Guest Reviews
- Rachel (9/5): - The views from the room are incredible and location perfect being in a lovely area and also walking distance to the city or there is a regular bus. Room was comfortable and ideal for couple days stay.
- Katie Ruth (10/5): An Authentic Alhambra Experience - The perfect and authentic way to experience Granada and Alhambra. We stayed on the second floor overlooking the street and Alhambra on the opposite hillside (King Room with Mountain View). The room was wonderfully eclectic - Spanish tiles, rugs on the floor and walls, a mix of textures, wooden balcony doors, very comfortable bed, plenty of light, incredible views: a warm, cozy and authentic feeling. A coffee machine, kettle, water, glasses, tea, coffee and bottle opener, plenty of storage space, small fridge, 2 seats, bedding, towels. The two balconies were not wide enough to put a chair on, but standing there brought enough pleasure...and being able to watch the sun shine off of the Alhambra palaces while lying in bed is unbeatable luxury IMHO. The bathroom was just outside the bedroom door, in a tiny corridor sectioned off from the stairway by a curtain for privacy. Big shower, plenty of hot water. Our wife-and-husband hosts were very welcoming and friendly. A minute up the beautiful old, whitewashed street are several Flamenco cave venues/bars/restaurants, but not close enough to cause noise issues (great paella and Flamenco shows- always book in advance!). A minibus (C34) connects you door-to-door to the city center, while minibuses C31 and C32 stop down the road. We arrived and left by taxi and it came right to the door, no problems. Lots of tourists stop in front of the house to enjoy the views across the gorge and take photos. It was early April and we slept with the window open to hear the birds singing and river flowing in the gorge below. If you're fit, it takes around 30 minutes to walk the fascinating maze of old streets down and then up the other side to Alhambra (steep, pebbly, many steps- not for those with sensitive legs/knees/feet!). Overall - the only place I would ever stay in Granada. Nothing.
- Constantina (8/5): - The location was amazing, waking up to the view of Alhambra was a treat. The room had a homey feel and was comfortable. The towels smelled a bit of mildew.
- Jorge (5/5): -
- Sonia (8/5): Muy cercano y con buenas vistas -
- Lizeth (10/5): -
Super atentos. Todo perfecto
- Wojciech (2/5): Very dirty... - Quite good city location. Unfortunately, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, and the place's bathroom was very dirty (we even found a cockroach), and the twoles were so musty and smelly that they were unusable Regrettably, the owner has not replied anything to my private message with those complaints. I think the place is waste of money.
9. El colchón estaba hundido al medio.
10. Tabla del inodoro rota.
- José Miguel (1/5): - Very unsafe and unpleasant experience. The sheets were dirty, the bathroom was not private, and the hosts were rude, aggressive, and threatened me physically. They demanded extra payment in person and refused to handle it through Booking.com. I do not recommend this property. Very unsafe and unpleasant experience. - Manuela (5/5): -
- TOLEDO PURGUAYA (7/5): - Trato amable
- Estela (8/5): -
O quarto estava limpo e asseado.
- De Matteis (7/5): - Struttura pulita e arredata in modo carina, vista sull'alhambra.
- Enes (5/5): Passable - Location was good The smell of the bathroom, and the view was not as it was mentioned in the post, even though the other room with a view was empty the 2de day.
- Ian (8/5): Very good - Fabulous location for the flamenco caves, the Alhambra and bars and restaurants. Be aware that it is up a hill and can be a hard walk to get to. Also parking a bit of an issue. Didn't see another person in the house which is fine but maybe there should be enough tea and coffee to last the length of the stay. However, it is fantastic value for money and comfortable
- Cara (9/5): Incredible Stay! - The view from the room was absolutely stunning. You wake up every day to a clear view of the Alhambra on the mountains. It's located in a beautiful neighborhood with many bars within a 5 minute walk. The hosts were very welcoming and check-in was easy. The bed was very comfortable and there were multiple balconies to invite fresh air into the room. The balconies were directly in front of a popular viewpoint so with the windows open, people could see right into the bedroom. A simple cover over the railing would solve this! As it is located in the beautiful sacromonte neighborhood on the mountainside, I wouldn't recommend this stay for people with accessibility issues as you must walk up a steep, uneven hill from the center. But it's absolutely worth it otherwise!
- Martin (9/5): Special place in sacromonte - Pretty room in lovely area, looking out at Alhambra.
