• monique (3/5): Très loin du centre ville, maison 'neutre' et peu accueillante. C'est un business, pas un bnb - La maison se trouve dans un endroit calme. Elle est vaste et meublée de manière minimaliste. Les chambres étaient confortables et les lieux propres (à l'exception du frigo qui contenait de vieux restes de nourriture). La maison est située à 45 minutes en voiture du centre de Toronto, ce qui n'tait pas mentionné dans l'annonce Nous avons reçu des consignes précises par téléphone sur le code de la porte d'entrée et celui des chambres ainsi que sur l'emplacement de parking mais n'avons vu le propriétaire par hasard sur la rue Les consignes nous imposaient de ne manger ou boire que dans la cuisine alors qu'il y avait une grande salle à manger à côté. Comme la lumière de la cuisine était un peu violente, cela donnait au repas une allure un peu triste La cuisine ne contenait que de trop rares couverts et les ustensiles pour cuisiner étaient peu nombreux et assez sales Nous avons réservé 2 chambres (chacune avec un code d'entrée) et pensions qu'il n'y aurait pas d'autre locataire. Nous avons été surprises par l'arrivée d'une troisième personne

• Colleen (10/5): I felt at home here! Loved and cared for :) - For people who like to walk, this is the perfect location. If you need a quiet place to get work done or just to relax, this is it. There are many parks and creek way walks within walking distance and there is a small strip small close by with a large grocery store, a Shoppers Drug Mart, Subway, Tim Hortons, Pickle Barrel, PC gas station etc...I liked the furniture, especially the beds and the linen. Everything was clean white and new. I liked having access to a washing machine & dryer. But since people are more important than things, I can say that I liked the hosts most. They were kind, welcoming and genuinely good people. For example, when the WiFi was not working, they fixed it right away. They also made sure that my daughter and I were comfortable and happy. They even bought/brought things when we needed them, like a toaster and mugs. This loving home could be improved with shampoo and conditioner, dish soap, sponges, a carpet in the living room for the winter, a mat for the front entrance because it's noticeable that your feet get cold after taking your shoes off, packets of sugar, salt and pepper. Also, the floors are very creaky and noisy, so I had to walk very quietly...but there is nothing the host can do about creaking floorboards. It is just something for renters to be aware of.

The convenient location made everything easy, and the unit itself was spacious, well maintained, and had a clean, comfortable feel. The full kitchen and laundry facilities were a great bonus, adding to the sense of home. On top of that, the host was both professional and genuinely kind, making the experience even more welcoming. The surrounding area also added to the experience. Well-kept streets, maintained public spaces, and a general sense of care in the community made for a pleasant and comfortable stay. Essential services and amenities were easily accessible, and everything felt organized and well managed. It’s a destination that offers both convenience and a welcoming atmosphere, making it an easy choice for a return visit. Nothing.

• Oscar (6/5): - The house was both spacious and bright, and very clean. All the facilities were good. While we has some stressful disagreements with the host she did not seem like a bad person. The room advert was misleading, it advertised 2 beds and I even checked in advance there were two only for the host to ask us to pay 60CAD for the second bed. This left us having to argue with booking.com for hours after our arrival which made the whole experience much more stressful than it needed to be. There are other misleading parts too like it being advertised as a suite when it's really a room in a shared space. The "hot tub" is a bath. Heating was stuck to 23 even at night.

• Daniela (3/5): Loud room and unfair additional fees - The house was clean and the neighborhood was safe I traveled with my little dog (shih tzu) and I checked everything when I left, everything was fine without any damages. TheNext day, they were trying to charge me for “damages” that my dog supposedly did in the sofa. I don’t think they should say they’re pet friendly if they only want to charge you for random things with the excuse that you brought a dog. The sofa was “scratched” in the top/back part of it, an area that my dog can’t even reach! Landlords should be honest when trying to overcharge for stuff that was already damaged. I would’ve paid if my dog had caused any damage but as I said, my dog can’t even reach these areas, and slept with me at all time or in his little bed. I just feel they want me to pay for something we didn’t do. The roommates were super loud!

