The apartment (a double deluxe) for extremely fair price for a 5 star hotel, was immaculately clean, spacious, and arranged with beautiful vintage furniture. Fairly comfi bed. Being between seasons (late October), the restaurant was working only till 8pm. Almost exclusively for us, they nevertheless arranged that we were served delicious meals. Perfect price/quality ratio. That we need to leave.

• Aneta (8/5): Good value for money. - I loved the pool and spa. The room was a bit outdated and no AC. Breakfast was a bit limited, but was ok generally. The parking was paid and full and daily I had to worry about it and check when the people who I am supposed to pay to arrive.

• Daniel (10/5): The best hotel in Boverets - The Grace family had a wonderful stay. This is a charming and beautiful full service hotel. It has a wonderful deco and bar and restaurant. I took my children for their 18th and 20th birthdays. The staff helped me throughout my stay. I can highly recommend the restaurant, spa facilities and heros ski hire (internal to the hotel). The pool here is warmer than the Rila. The food here is better then the Rila. The staff are nicer. I will be back again, as this hotel is just away from the main restaurant and bars and as such does not suffer from any noise. Don't delay, book it. Some elements of the hotel could do with some maintenance.

Our driver was waiting for us on arrival with a clear sign. We were welcomed to the Festa Winter Palace Hotel by Petar on reception. He was very friendly, helpful and informative and answered any questions we had throughout the stay. We had booked a junior suite, which was spacious and clean. We booked ski equipment through the Hero ski shop in the hotel. The boots and ski were great quality and condition. Rumen who worked in the ski shop was always so helpful ensuring at the start of the holiday we had equipment that was the right size. We returned the ski equipment every night to the drying rack and he greeted us each morning and knew exactly which ski equipment belonged to us. Great breakfast with a large variety of items. The spa was amazing and just what we needed after a long day skiing. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from the slopes, bars and restaurants. We can’t wait to return to Borovets and return to the Festa Winter Palace Hotel. Thanks for a great first skiing trip :)

Walking there with the ski boots is very tiring. - Entrance of the hotel and ski room was not good. - Getting from the closed garage to the hotel and ski room is difficult. - Lady in the lobby counter is not friendly.

• Hristiyan (6/5): 5 stars place, but had problems - The staff was nice - everywhere(reception; restaurant; ski place). The parking space was perfect. The spa was quiet and the staff was friendly. The room was big. The first night, there was a party of some group and the music was way too loud(the bass was too strong) I had to check with reception at 1 AM and they said they would "ask"... The bass was lowered a bit(still I was able to hear it, but I managed to fall asleep). I was on the 4th floor(even the bedroom was on kind of 5th), I can just imagine how it was for lower floors, but maybe they were all at the party). The room had its own elevator and it was sometimes coming empty on its own. Once it even brought some people by mistake to the room. Since there is no way to lock the bedrooms I was all the time a bit under pressure that someone might come to the room and couldn't properly chill and sleep. Additionally the elevator had really annoying noise while moving - it woke me up multiple times. I cannot really rate the beds because at the end I couldn't properly sleep both nights that I was there. At the end I honestly regretted taking the apartment, I think with two base rooms I would have been more satisfied.

The restaurant in the hotel (a la carte) was the best food we had in all of Borovets. The ski storage situation wasn't clear. We didn't like storing our skis somewhere where we couldn't access them outside of the hire shop's opening hours.

Dido (lifeguard) was always there to help us, to give us a towel and always in a good mood. Excellent the 3 ladies at the reception. Always helpful. Anton was also very kind and helpful. Nice furniture in the rooms. Parking is not included in the room price. There is a daily charge. If you have your own skis and boots you dont need to pay for their storage in the hotel. If you have rented them from somewhere else, you have to pay for their storage in the hotel.

• Helen (8/5): A great find! - We stayed in a maisonette as a family of four - this offered excellent accommodation with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The hotel was clean and comfortable if rather dated, but the location was fantastic - walkable to all slopes and all restaurants etc. The hotel was quiet and breakfast was good. The pool was also fantastic! The staff were fine, but not particularly friendly, although I think part of the problem is perhaps the language barrier...? There were occasions when certain staff members were perhaps a little rude / abrupt....particularly the pool attendant. Overall however, this did not diminish what has been an excellent stay.

• Tanya (6/5): Pleasant - The hotel is big, the view is nice, the location is good and staff are friendly and polite. This was faaaaar from a 5* experience. We had the Spa Suite. There are big projector-type lights on the facade, placed under each window which basically make it look like daytime in your room. The curtains were no blackout curtains and there were no proper blinds. The bathroom sink was clogged. The breakfast was what i would expect of a 3* place. 1h before the end of the breakfast time there were almost no baked goods left. We didn't ask for a room change because we arrived late at night at the hotel after a day of hiking.... Upon complaining we were offered a bottle of wine, the front desk staff was polite and helpful but overall I would rate the hotel an ok 4*.

• Lorenzo (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice hotel, old-fashion style furniture. The room was very big, and the position is great. Also, I received a surprise in the room since it was my birthday! The SPA is little but functional, has a big pool and massages were great
