Guest Reviews
- Paula (10/5): Cosy atmosphere with great view to Giza pyramids - The staff is most friendly and helpful and ready to fulfill your wishes. The location is really close to the new Grand Egyptian Museum GEM. Amazing view to the pyramids which are often decorated with lights at night. Nice support for safe transportation from/to the airport as well as daily trips according to our liking. This guesthouse is since 2021 our home at Giza plateau! If traffic annoys your sleep, then maybe not the most ideal place to sleep (but you get used to it).

Grazie Susu, grazie Eissa. L’Egitto per noi avrà sempre anche i vostri volti. Tornare in Italia

- Paula (10/5): Highly recommended with years of proven high quality service! We’ll visit them each time - Everything is well organized and clean. The staff is most reliable and helpful to make your stay memorable! Just arrive and let them organize according to your wishes. Direct view to the Pyramids is also amazing from the cosy rooftop area. Traffic in Giza is what it is but if you can sleep, it’s no problem.
- Luana (10/5): Amazing - Everything was amazing

- christophe (10/5): Great stay in Atlantis Pyramids Hotel Inn - Super accueil. Vue magnifique du balcon sur les pyramides. Personnels et patrons de l’hôtel super sympas et disponibles. Je recommande vivement
- Sarah (8/5): Great Views - We could see the pyramids from our bedroom window. The staff were lovely and the included breakfast was great. They also offered hibiscus tea when we returned back and stored our bags all day. The Taxi and excursion prices the accommodation offered were a rip off. We arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport when we arrived and also to drop us to the train station for onward travel and the price charge was more than 4 times that of an uber. The price for a pyramid excursion was 60 USD each which considering the journey to the entrance of the pyramids was less than 5 minutes, this was a ridiculous price even if it did include a tour guide. You can get cheaper online.
- Sebastián (8/5): Very good -
- Nyitrai (10/5): Exceptional - very friendly staff and clean, comfortable room
- Sergio (10/5): Good place to stay close to the pyramids, good views, clean and very good atmosphere eith the owners. - The whole stay was so nice and the owners very kind. They also provided us a private driver. Nothing. Everything was according to the expectations.
- Jerome (9/5): Great humanity - The owner and staff is very nice, friendly and interesting. We had very good time, good people thank again and all the best 🙏🏼
- Rosen (10/5): Amazing staff, great value for money. - Staff were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. We were very impressed by the warm welcoming on the panoramic terrasse. We were offered tea and we were welcomed to order something to eat(it was already around 23h). The manager also assisted us with exchanging money on a safe change.
Many thanks for everything, you were amazing! -
- Gunja (9/5): Superb -
- Katja (10/5): Exceptional - Our original hotel cancelled our reservation, so we were looking for something last minute and didn't have high expectations, but it was amazing. We arrived late, but the staff members greeted us with a big smile and offered welcome tea with a view of the pyramids! The room is excellent, especially for the price, big bathroom, clean. Big breakfast is included.
Special thanks to the manager and the manager in training (sorry I forgot the name). /
- Viktoriia (10/5): THE BEST STAY EVER - Everything!
The view from our room with balcony was amazing, also the terrace where we had all our meals had the same spectacular view!
The food was really good and tasty, always fresh - local Egyptian. I am vegetarian and they were so kind to offer more options that were not on the menu.
The location was lovely - in a part with mostly locals, very quiet, far from the city chaos.2 min by walk the closest shop.
The hosts and staff made us feel there like at home and even as a part of family - such a unique atmosphere! We would come back just because of them!
They were very kind, helpful, informed us about things we need to know to move around, always helped with taxis, cars, tours.
- Trevor (10/5): Exceptional -
- Al (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kim2405 (9/5): Great pyramid views - The host is very responsive and arranged the pyramid view from the room that we requested. She was very welcoming and warm. The breakfast was lovely and they made sure we had everything we needed. Great value for price and very cosy atmosphere. The big street outside is a bit loud and to get to the pyramids you need to cross this, but ordering uber was easy and cheap.
