- Stuart (1/5): Unclean & old uneven mattress - Quite difficult to find and they only gave the instructions at the last minute. Apartment was not so clean and the mattress needs changing as very lumpy.. also very cold at night time, needs more bedding supplied. Location is alright but can be a bit to walk to. Would not stay here again.

- Damian (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect apartment. Had everything needed. WiFi was good enough. On a quiet street but a close walk to bakeries fruit stalls and restaurants. Probably 20-30 minute to centre of Tirana. 5 minute walk to a bus stop which goes to the main bus terminal. Very easy to communicate with Mario. Responded in good time. Everything was smooth and went perfectly.

Communication with the host was simple, he was extremely friendly and sent all instructions via WhatsApp. The location was not a problem for us, as we were walking through the city. It is in a local settlement and is further away from the tourist areas. There is a small market and a few restaurants nearby. It is a little further to walk to the city bus stations. It is quite far from the East Terminal of Tirana.
- Simon (1/5): Bad - BEWARE!!! The hosts accused my girlfriend and I of breaking the shower cord which the water runs through in the bathroom. Completely absurd. It was an issue with his property and he tried to blame us. I texted him to tell him out of courtesy for the next guests, and he called and abused me with threats saying he hoped I broke my neck. I have been traveling around the world for 2 years and I have never encountered a host so unhinged and rude.

All that we loved in Albanian people - We really liked that the apartment was very big Ina quiet area, good localisation, good wifi, and good communication with the owner. Very clear instructions on how to reach the place with a short video on how to get there. The apartment had everything we needed, kitchen, Aircon, towels. Also we have to mention the honesty of the owner as we left too much money and the owner had returned them to us and also made sure that we had reached our flight. Because of that we had an opportunity to talk to him and he is a very funny, outgoing, friendly, hospitable person. We want to say a huge thank you for your help.❤️ If we ever come back to Tirana we would stay here again. Totally would recommend to a friend Nothing.