- Rakefet (6/5): fair deal. very very poor service from the person responsible for the property - the place is ok. location is perfect and the house had a flare. the lady gave me details about how to get to the room 1.5 before arrival. this was also the point she shared there's parking possibilities. this was TOO late since I was driving and already booked a parking in a hotel 2 KM away. I lost time and money because of poor service. She was lying about the time she sent the information (claimed 3 hours ahead) and when I asked her why so late she was apologetic and said because of a possible cancellation. because of not getting any information on time, I have to pay 21 euros to park in a hotel and wasted precious time and therefore lost my booked ahead visit at Alhambra gardens. the lady did not apologize nor took any responsibility of the poor service
- Claire (10/5): Simply wonderful charming stay in Granada! - Absolutely loved our overnight stay here! The property is really authentic, full of charming decor and located in a great spot - Sacramonte. If you are lucky enough to book the King room, not only are three windows / balconies, but you are treated to the most amazing view of the Alhambra. My friend and I just could not believe what a wonderful find this was! Really cool little bars and flamenco shows on same road, walk into town about 10 mins. Just lovely. Wished we could have stayed longer. Oh and the Shnoodle loved his dog bed, with his very own headboard ;). Communication with owner was superb. Really could not fault in any way. Nothing to improve on.
- Karen (7/5): Good value for the price, fab location. - Great location stunning views over Alhambra. Basic accommodation at a cheap price
- Anon (7/5): Comfortable room with great views of the Alhambra - The room was clean and comfortable. It had tea and coffee making facilities. Air conditioning was also in the room. Lovely courtyard to sit in as well. The bathroom was downstairs but we didn't find any problems with that.
- Jeroen (7/5): Good value, but small room. - It’s a good location with views of the Alhambra. The property is clean and looks very good. Room is a bit small, as is the bed.
- Dragomir (7/5): Good -
- Janine (2/5): Very poor - The property was very close (walking distance) to “La Alhambra”, and some good restaurants. The views around were spectacular. The room has an air conditioner. Everyone has their own experiences. And I just didn’t like mine.
- Amanda (8/5): A Room With A View - The view was amazing. The curtain to the entrance of the room to get to the bathroom lacked intimacy.
- Dydak (10/5): I would come back! Lovely view, coffee machine in the room, there was even a bed for a dog. - We had a lively Alhambra view. The room had a Granada vibe. The smell was a bit odd when you enter the house. It smelled like humidity, I think it was coming from the bathroom downstairs. (We had a private bathroom upstairs so it wasn’t a problem)
- Mariya (9/5): Superb -
- Aleacia (9/5): Beautiful room with a balcony and incredible view of the Alhambra - Amazing location for views and to restaurants & shops, light coming in from 3 windows/doors, a balcony with small table and chairs, coffee and tea available to make, artistic decor, private bath It smelled musty upon entering, but opening the doors to the fresh air and bringing in the air freshener from the bathroom helped.
- Turner (10/5): Exceptional - This was my favourite room ever. There was an awesome view of the Alhambra. There was a bar full of locals just up the road which we thought was great. It was noisy on the road below but added to the party atmosphere feel of Granada. Nothing it was just fantastic. The bathroom was shared, and there was no milk for the tea, but this didn't bother us personally but may be a consideration for others. I recommend this for anyone who wants to experience Granada at its best.
- Hakin (9/5): Superb - What a fantastic location with views from the room of Alhambra and a vibrant area with good tabernas.
Lovely decor and a nespresso coffee machine . If there was a door the other side of the ensure bathroom instead of a curtain, I would have felt more relaxed. The bedroom has a secure door tho.
- Mariam (9/5): Mind-blowing view! -
- Junaed (8/5): Very good - The bnb had a nice patio to hang out, and the street had a few restaurants and bars with flamenco. The view of Al Hambra from the street was amazing. The roads leading to the place is extremely narrow. If you are not a confident driver, avoid driving there. Street parking can be found down the street, however it's not always available. You can only park on certain parts of the road that is wide enough. We found parking about 12 min walk from the place.
- Horizontal (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful views from my room Nothing, but if arriving by car, plan ahead about the arrival and parking afterwards.
- Twiselton (7/5): Good -
- Marco (1/5): Bad - Its location in Sacromonte The room had not been cleaned and was very uncomfortable. Although it was specified that the room had a private bathroom, the latter was on a different floor and it was cold, damp and had not been cleaned; the light switch for the bathroom was outside and the owner switched the light off while my partner was taking a shower.
- Anh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karolina (6/5): Pleasant - It was a great location, with a view to the Alhambra from the streets (not from the apartment). The inner garden is beautiful The private bathroom was outside of the room, and open to anyone in the property. The room is super tiny, almost no space from the bed till the walls.
There was not even a common kitchen
- Matt (8/5): Very good - Amazing location, brilliant, helpful, communicative staff. Allowed me to store my luggage after I left before catching my bus. Great having a view of the Alhambra from the actual room. A small thing, but the distance between the room and the bathroom (down a flight of stairs) wasn't ideal, but overall, very good value for money.
- Jeanne (9/5): I will return to Analia's place, quiet and clean. - Analia is a fantastic host! She has been very helpful during my stay, recommended me to the best place/ things to do in Granada! I am very happy with Analia's hospitality.
Analia's place in Sacromonte gave me the chance covering both Gypsy and Granada's old/ new town, I walked a lot while in Granada!