- Pamela (10/5): Great place to base from in Cairo - The location will be perfect soon It is walking distance to theGEM grand egyptian museum and the new entrance gate to the pyramids There is a fruit store and mini just a couple of blocks. Wifi is fast place is clean staff is helpful and knowledgable about the archeology. They also lead very special magic tours into the white desert The freeway but i am a county person
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good -
- Matteo (9/5): Great place to stay to visit the pyramids! And great staff! Susu and Esso have been very friendly and very helpful in ou - The terrace and the friendly staff! Little noisy due to rhe vicinity of the highway
- İlhan (10/5): Awesome experience - Breakfast was well enough, high quality ingredients and authentic local dishes, All satisfied me. It's not just quality of accommodation services but also I found chance to talk about history, culture and art with owners Eissa and Suso. They're so friendly and also people with wide knowledge about Egypt and world. In the morning I wish I could see hotel owners more. Unfortunately in mornings they're leaving for their other tasks and things to do. But generally you also leaving hotel in the morning to travel so everyday when you return to hotel at evening or night, you'll find them in hotel welcoming you again.
- Dania (9/5): Superb -
- Hubert (7/5): Nice hotel with pyramids view - Good value for a price with nice view of pyramids. Pyramids are on the other side of the expressway so you rather won’t be able to reach it by foot
- Ayush (8/5): Good - Good hotel with lovely staff. Room have a great view of the Pyramids. Manager charged us 5% extra for the card payment, which wasn't charged anywhere else in the Egypt. As we also paid for the tour booked through them using the card, 5% extra was too much.
- Elena (10/5): Authentic Egyptian experience with amazing hosts - Our stay exceeded all the expectations we had not only towards the hotel itself, but also towards the vacation in Egypt - the hosts make the stay at Atlantis a great authentic experience! Very friendly and helpful with lots of useful recommendations. We will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone traveling to Cairo to explore the history and culture of the country.
- Samuele (2/5): A manager without any from of respect. - From the room, you can have a terrific view of the Pyramids. Once I returned to the hotel, the guardian stopped me from entering the building, saying he had to wake the manager to check on me. When the manager arrived, he gave me his permission to go to my room and prevented my friend from using the bathroom before getting back in the car for a 1-hour drive.
I am paying, and as long as I respect the people and the place where I am staying, I don't see why I should wait for someone's approval to enter my room or let a friend use the bathroom. I don't accept any justification for such a disrespectful way of behaving.
- Febo85 (10/5): Exceptional - Esa and his wife are always the best amphytrions, they are really alive and full of energy to share... recommended!
- Jason (8/5): Very good - Outstanding hospitality. Great view. Delicious breakfast. Room very small and basic, adequate for price.
- Gergely (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly staff, great view to the Pyramids. The manager and all the staff was extremely nice. They attended all our wishes and helped us with any issues we had. Great value for the money! The area needs a bit of time to get used to it, but once you get your self familiar with the area it is fine.
- James (10/5): Superb Hotel with brilliant staff and great location. - Clean, well laid out. Fantastic selection of food, friendly staff, and a fabulous location.
- Tania (10/5): Wonderful - Besides the view which is spectacular the owners are wonderful people who they make you feel as if you are truly home. I’m traveling alone I felt extremely safe. This isn’t necessarily a complaint the bathroom is small however this is not a design flaw on there part I’m a bigger person.
- Janez (10/5): Nice - The location in an area of the city which is not so full of tourists and therefore the prices in the surrounding restaurants are also more local for tourists. Very friendly host. A priceless view of the pyramids and an excellent local-style breakfast already included in the price. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip.
- Giacomo (9/5): Superb - Like another time, I especially liked the hospitality of all and in particular of Eissa and Suso.
- Zsolt (10/5): Exceptional place to stay a stone’s throw distance from the pyramids - Perfect location as you can see from the photos. The hosts made my every single day special. Can’t imagine better place to chill. The private driver’s driving skills are better than good and he was making sure all time that I don’t feel lost and gave good advices how to deal with people. This service is slightly expensive if you are on low budget but I felt that it was worth is.
The hosts were like your personal djinnes granted all my wishes in no time.
Highly recommended
- Aloke (6/5): Pleasant -
- Maria (10/5): If i go Egypt again, I'll choice Atlantis pyramid inn - They are amazing persons.. All staffs are very helpful... Very welcoming.. I'm rating 5star😁😁😁
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good - The owners are very helpful and welcoming.
