• Sabine (4/5): Nettes Personal Hilfsbereit und fachlich gut aufgestellt! - Grundsätzlich gute Ausstattung mit allem, was man braucht. Sehr nette Dame an der Rezeption, die sehr flexibel und behilflich bei aller Tourplanung war! Daumen hoch für Tracy!!! Zentrale Lage, gesamte Altstatt perfekt zu erreichen. Direkt an der Haupt-Party-Meile gelegen- gut für Partypeople. Leider hat das Hotel zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts ein Schimmelproblem. Je näher man dem Erdgeschoss kam, umso stärker roch es. Die Dusche war mit Holzpanelen ausgelegt unter den viele Haare lagen. Leider sind Holzpanelen auch nicht wirklich hygienisch und ständig nass. Im Zimmer auf dem Boden leider auch viele Fremdhaare. Vorhänge, Lampen z.T.verschimmelt. Abends Lärm von der Party-Straße, tagsüber Lärm von der Baustelle hinter dem Haus.

• Gustavo (7/5): - Creo que la relación precio calidad es buena, en pleno corazón del barrio antiguo, esta al lado de la fiesta pero por suerte no escuchamos la musica desde el cuarto. El personal muy atento y el desayuno a la carta. Los cuartos no estaban muy limpios, y contaban con falta de ventilación, por mas que se podían abrir un poco las ventanas, el olor a humedad era constante. No lo recomiendo para personas alergicas, no cuenta con ascensor, y el desayuno no tiene mucha variedad y cuenta con horario muy limitado (7h30 hasta 9h30) pero esta bien, son bastante lentos en servirlo, por lo que si se tiene una excursion temprano, muy dificilmente te lo sirvan a tiempo. No obstante, el personal muy amable.

Frühstücksauswahl. Evtl. wichtig: enges Treppenhaus. Sehr zentral in einer Seitenstraße der Beerstreet. Dennoch absolut ruhig. Haben schon 3 weitere Nächte w/Rückflug gebucht.

I stayed over new year’s and outside was so loud but I couldn’t hear anything once the windows were closed.

Remarkably qui - Location was very close to Bar Street but so quiet at night (we were on 3rd floor). Good value basic property. Ventilation could have been a bit better but fine if windows opened.

Taxi, tour guide and checking the room. I recommend this hotel for short stay solo and family travelers. One of my pillow case was not changed when I arrived. It had a foul smell. But after that everything went well.

WORST EXPERIENCE - DRUNK RECEPTIONIST The receptionist was extremely drunk and asleep on the couch when I arrived, and he was unable to help. The hotel denied it through communication on Booking.com after two days, saying he was just tired (haha). There is no lift and no assistance available, since the receptionist was drunk. The next morning, I spoke to another receptionist who said she would contact the manager, but the manager never reached out to us. The room was dirty, especially the bathroom. Mold had been painted over. I paid for breakfast but did not eat after seeing the kitchen. I do not recommend this hotel!

Staff were so helpful, kind and carried our bags up the four flights of stairs to our room. Laundry service was also brilliant. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was that our room was quite damp, our bathroom fan extractor didn’t work so we can assume this was the reason

Muy incómodo, sin ascensor,las escaleras son muy pequeñas y lo pasé mal para subir la maleta. Habitación y baño muy pequeños, las ventanas no hacen su función, ya que miden 20 centimetros. Mal olor al entrar, ya que hacen vida ahí.

Wifi was slow and spotty. The building is old. The room needs maintenance and updating. Air conditioner was loud, bathroom door did not close properly, towels were worn and old, wood blinds need replacing as they did not shut out the light.

• Salomon (10/5): Great place to explore Hanoi and North Vietnam. - We used Elite Hotel as a base, returning several times after 2-day trips. The staff is exceptional and makes us feel at home. The hotel is located right in the middle of the Old Quarter and close to very crowded, noisy streets, yet the rooms are quiet. It is an excellent value. Some rooms are a bit in the smaller side, and there is no elevator. However, the staff is available to take the luggage up and down from the room. The place is starting to look a bit tired .

Очень старые номера. Постельное белье полностью протертое, старое. Ужасно было на нем спать. Номер вонял влажностью. Полотенца были просто убитые. Очень-очень старый отель и номер.
• Johannes de Haan (9/5): Een heel fijn verblijf - Het bed, de douche, het ontbijt zijn top en vriendelijke medewerkers. Verder elke dag schoonmaak en nieuwe handdoeken. Verder vind ik het altijd fijn dat er thee en koffie faciliteiten zijn en ook nog tandenborstels, kam, douchekapje en shampoo en douchegel. Persoonlijk houd ik minder van bijv. in ons geval 4 hoog met een trappenhuis zonder nooduitgang. Echter er zijn keurig 2 zuurstofmaskers op de kamer en op elke verdieoingsvloer een brandblusser. Heel dichtbij de drukte van het centrum, toch hoor je in de nacht niets (zolang je raam dicht houdt). Prima airco en grote fan. Ik zou evt volgende keer terugkeren! Goede locatie, het meeste op loopafstand, heel veel lekkere streetfood;] Hanoi is geweldig! Alleen dat de kamer hoger kan zijn zonder nooduitgang, maar wel hebben ze goede maatregelen getroffen.

