Guest Reviews
- Heronides (8/5): - Principalmente do tamanho do quarto e do banheiro.

- Delores (8/5): Lovely stay at Gizah, Grand Pyramids Inn - The Inn is located in an gated compound with various appartment buildings. It is a green environment which feels safe. The rooms are spacious and clean and most of them have a private bathroom. The breakfast was ammended to our liking by Mustafa. We had overall a good time in the Inn. The communication was sometimes not clear, due to googletranslate from Arabic to English and vice versa.
- Delores (8/5): Lovely stay at Gizah, Grand Pyramids Inn - The Inn is a luxury apartment with 4 spacious rooms. It is situated in a gated compound complex, it feels safe, it is quiet, it is clean. It was really nice to stay there. We were served every morning breakfast from Mustafa. He made a breakfast according to our wishes, which was really kind. Since our group consisted of vegetarians / vegans. Through Mustafa and the owner we were connected with a good drivers that took us to some ancient sites. The beds are very comfy and comfortable. Although we could communicate through google translate, we had a little linguistic misunderstanding.
- Levan (1/5): Bad - it was clean reception guy is very annoying there was problem with payment i had $ and he wanted egy so i have to pay next day and in 1 night he asked my friend 5 times about money 5 times eaven i was giving him tip also for that and he know that it was not my problem aslo hotel is clean bit reception guy was not welcome
- Alaa (5/5): Passable -
- Ashraf (10/5): I would recommend it for a family 👪 to stay their week ends. - Quite safe place.
excellent, respectful hospitality and accommodation. No thing.
- Marc (8/5): Good sized rooms. - It had large spacious rooms with good aircon. Not much to do in this area but good if you’re going to see the Pyramids or new Museum.
- Ahmed (7/5): Good -
- Moiz (10/5): Excellent Hotel - Everything was very good. The location is very nice. The hotel is inside compound very near to Grand museum and Pyramids. The room is big and clean, and Mustafa, the receptionist, is also very helpful.
- Mohammed (1/5): RED FLAG. - Nothing. This turned out to be a bit of a joke. The place is filthy. Hair all over the linen, bed and bathroom. One guy is the cleaner, cook and reception but doesn’t do a good job of any of it. A previous guests dirty slippers were still in the room. Everything needs improvement. This place is not an inn/hotel or bed and breakfast. When we asked for clean linen, the guy just dumped a duvet inner on the bed and left.
- Shinu (8/5): Very good -

This place is full of positive vibes
Breakfast is so delicious and enough
They also offer tours around Egypt with good prices
and a professional tour guide
The most important thing that they can speak many languages which makes the stay comfy and easier to contact
The rooms are very clean and comfortable
The place provides free internet
I will suggest this place to all my family and friends
- Elaine (6/5): Felt safe and it was clean. - The property was clean and felt safe. As it is in a gated compound. Its not really an Inn. Felt like we was in a private apartment. Which was ok but I felt a little misleaded in the type of property when searching on Bookings. Tho the pictures were accurate. After long trip from western Canada and being about midnight by the time we got there, exhausted, we were hit with a hard sales pitch to take tours with them. We told them that we were on a tour and had only came early so we could rest before the tour started but still tried to sell us. In the morning we were rushed from our sleep to come out to the main area for a breakfast. Again we were asked about taking tour with them. When we asked for a second cup of coffee (which was Nestles Instant) we were told it would cost $5.00 thinking he meant Egyptian pounds we agreed. Then he told us it was $5.00 US for a extra cup. I had the managers business card and asked him to call the manager and he kept asking why and I responded I just want to speak to him. He didn’t want me to speak to the manager so said we didn’t need to pay for the second cup. He did help us arrange a Uber to our next destination and we were very thankful for that. They also had a car meet us at the airport and take us to the apartment which was great. All in all it wasn’t a bad experience but they need to change a few these issues.
- Vamos (9/5): Convenient base for Giza, Saqqara and the new GEM. - The rooms are in a new compound. The owner fulffiled all our requests. The accommodation was perfect to visit Sakkara and Gizah. It is a safe and quiet environment. We had a short walk in the neighbourhood. A supermarket is very close to the building. Two rooms had a shared bathroom that we did not before, but we sorted it out.
