Guest Reviews
- Sayed (6/5): Nice cosy stay, lots of beautiful wildlife and a great bar/lunch spot accross the road. - Cosy, cute and beautiful fireplace ! Comfortable beds. It’s not 2 bathrooms it’s one toilet and one shower. It’s right off a highway which isn’t mentioned in the description so lots of cars driving past. Was given the option to upgrade to the cabin even closer to the highway , lucky we didn’t opt for it. Not much of an upgrade if you ask me. So some issues with transparency.
Had to ask for dishwashing liquid / tablets. As they provided none at first - they were nice to bring some but only after having to insist there was none to begin with.
- Andrew and Paula (10/5): A tranquil, relaxing and peaceful experoence. - Perfect in every way.
- Daniel (9/5): A great way to experience the snowy mountains. - Check in and out was simple. Loved the Cozy vibe, with ample heating and fireplace. Waking up to a great view at sunrise. Enjoyed the blend of modern and traditional in styling, and it shaved about 20mins each way off the drive to Thredbo vs staying in Jindy. Nitpicking, but Mobile reception (Telstra) wasn't the greatest, and would have loved a coffee machine.
- Peter (10/5): -
- Allyson (9/5): - Would have loved an instruction sheet with the WiFi code and how to use the oven but we managed to figure out the oven.
- Rob Derbyshire (10/5): -
- David (8/5): We loved staying here. Would come again in a heartbeat. - Very convenient location, beautiful surroundings, spacious, warm, comfortable. Kitchen lacked a few things and the dishwasher wasn’t the most effective.
- Louise (10/5): - Absolutely perfect place to stay at the snowy mountains 🙏🏻
It has character, comfort and that lovely smell of burned wood you seek in a winter holiday 🥰
Quiet, private, but still close to the town and a short drive to the ski resorts! If you're lucky, you might see some kangaroos around the property 🦘
- Shannan (10/5): -
- Jeffrey (10/5): -
- Andrew (8/5): - Great location
- Ainslie (8/5): Very good -
- Ben (10/5): Exceptional - Nice surrounds. Cozy & comfortable Needed a larger frying pan !
- Jakki (10/5): We love staying at The Chapel. The owners are lovely, the accommodation is perfect for a short stay. - We love where the bed is located! We opened the blinds and watched the sunrise through the valley of Crackenback, it's amazing!
- Sang (8/5): - Like quiet location, wildlife, adequate breakfast provisions, good linen quality and open space.
Not so much on lots of dead flies and soggy extra toilet paper.
