Guest Reviews

- Shirley (9/5): The house was close to major food outlets and many tourist attractions, which made getting around so much easier. - Although small, the house had everything you needed, including a good sized back patio and yard, which our dog loved. Screens on the the windows and back patio sliding door would allow you to enjoy the breezes without worrying about insects.
- Jessica (5/5): -
- Colin (9/5): - Great central location, secure accommodation and off street parking made for a great stay
- MAN KI (10/5): Enjoy and good memories - Well location and very clean Hair dryer is necessary
- Debbie (9/5): Great stay - Nice quiet location with great parking. The property was very clean had everything you could possibly need. Communication from the hosts was excellent making the checking in and out seamless. A window covering on the doors would be great. It was quite confronting with so many properties able to see into the main area. A hairdryer would also have been a nice touch.
- Angela (9/5): Good location, quite - Central location. Off street parking
- lachlan (6/5): An okay stay with good accessibility, but a few maintenance and comfort issues that could be improved - The property felt safe and secure, and access was very easy which made the stay straightforward. Overall, it was a comfortable space to stay in and worked well for what I needed. There were a few issues during the stay. I couldn’t locate the wheelie bin so clearer instructions would help. The back sliding door offers limited privacy from neighbouring units as no curtains were provided, which was a bit uncomfortable. Several doors didn’t open fully due to catching on the floor, the unit was of general poor workmanship. There were no fly screens on all but one window (the main bedroom window, which wasn’t usable due to the garage door setup) which resulted in no airflow without bugs. Given the price, I expected a slightly higher standard overall.

- Glynis (7/5): Quiet location - Host was quick to help regarding accessing the property, as I could not get door code to work. The location was fantastic, nice and quiet. Single beds were comfortable. Air cons worked well, except for blowing water (main bedroom and kitchen) but after turning off for an hour turned on and were ok. It was comfortable for a converted shed. No broom or dustpan and brush, no screens on doors or windows, except for window behind roller door. Having to take your rubbish to house in front. And had a random animal use yard as a toilet. Was hoping to help family with baked dinners to give the carer a break but no Oven or Microwave that doubles as air fryer as per Booking.com, just a regular microwave at floor height....
Script from Booking.com: While You're Here:
Feel free to explore Rockhampton City - there are some amazing local restaurants!
But if you’d rather stay in, the kitchen is stocked with essentials so you can cook comfortably, including an induction stove, oven, and a microwave that doubles as an air fryer.
- Kiarra (7/5): -
- bhorat (7/5): - Access via lane
Garden unkept
Longvstay- no extra bin bags provided
Shampoo and shower soap, toilet paper an out. Not re stocked during my long stay
- Michelle (8/5): - Quiet location and easy access The two small poorly behaved aggressive dogs running up and down the fence line barking when I would take my well trained boy out in the yard. He had to be kept inside most of the trip except toilet time for this reason.
- Wayne Mollis (1/5): Bad experience - Rooms were clean When you book you only see gate not the front of building till you arrive and it's only a double garage done up,you have no privacy as everyone can see in through sliding door,no flyscreen on any windows or screen door front and back as you can't open to let in fresh air, shower step needs anti slip on step as you slip on tiles getting out of shower, safety hazard in main bedroom as there is a window but you can't see out because of a garage door so if 🔥 broke out you have no escape from bedroom and they give you wifi connection but it doesn't work you have small wifi on fridge to connect and it only lasts a day then you have to contact bookings.com to notify owners to pay for more data for the price they charge to stay there it's not worth it and there's no rubbish bin you have to take rubbish down street and put in council bins I wouldn't recommend to anyone with all the reviews and complaints they don't seam to care as long as they get paid
- ross (8/5): - Easy to everything, quiet and ease of parking. No smoke alarm, no broom to sweep up floor, no screen doors or screened windows, TV was terrible with reception cutting in and out. People that clean the place brought a tv aireal for us, no council bins to put rubbish in and shower cubical was dangerous getting in and out of. Fan in kitchen area was a little noisy. No privacy with poelpe looking in. Finally how do you get away with no smoke alarm. Council will be advised.
- GLENN (7/5): A comfortable stay. - The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There were no garbage bins to put the rubbish in outside.

- Stephen (5/5): We could NOT recommend this property for anyone over a certain age or with mobility issues - Generally, a very clean property with excellent reverse cycle air-conditioning,
Convenient location for Flinders Street and other areas. 1) The property owner needs to ensure the property is listed on Google maps and registered with the local Uber and Taxis
2) The Shower area needs URGENT attention before a guest is seriously injured, the high step to access the shower and the general slippery nature of the shower base and the tiles is a VERY dangerous combination.
3) Handrails need to be fitted to help around the toilet.
4) A new HIGHER double bed and mattress combo needs to be installed preferably in the other bedroom.
5) New more comfortable seating be provided. At least 1 sofa or 2 comfortable high seating chairs.
6) The microwave needs to be made more accessible, rather than at ground level.
7) The cupboard over the kitchen sink needs to be raised by at least 6 inches.
8) Although generally very clean, the groups of artificial flowers were all extremely dusty and rubbish should be collected from previous guests and not left at the front door.
9) No curtains or blinds on the rear sliding doors
As a final comment we certainly could NOT recommend this property for anyone over a certain age or with any mobility concerns. While it is very clean and apparently well equipped, it is neither safe nor comfortable. Furthermore we think it is almost impossible to imagine a group of 4 being comfortable and staying in this property as it is now.