- Mohamed (1/5): Unfair presentation for description mentioned in booking, the owner imposed higher fees than mentioned in booking which - It’s just a flat in compound It’s not hotel nor motel, it’s just a flat in compound
- Khaled (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): Safe, secure, value for money. - Good and secure. Helpful host. Large room. Nice breakfast. Best to turn up with the exact amount of USD as credit card incurs extra charges, and owner prefers cash.
- Loo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mohammad (10/5): Good - Excellent Things i would like not to mention.
- Murad (8/5): its not hotel they are cheating, but the room is good - the place is quite and clean the location of the hotel is not the same as on the booking website
it's not a hotel it is apartment in a compound
- Bassem (10/5): Relaxing place - Clean and relaxing place No thing
- Francesco (8/5): Very good - New and safe compund, brand new rooms, good wifi, fairly clean overall. good location next to Giza. Big shoutout to Mr Mustafa whos been really kind and helpful. Overall a great stay. bit difficult to reach by Uber (some drivers dont know the area) and shower wasnt working properly. nothing too serious
- Ashleigh (7/5): Good - Very large bedroom with air conditioning. Modern facilities. The housekeeper was very accommodating although there was a language barrier (particularly when it comes to money) as he doesn't speak English so we spoke via Google translate. They did my laundry on request. Muhamad and his sons own the hotel and Muhamad was very welcoming, he knocked on my door on the morning after my arrival and took me on a full day private tour of Egypt at an additional cost of $250 USD (not including tips). A simple continental breakfast is provided at a time you request (bread, cheese, ham, a boiled egg). Nice balcony view of the garden. Very peaceful place as it's in a private compound away from the streets. It is not a hotel but rather a guarded compound whereby you stay in a house with other guests and a housekeeper and you get your own private bedroom and ensuite which is lockable (the rest of the house is shared living space). There is no reception and the housekeeper takes photos of your passport on his phone (for security purposes) on arrival, which gets sent to all of the hotel owners' phones (not an overly secure form of storing people's information). From a cleanliness point of view I could see other people's hairs in the bed linen and the fridge had small spots of mould so I didn't use it. The shower is in a tall bath with no shower screen, so water floods the tiles and it is quite slippery (would be dangerous for people with mobility issues). Need to catch taxi's/private transport to get anywhere as the inn is in a more secluded area of Egypt away from the city and it is a 1 hour drive to the airport. No swimming pool. If you want to be left alone to do your own thing then this is probably not the place for you as Muhamad and the housekeeper will knock on your door regularly to ask you what you want to do/where you want to go/what you need.
- Asser (8/5): Very good -
- Mohamed (5/5): Passable -
- Marko (10/5): Was excellent service, the team were super helpful and accomodating. Helped with anything I needed and was always availa - Very quiet, had everything you needed and more A bit far from the city
- John (10/5): Comfortable beds and lovely food - Staff extremely helpful. Waited for us when we arrived at 04:30. Allowed extrra late breakfast and check out. Good swimming pool and comfortable beds. Difficult to find eventhough good directions were given to our taxi driver
- Quyen (9/5): Great place for a quiet relaxing break on your travels. - Mostafa’s hospitality was fantastic. The accommodation is very spacious and clean. it’s also located in a safe and quiet residential area. It’s a little out of the way from shops and restaurants.
- Junping (8/5): very good experience - nice host speaking Chinese
- Samar (10/5): Perfect - rooms are wide and clean, location is very quiet to relax location needs a private transportation because no public transportations available
- Anonymous (10/5): excellent service, friendly staff - the location was beautiful, the service was amazing
- Mohammad (7/5): Nice clean value place - Friendly staff, clean room, value for money Location is a bit difficult to reach
- Deborah (9/5): Superb - Thé host was really helpful.
- Monica (5/5): Close to the pyramids 2 nights was enough. quite an isolated area. difficult to travel around independently. - spacious -dirty pool not useable
-bathroom was a shared one although there wasn’t anyone else staying
-a lot of hustling
- Ibrahim (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is excellent,.