• Valentina (9/5): Central but silent - The hotel is in a very central area (in one of the streets with lots of bars and restaurants), but from my room I could here no noise at all and I could sleep very well. For this reason, I decided to extend my stay of 1 night! The bed was comfortable and the bathroom very clean. I would definitely recommend it! There is no elevator in the building
• Maria (3/5): Barato pero mediocre - La ubicación es buena y el precio razonable. Estábamos en un 5 piso sin ascensor y nuestra habitación tenía goteras y no estaba muy limpia (olía a humedad). Además, nos pasó un par de veces que llegábamos sobre las 14:00, hora de mucho calor para estar por la calle, y la habitación todavía no estaba hecha! En alguna ocasión, nos fuimos a tomar un cafe largo, para dejar que la hicieran... Pero otra vez no, y cuando les pedimos agua por la noche (2 mini botellitas que dejaban diariamente) nos las cobraron por 20.000 VDN. Además, nuestra habitación supuestamente incluía desayuno, pero no lo vimos ni un solo día! Y eso que bajábamos a las 7:30. Por último, y aunque puede ser relativamente razonable... Les comentamis que íbamos a alquilar una moto, y que si estaría segura aparcada en la calle por la noche. Nos recomendaron un parking cercano. Hasta aquí todo bien... Pero cuando llegamos esa noche, vimos que la moto de uno de ellos estaba dentro del hotel! Así que bueno... No era necesario pero podrían habernos hecho el favor.

Please do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel at all costs. When there are so many options in Hanoi, we very much regret choosing this horrible excuse for an establishment. Please consider below points (with photo evidence) before choosing to stay at Elite Central Hotel Hanoi; - Black mould on ceiling and in bathroom - Hairs on floor and in bathroom - Spider in room - Rusted ceiling light and rusted bathroom mirror - Dirty bed sheets - Worn towels (used towel also left in my room) - Worn carpet - Water-damaged ceiling - Bad smell in rooms and stairwell

Location is great, close to everything you need down a side street too so still quiet enough for a good night sleep. 24/7 check in was great for us as we had a late check in after a bus. Room was very clean, had a big window letting in light which (is quite rare in Hanoi), comfy beds and good shower. Recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay :)

Staff are friendly and helpful. Very little sound insulation within the building. Shower very old, needs repair work to be able to be cleaned better.

• Rydström (2/5): Horrible stay at hotel nobody cares about - Staff did what they could and were pleasant enough. The hotel is horribly dated, poorly maintained, and basically broken everywhere. Nobody cares about this place. It's not the fault of the hotel staff or regular cleaning. This is an ownership problem. Our room smelled of mold, and the bed was hard as a rock which made sleep very difficult. Bathroom door is made of glass with no real seal, so it's basically like having somebody on the toilet next to your bed. Wallpaper is broken and worn, walls and ceilings needed paint 10 years ago, TV is old and crappy, etc. We could not have our breakfast because we didn't sleep enough to wake up for it. So, cannot rate that, but we can guess it follows the same pattern. And it's not even particularly cheap. What a huge ripoff. Stay away.

• Frances (8/5): We enjoyed our stay. In a very busy location but close to all the attractions - The location was excellent. Beds were very comfy and the staff very helpful. We had a choice of rooms both with a great many stairs to climb. The lowest choice was 75 stairs up but we chose the better room with 85 stairs to it. It was good but not for the faint hearted

• Eoin (3/5): Pleasant staff but dirty, smelly and overpriced - - Conveniently located - Friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially good to carry our bags up 4 flights of stairs on our arrival which we really appreciated! - Really powerful shower - Comfy bed - Fridge and water in the room was complementary - A strange smell lingered all around the property - in the rooms it was of must and mold and in the lobby it was something weirder - The finishes in the room were in really poor condition (curtains, towels, seats, walls) were all really grubby and in desperate need of replacing. Sizeable holes in towels are just not acceptable and the price point requires a much higher standard. - Bathroom was in really poor condition and toilet barely flushed - No elevator, 4 sets of pokey stairs really tricky in Hanoi heat - While shower was strong, the floor of the shower was wooden decking which was really odd - Plug socket hanging from the wall and plugs were in generally bad repair - Chief concern: MOLD, everywhere. Really, really concerning and just not healthy for guests. The smell also travelled to our clothes and possessions, really nasty. Staff are clearly making an effort here but the hotel just needs to be revamped as it is not fit to host guests in its current state of repair. Maybe at a much lower price point it might be semi-acceptable but by Hanoi standards it’s just dreadful value.
