• Jean (7/5): rural house on unsealed road. good for group but steep steps check location carefully - clean and comfortable. spacious for large group. couple of kangeroos come around sometimes. only 1 towel per person. no spares. 5 days no dryer and cool not good Appliances look good but very hard to use. took 2 days to work out instructions for cook top. never got oven Goin even with manual guests need to know there are steep steps to access. really steep. not beachfront houses in front. maybe 4 mins to beach if you had a map of paths we didn't and kept ending up in neighbors. view good but water glimpses. deceptive description over all.
• Rod (9/5): Very peaceful; we will return. - A lovely house, roomy, comfortable and clean. Everything you could want is provided. They even provide matches/firelighters/wood for the heater - despite cold days the house was sufficiently snug so that we didn't use this. A god clue would be to stock up with milk, bread etc at the excellent IGA at Penneshaw when you first get off the ferry. Only one bath towel per adult.
• Vikram (10/5): Beautiful, comfortable place to stay, with water views and kangaroos frequently up close. - The house was spacious, comfortable and very well appointed. The main living/dining/kitchen area was lovely and airy with lots of light and water views, and we loved watching the kangaroos grazing in the property every night. Only a very minor thing - the property was described as beachfront, but though you could certainly see the water from the house, it was actually set a little way back from the beach, behind another row of houses and access to the beach through the brush was a little less simple than we'd expected.

• Michelle (9/5): A fantastic getaway luxury house where my whole family could get together to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday , we h - A Beautiful new luxury property that is light and bright, and well equipped with comforts from home. A great sized house to accomodate a large family group, with plenty of seating areas with enough room for everyone to gather together..It is just a short stroll to the beach, in a quiet area. The property is close to the bigger towns however is a big drive to the other attractions on Kangaroo Island such as the National Park, something to be aware of if you plan to visit them a few times during your stay.
