• Barclay Kyle (10/5): Perfect, comfortable, quiet, clean and friendly - This is a lovely basement flat in a very nice location, it’s very quiet and it’s a nice neighbourhood. I went into zone 1 in less than 25 mins and the station is 10 mins walk. Parking free outside. The whole property has been very thoughtfully designed, everything that you need is there, there’s plenty of space and the bed is one of the best, unusually you can make the flat dark to sleep which is rare these days but I really enjoyed it. The host is very pleasant and has tips and information for you for the area If you need it. Nice plants and trees and good quality furnishings, lots of reading material. No TV but that didn’t bother me. Fast WIFI and lots of hot water. I would recommend it. There was nothing I didn’t like

• Thomas (10/5): Gute Ausgangslage für das Erkunden von London - Die Lage, die Größe und die Ausstattung waren für uns perfekt. Es handelt sich um eine Einzimmerwohnung mit einem abgetrennten Schlafraum unter der Treppe, einer voll ausgestatteten Küche inklusive Spülmaschine und sogar einer Waschmaschine. Zudem gibt es einen separaten Zugang. Die Nachbarschaft ist sehr ruhig und es gibt öffentliche Verkehrsmittel in alle Richtungen. Parken ist auch kein Problem. Da unser PKW als Transporter eingestuft wurde, konnten wir leider nicht in die ULEZ fahren. Wir haben dann am Bahnhof in Dartford geparkt und ein Wochenparkticket am Fahrkartenautomaten im Bahnhof gekauft. Von dort fahren alle 30 min Züge zur Nunhead Station, die etwa 10 min von der Unterkunft entfernt ist. Ich persönlich finde es etwas unpraktisch, wenn in einer Ferienwohnung viel Dekoration herumsteht. Das ist aber nur eine kleine Anmerkung.
• Susann (8/5): Für uns war es das Richtige, hier findet man Ruhe vom "Trubel" im Touristen-Zentrum. - ruhige Lage, gemütliche und praktische Einrichtung, wichtige Kleinigkeiten sind vorhanden (Steckdose für "Euro-Stecker", Geschirrspültabs, Toilettenpapier) Wir reisten als Mutter und erwachsene Tochter - da wären zwei Bettdecken passender als eine doppelte Bettdecke für zwei Personen.

• Rowan (9/5): Nic clean apartment - The little flat was very comfortable and very clean, with basics for use e.g. T bags, coffee etc ☺️ The blind which divided the sitting room to the bedroom, but this was not a huge negative at all

Byliśmy w dwie osoby na 7 dni (6 nocy) w celach zwiedzania więc spędzaliśmy tam tylko późne wieczory i wczesne poranki i sprawdził się rewelacyjnie. Woda w zlewie w łazience wolno schodziła, śmietnik w kuchni był nieopróżniony po poprzednich lokatorach ale to nic poradziliśmy sobie

La casa è situata in una via molto tranquilla e sicura, a pochi passi da due grandi parchi e in zona piacevole dalle caratteristiche abitazioni vittoriane e ben collegata al centro e agli altri luoghi di interesse della città tramite bus e treni. Casa molto pulita, dotata di bagno ben attrezzato e pulito, cucina fornita di ogni elettrodomestico, camera da letto non molto grande ma funzionale e con grande armadio. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo per la zona e il periodo (agosto). Tornerò sicuramente

Thanks Vanessa! Maybe the area isn't ideal for those looking to do Central London sightseeing etc but that wasn't applicable to me, so didn't matter.

• BARRY (9/5): - It is lovely little flat. I managed to park right outside every evening. It was nice and quiet. It had everything I needed in the kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. It’s not a part that I didn’t like. It hasn’t got a TV which I wasn’t bothered about as I had my iPad with my virgin TV on. It doesn’t say it has a TV but some people might expect one.

• Lydia (10/5): A peaceful place to spend a few days - The apartment was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. It was comfy and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. There was even a dishwasher (although we couldn't find dishwasher tablets) and washing machine. The shower was hot and strong. Our host was very responsive. There were corner shops/pubs a few minutes walk away, as well as buses/trains into central London. We would definitely stay again. We could occasionally hear the family moving around above but it wasn't very disturbing.
• Paul (10/5): Great location, very clean apartment - Lovely, very clean apartment on a beautiful, tranquil road. Great access to local amenities, and very easy access to Central London. Highly recommend for single or couple. Owner was extremely responsive and friendly. Nothing to criticise.

My partner was also able to work from there on some of the mornings as it has good WiFi. We’ve always liked that part of London, so it was perfect for us. A hook for a towel in the bathroom would be useful.

• Andrey (10/5): Perfect base to explore London - We stayed at Vanessa’s place for a week, and it was a fantastic base for exploring London and the surrounding areas. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and very cozy. We loved using the oven just like at home, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our usual meals. It was also great to have various convenient options for traveling to the city center or other destinations. There are plenty of supermarkets near the transport hubs, making it easy to pick up supplies. A big thanks to Vanessa and her family for warmly welcoming us! We would love to stay at your place on our next trip to London :)

• Bainvel (8/5): Five days with my daughter in London. - Situated in a pretty quite area, the basement is close to a little supermarket and buses, underground and train stations( 45 minutes to Westminter). Parking place is available right in front of the house. Perfect for an overnight stay before heading to explore London.