- Dee (4/5): We left a day earlier due to not feeling comfortable - Not a lot Privacy issues, cleaning issues, fire safety issues. Given incorrect information. Owner has not heard previous reviewers who had similar issues
- Lyndel (4/5): Disappointing - Location TV did not work properly, internet we were given wrong user name and password, got info from the dongle but did not always work, no towel racks, no shampoo or body wash, no smoke alarms which does not comply to regulations, a strong pest control smell when entering premises, Pillows were very flat
- Robyn (8/5): Very good -
- Rebecca (9/5): Lovely clean property within walking distance of everything we needed. - It was close to everything and it was clean and tidy. I shared it with a work colleague so it was set up perfectly for us to have our own space. I couldn’t find a broom to sweep up all my malting hair in the bathroom. :-)
- Corwin (9/5): Superb -
- Chavarn (10/5): Exceptional - it's a lovely little spot with an excellent yard for my furbabies. The Little touches of decor and the wonderful little treats that are in the room for you is heartwarming.
- Rhonda (5/5): Passable - Location Bed is uncomfortable and has poor quality. Bed slates moved or broke when sitting on bed. Reported incident and was not fixed.
- Stephanie (7/5): Our stay was short and cozy. - All the facilities that you don’t usually get at a regular hotel A broom would have been nice as we were tracking dirt and grass in. As somewhere that was advertised for pets I feel as though there were significant gaps between the gates out the back big enough for small dogs to get out.
- Peta (8/5): I would definitely stay again. Close to everything, clean and comfy and a great price. - I loved that there was supplies to have a coffee on arrival and snacks. Fully fenced yard for our fur babies. I loved everything. It would be nice to be able to sit out the front (small table and chairs) as it it too sunny out the back in the mornings.
- Nakayla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sherilyn (8/5): Very good - Comfortable, dog friendly, ground floor, fair price Shower not disability friendly
- Larnie (9/5): Great space, well-equipped, perfect location, and excellent value—would definitely stay again! - It was a comfortable and perfectly sized space for my coworker and me during our 3-week stay. Well-equipped for cooking and living, with a microwave, stove, pots, pans, and utensils (though no oven). The property is pet-friendly, so I was able to have my pets stay for a couple of nights. We brought along our screen and projector and had a great time screening movies on the back patio. Located in a great spot with easy access to shops, the CBD, and entertainment. The air conditioning kept the space cool despite the heat in Rockhampton, and the blackout curtains worked wonders in the rooms. The washing machine worked well, and the beds were very comfortable. The owner was responsive and great to communicate with, and the neighbors were friendly. A beautifully set-up space with excellent value for money – we'd love to stay here again! The only issue we had was that inside the property, there was a bit of a dead zone for mobile data, and the Wi-Fi connection wasn’t very strong. However, outside on the back patio, mobile data worked fine. Not a big issue but the home needs a broom, we used the mop to sweep.
- Olga (7/5): Good -
- Sheree (10/5): Perfect - Quite location, nice and clean and easy to walk to nearby shops Nothing
- Kim (8/5): Very good - Location, great space for my family and it was in walking distance to businesses, parks.and hospitals. Suggestion of adding the number 168 on the fence for identification of address.
- Baylei (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerrilee (7/5): Close to town and convenient for all of our needs. Property managers were very friendly and helpful. - It had everything we needed for our stay and our dogs had a yard to play in.
Clean and tidy and the fresh milk and treats were appreciated.
The air conditioner was divine. No privacy.
No curtain/blind on back door which was fully visible for all neighbouring properties.
Properties directly behind had full view inside.
Door to bathroom needs fixing as it did not shut properly.
- Abraham (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (8/5): Very good -
- Dani (8/5): Very good - Very neat little place convenient location 👌 Shower is a little dangerous water going everywhere needs towel rails free to air TV would be great
- Darrin (9/5): Superb - Very well managed if needed anything sorted it would be sorted especially at such late notice .. would definitely recommend
- Giovanni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Terence (4/5): Obvious this accommodation is owned and operated by someone who has no experience in the industry. - The Wifi did not work, the TV could not be turned on, beds had very uncomfortable pillows (had to stuff towels in them to get some element of comfort), the shower is dangerous (very slippery tiled floor) and had no "soap holder". There were no insect screens on windows or doors.
- Yasmin (8/5): Comfortable, outside area was great. Perfect when you have a small dog. - Full doona on main bed, hair dryer would of been nice
- Tracy (8/5): Easy and comfortable - Great location, hosts provided excellent information and made it easy to find the property and access it. When we had a problem with the electricity it was fixed quickly. Was great to have easy access to a washing machine.
- Brian (5/5): Average - The property was clean and well presented Door between the 2nd room and bathroom wouldn’t close properly, I ended up fixing for them, door handle to bathroom from kitchen area needed to be refitted fixed that, main bedroom bed broken centre spine was broken so the mattress was very saggy had to fix that with some timber and as per previous review wifi and tv not working as advertised but we were there for work so we didn’t need to watch that
- Tiharny (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tendai (9/5): Awesome 👌 - The facility is nice and cozy..
- Donna (4/5): Disappointing - Could be a nice place if it was finished properly, doors need to be fixed so they can close and TV and wifi need to be set up as advertised Door to bathroom would not close, no shower screen on shower which made the bathroom slippery. No curtain or privacy screen on large sliding door which looks directly into neighbouring house. No WIFI connected, advertised as having free wifi, TV antenna not connected therefore no channels
- Charlotte (9/5): Superb -
- Richard (5/5): Passable - The location, price, the outdoor space, some of the kitchen appliances and the thoughtful extras like day-to-day kitchen condiments and such. Many of the fixtures were not only cheap, they were not guest-ready - items of furniture, for example, had not been put together properly/securely - including the shower head, beds, clothes rails, and even some of the doors. The property was not satisfactorily clean - windows were filthy, dishes were not properly washed, we found a filthy ashtray under the main bed (as well as tobacco products in the bathroom cupboard) and the floors felt like they were covered in a residue. More accurate description of the lock box location would have really helped, too.