• Wa (1/5): The host said, "You are the most difficult guest I ever had." - My experience with the host was terrible. 1. I stayed here for a week. There was no cleaning. 2. Parking is an issue. There were only two parking spaces, but the host had multiple guests and tenants on the first floor and second floor. On the second floor alone, there were already three rooms. When a new guest arrived, there was no parking for them. The host asked me to park closer to the garage so they could double park, which I have been doing everyday. However, when I saw the host the next day, the host asked if I could “negotiate” with the other guest regarding parking. I told the host that I had been parking inside as requested by her. I further let her know that I cannot "negotiate"/talk with the other guest regarding the parking situation as I am not the host. I did my best to be a kind and respectful guest and never once complained about anything. I kept my dog inside with me at all times. I kept the place clean. I was more than accommodating for the shared space. However, the host placed the blame on me when she did not ensure that there were sufficient parking spaces for everyone. And worst of all, when I refused her request to "negotiate"/coordinate parking spaces, she called me "a difficult guest." Why should guests be left with the responsibility of "negotiating" parking spaces? We are all strangers to each other. On my last night of stay, another guest arrived. This time, the host simply messaged me to “discuss” with the new guest regarding the parking situation. Again, the host was not present, did not take initiative in making parking arrangements, and simply left it for us to "discuss" and figure it out. Luckily, the new guest was very friendly too, so all three of us found a solution. However, it is unacceptable for a host to ask guests to figure it out and constantly ask us to be "understanding" and "cooperating.

• Maura (7/5): This is for people who don't mind sharing with others - It was roomy and spacious. But it was old fashioned and the flooring was squeaky. It was clean and reasonably well equipped. There are no shops nearby, nowhere to have a coffee or a meal. I thought I was booking two separate suites, each with a bedroom, living room and a bathroom. I booked this twice, as I was going with a friend and we wanted our own bathroom. The system allowed me to do this, it should not have, as this is a three bedroom apartment, with only one bathroom. The rooms are numbered and each had separate keys. So you could end up booking a room in the apartment, only to find you are sharing with strangers.

До найближчих магазинів необхідно пройтись хвилин 15-20 щонайменше. Можна за 10 хв. дійти до автобусної зупинки та дістатися до потрібного місця, хоча з/в аеропорт краще їхати на таксі. Гучне опалення - періодично (може кожні 20-30 хв.) включається котел, який заганяє тепле повітря у кімнату, але гудить він при цьому як недалеко проїжджаючий потяг. Якось я упустив (хоча в описі я цього не бачу), що приміщення здається покімнатно та ванна кімната є загальною, але це логічно, враховуючи ціну. Підлога дерев'яна і подейкуди дуже скрипить. Мало посуду для приготування їжі.

• Guest (6/5): The place is clean but with the attitude I received from the host does not make this place a good place for me to stay - It was clean and okay. The floor is creaky. Parking is a problem when there are other guests with big trucks because they would occupy your parking space and you will end up parking 1km away and it is just inconvenient. Also, I was even accused by the host of tampering with their thermostat which I did not even touch. They just immediately assumed and accused me. Eventhough they had other guests the previous night. It would have been better to ask the question before accussing someone and made them feel bad with their stay. Not coming back to this place again.

• Carys (10/5): - After travelling 22 hours it was a sight for sore eyes for me and my cat! Lovely host and a lovely apartment that I would happily use again. The bed just needed the supports readjusted under the bed as a few of them were slanted but otherwise no complaints!
• Shaojie (10/5): Will recommend for traveler care about cleanliness of the place. - The host lady was exceptionally friendly and helpful, You could ask any questions or concerns and she would help you out with no problem. Bonus, She lived close by, and she would answer your emergency if there is any. The bed is comfy and the sheets are super clean. My skin is very sensitive and I had no problem after 2 night stay. You can use the shared living room, they have fast WIFI, and I had no problem doing my work remotely and playing video games. (latency around 40ms) I have my car parked in front of the property. They even provided slippers and towels! Not that I can think of really.