Oh yeah, Analia has some rooms facing to Alhambra Palace, unfortunately it was occupied during my stay. All good, love it!
- Gonçalo (5/5): Passable -
- Martin (10/5): Exceptional - Cozy room. Noise at night from the bus stop under the window.
- Nevena (7/5): Good - Location is very nice, but also very loud on Saturday night. Bed is comfortable. Bathroom is on another floor than the room and it is not noted anywhere on Booking. Also, strong, very bad smell from bathroom.
- Luz (9/5): Great place !, definitely would stay there again - It has the greatest view in Granada 😍, also everything was neat and clean, the host was great, very kind and gave us a lot of usefull tips and information The bathroom is outside the room, right next to the room’s door, it was not a problem but it would’ve been nice to have access from inside
- Jake (9/5): Superb - Location was perfect. Place was cozy and comfortable and it had a lovely garden/terrace for morning coffee
- Ahmed (8/5): Comfort with a spectacular view - The room was very clean and spacious for 2 people. Bed was very comfortable too. The best part was the incredible view of the Alhambra! The window doors allow you to bring in a cool breeze and there's a very small balcony with chairs to sit and admire the view. It's also quite close to restaurants, shops and the entry to Alhambra! It was perfect for our one night stay in Granada, thank you Anita. It can be a bit noisy as there are cars/buses that go past. Also people talking loudly outside at night but that's not a fault of the hotel. Bathroom was outside the room (immediately next door) which felt a bit awkward sometimes, but it's not a big issue for 1 night.
- Brendon (10/5): Tourist treat in Granada - Analia the English speaking caring hostess is determined that you enjoy your stay in her beautiful well adorned eclectic home which has as good a view of the Alhambra as all the touristy lookouts. Analia takes interest to help those tourists choosing her abode. She even made a special trip to buy my on going coach ticket! Nothing
- Berk (8/5): Very good - Great location if you are looking for a local neighborhood experience. place is very clean. Host are welcoming. Also it has a wonderful view of Alhambra.
- Efi (9/5): Superb - Great location, the best in the city.
Clean, comfortable.
Good customer service
- Nóra (9/5): Superb -
- João (9/5): Superb -
- Таnya (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (9/5): Superb -
- Tucker (10/5): Exceptional -
- Khalfo (10/5): Exceptional - The place is quite, amazing and clean, with a spectacular view of the Alhambra Palace, and close to the city center and public transportation. The staff were so helpful and supportive!
- Stefano (10/5): amazing - The Uruguayan Hosts!! -
- Ron (9/5): Homeish, cosy, but hard to find, even with Google maps - A homeish and cosy place, friendly owner Hard to find
- Annika (10/5): A good experience. - This is a lovely small hotell. The host and hostess are very friendly and helpful.
The view of the Alhambra from my room was spectacular.
- Md (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ken (7/5): Very Andalucian - Excellent location, easy for Alhambra and historic centre, good value. Erratic communication - for example, the host could have explained to us how to get in before we arrived. Barking dog downstairs might be disturbing for some guests. There are two rooms, one with the Alhambra views in the photos, the other , at the side of the building, not so much. We got the side room.
- Nancy (9/5): We will definitely return. Spectacular views, good price and a rustic, arty feel. - The view from our bedroom of the Alhambra was absolutely spectacular. We were enthralled with it - I doubt you will find a place at this price with a better Alhambra view. The large double bed was very comfortable and the size of the room was generous. The whole building has an arty feel with a lot of bohemian artwork, textiles etc. I liked it a lot. The location is excellent for walking into the old centre of town. There is no breakfast included but there was a large jug of fresh drinking water in the bedroom and the tap water is really heavenly - straight off the Sierra Nevada and tastes so good without chemicals! There is free parking right outside the accommodation if you are very lucky to grab one of the limited spaces. Parking is very difficult near the accommodation but we were incredibly lucky in December to get one space immediately outside the hotel. We left the car there free of charge for our whole stay. It was not made clear to us before the day of our arrival that no one would be greeting us in person, though we had pre-arranged to arrive at 15.00 to 16.00 - a normal time for a check in. However, a quick call on arrival to the owners assisted us. We were rather confused about how to get into the property and more so because there was no sign outside that stated either the name of the establishment or showed 'hotel' or 'hostal' or anything like that to indicate that this was a place to stay the night. On our arrival there were a few hairs on the floor of the bathroom and also inside the shower, I think they do not use a vacuum cleaner when cleaning the bathrooms - only a sweeping brush most probably, but overall it was all OK and we were very happy with our stay.
- Yasart (10/5): Exceptional - Close to Alhambra. Has nice authentic decoration. we had trouble finding the exact location since Booking directions didn't include building number. The owner sent the exact location bu we missed it since we were following the Booking directions. Except for this small issue everything was perfect.
- Marco (8/5): Very good - location perfect in Albajicin, close to public transportation, close to restaurants/shops
- Samer (8/5): Very good -
