Julie (5/5): Cheap and Adequate - I liked the picture of the property on Booking.com. We were on the upper floors, so an elevator was very much appreciated. The cleaning lady was helpful and friendly, even though she didn't speak any English, and showed us to our room, and assisted us to make contact with the owner. The room had a bathroom, and bedding that was clean. The owner had made an effort to put plants in the 'balcony' area to decorate. We were frustrated that no person was at reception, and the owner did not answer questions we had, until 2 days later - and even then misunderstood. To be fair, we realise that the understanding of English was a factor in the contact confusion, however it is what it is.The room was clean, but totally not what was advertised in the photos. The 'balcony' was a 400ml space between bedroom wall and outside wall, and there was a strong odor of the last person. The tv and aircon were not working - but a wall fan did.

Bedsheets and towels are spotless. It’s very difficult to find a grab or Uber from this location. It takes lot of time to find one.

• Defina (6/5): Pleasant - it’s quiet and the host help me arrange the transport to the airport which is nice. the property is a bit different than the picture, I believe it was beautiful when they first built it. but it definitely needs maintenance. i saw water stains on the ceiling, the wood on the floor is break down, fridge is broken, one lamp in the room has no switch and its on day and nights. definitely not soundproof cause i can hear the neighbors and the staffs speaks barely English. also the location is far from the center and somehow its not showing on grab.
