• Lorenzo (10/5): Amazing jungle views - A really special place to stay! Waking up to the views of the jungle is something we’ll never forget. Francesca was really helpful in arranging taxis for us and advising on travel routes. The apartment is beautifully designed and very comfortable. Ideal location for exploring surrounding nature, very enjoyable natural pools and waterfalls at a short walking distance.
• hartstra (9/5): Ik raad het iedereen aan. - Een prachtig locatie midden in de jungle. Het huisje ziet er prachtig uit. En je kunt helemaal tot rust komen in de hangmat. En heerlijk slapen met alle natuur geluiden. De gastvrouw en heer waren goed bereikbaar en heel erg behulpzaam. Leuk om even kennisgemaakt te hebben. Je moet wel even goed voorbereiden met boodschappen de winkel is een beetje rijden.
• Raquel (10/5): Exceptional - It was amazing to stay in the middle of the jungle surrounded by the sounds of nature. The house is very cute and cozy. It was not so easy to access it due to heavy rain season, some parts of the road are quite muddy and since we didn’t have a 4x4 car we were a bit scared that we might get stuck.
• Felix (7/5): Beautiful place but hard to find! - Beautifully done, very spacious bedroom and bathroom, great views into the jungle. Host was helpful. Stayed for my girlfriend’s 30th and it was very special. Excellent value for money. Very hard to find, needs to be better signposted on the road or nearby, and more pictures maybe. No signal up in the mountains and can only contact the host by WhatsApp, and there’s no one on site. The pin on Google isn’t correct and those roads don’t exist on their maps as they are so remote. It’s about 45 mins from Paraty, take that into account. Shower isn’t great and runs cold. Curtains don’t block out the light and the back door is open to nature so get wind and bugs coming in. Also it’s right next to the road so the bright streetlights shine in - broke the illusion of being in the jungle!
• Marcelo (8/5): It is a brand new property - We loved the nature connection, we definitely loved that we got our own river swimming spot inside of the property, the chilled neighbours, the house is basically surrounded by windows that allows us to see the whole nature around. There is even avocado and banana trees, which they encouraged us to go and grab it if they were good enough. It is a bit tough to arrive at the property, we started doubting if the way was correct, but in the end we found it. They left us a spray can to avoid insects, but at night there were not a lot of protection and we got bite a lot by mosquitoes during the night.