- Noha (1/5): Bad -
- Barbara (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): excellent - clean nothing
- Mohamad (10/5): highly recommend - peaceful and quiet place none
- Nassima (10/5): Exceptional - The members of the staff were very polite, kind and caring. I was late to my check in amd they called me to make sure that everything was alright. (Instead of assuming that I was not comming) I needed medicine because I had an eye surgery the same day I checked in and they went and brought it for me. I was hungry and they ordered food for me. They organised me a trip to the piramids as well for £85 which included transport tour guide and lunch. I mentioned that I needed sunglasses to protect my eyes from the sun during the piramids trip and they got me the sunglasses. They were very respectful and they made sure I had whatever I needed which I found impressive. Overall I had an excellent experience. I have nothing to complain about.
- Ahmed (10/5): Thank you very much for your hospitality.. All the best for you.. - Staff is awesome.. Nothing

- Mohamed (3/5): Not recommended - The staff were dealing in an inappropriate manner
- Mohammed (9/5): Superb - helpful staff, clean and quite place bathroom drainage
- Timothy (9/5): Would happily stay there again just about says it all! - Nice sized room, comfortable beds, good breakfast.
Walking distance to New Grand Egyptian Museum when it opens, but quite a long way to walk to 'central' Giza.
Very helpful owners and staff.
Nice TV with USN/HDMI so you can bring your own movies! No bedside light so you can read at night without getting out of bed to turn off the light!
- Walid (9/5): Great experience in a while - Staff friendly, place clean , quiet and good location Not much , only if there's more than two room occupied some noice is noted because of echo
- Khalid (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arina (10/5): Very beautiful flat but the host needs to have a better attitude and a better system for the main do - The room was very clean and everything was new. There is a nice balcony and a very big lobby that can be used as well. The area is very safe for walking in the compound even at night. There is no restaurant in walking distance, the host recommended us to go to a nearby country club but sadly the security said it is members only.
The host was very insistent trying to sell tours. His father was very nice but the son tried every day even though we told him there is no need and we have friends here. On the last day while we were waiting for our Uber he convinced us to use the car that was bringing the cleaning lady, we agreed to pay 50 pounds even though uber was 38, and still the driver had the nerve to ask for more money upon arrival.
We were given our room key but not the key to the main entrance, and the host was asking all the time when we leave, when we come back etc. which is not pleasant because we want to come and go whenever, not plan in advance.
- Atonu (4/5): Please be extra cautious when booking this property... - The hotel is in a secure, quiet location and it is clean. The heating is good, hot water is not an issue and the wifi is fine. Breakfast was okay. As you can see above, we have some nice things to say about this property and we wish them well but we must also point out a few things for future guests. We had booked the "Double room with Garden view" and we were told over whatsapp that we will have a private bathroom. When we reached, after a desert safari and tired, we were told by Mr. Mahmoud that if we wanted to ensure a private bathroom, we will need to book the Junior suite by paying 50USD more, otherwise if somebody else checks in, the bathroom will be shared. Ultimately, despite our requests and despite showing the whatsapp messages promising a private bathroom, we had to pay 30USD more. Mr. Mahmoud then took out his card machine and converted the USD as 30EGP per USD (22nd Dec, 2022) whereas in the rest of Egypt it was 25EGP per USD. So another way to make some extra money for Mr. Mahmoud. So we ultimately had to pay cash. Please note that only the King room (part of the Junior suite) has a garden view, the double room, triple room don't have a garden view, as advertised. Throughout our stay of 3 nights, Mr. Mahmoud constantly nagged us to take a guided tour with his father and to book a private car through him. On the last day, he even asked us to pay his housekeeper a tip. So all in all, not a nice experience but the property has potential if they change their attitude and advertise correctly and charge the correct currency exchange rate.
- Amir (10/5): Exceptional - This was a beautiful experience all the way, Mr. Mahmoud was very helpful and very friendly and the place was very cleaned and the breakfast was very good