- Mrface19 (10/5): Authentic, amazing staff and stunning views! - I chose Atlantis Pyramids Inn for the view of the Pyramids and based on reviews... and I'm so glad I did. All of the staff, from Susu, Essra and Esu to Muhamed, Ahmed, Wael and the rest of the team (forgive my spelling!), were just awesome. Made me feel so welcome during my first time in Egypt and were super helpful in arranging tours, drivers and with their expert advice. Most of all, the atmosphere when simply chilling out with conversation and tea... I'll miss it a lot and hope to return one day. If you want an authentic experience in Cairo, stay here! N/A
- Miklós (9/5): An island of peace in a city that never sleeps - The view from the hotel terrace is fantastic, the breakfast could also be eaten on the terrace.
The owner and the hotel staff are very kind and extremely helpful. I have traveled halfway around the world, but perhaps nowhere have I met such kind and helpful owners and employees as in this hotel. They helped arrange trips to the Pyramids of Saqqara and Dafur and gave useful advice to avoid problems.
The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful.
There was a wardrobe in the room, so I could easily pack my things. The bed was comfortable for me. There was a two-hour blackout almost every night. Fortunately, They had battery-torch, so the situation was manageable. As the owner said, it's an everyday thing in that part of town.
There were small bugs in the bathroom and sometimes in the room as well. They climbed out of the cracks between the tiles. They didn't look dangerous, but maybe someone would be afraid of them.
It was a little more expensive than my accommodation in Cairo Garden City district, the airport taxi organized by the owner was more expensive than the same trip from the hotel in downtown Cairo, even though that hotel was at a greater distance. Of course, these prices are still much cheaper than in a western city.
- Evana (10/5): So well looked after! - What a gem of a place! We stayed at Susu and Isa's newer location of the Atlantis Pyramids Inn that is right new the soon to be new entrance to the pyramids. It was only about 1 month old and was in great condition at the top of an apartment building with stunning views from the terrace where you hang out and have your breakfast. It was away from the chaos of the area where a lot of the Giza hotels are centered and we were SO thankful for that. Susu and Isa could not do ENOUGH to help us (taxis, guides, restaurants, etc( - and they were such interesting people to talk to as well. They breakfast was very lovely and filling. The bedrooms at the front of the property have views of the pyramids, but they look over the main road so if you are a light sleeper request a room in the back of the property. This is exactly they type of place I love to stay at when I travel - it has a very local feel and and outstanding hosts.
- Tashmina (9/5): Beautiful boutique stay with glorious views from the terrace. - The hotel is a beautiful new boutique hotel, on the quieter side of the pyramids.
The view from the terrace and some of the rooms of the pyramids is beautiful.
The rooms are clean, tidy and well kept.
The terrace is a lovely space for relaxing, eating breakfast and enjoying the company of fellow travellers.
The hotel is located at the end of a quiet street, off a main road which has some food places, for dinner and snacks.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and incredibly kind. The bathrooms are a little narrow and the shower water gets sprayed everywhere.
The google maps location is very difficult for ubers and other drivers to find - this needs to be fixed, maybe instructions on how to get there included when the booking is confirmed. We had 3 uber drivers, and 2 tour guides unable to locate the hotel, leading to long delays.
- Tanvir (10/5): Great Hotel - very hospitable, friendly, and welcoming staff. Had a wonderful time
- Anastasiia (10/5): Exceptional - amazing hospitality and service. cleanliness of the rooms and more. attention from the staff and warmth. thank you for these amazing three days of relaxation. I recommend!
- Paula (10/5): Atlantis Pyramids Inn offers peace of mind and healing to the soul - They have managed to keep the same amazing and warm atmosphere than in the old place. Great view towards the pyramids, new clean facilities and same great and fair service. Will keep coming back on upcoming trips as well!
- Giacomo (8/5): Very good - Very nice hospitality of the staff and Soso and Eissa and also nice view of the Pyramids of Giza Plain from the top of the building. Just some noises during early morning
- Maria (10/5): Amazing experience - If you are looking for a real travel experience, you are in the right place.
The view on the Pyramids is amazing and you can even see it from your room, that was clean and tidy. Btw, the best thing you'll find will be Susu and Eissa, the owners of this beautiful guest house. As a solo traveller, I was suddenly welcomed and I felt home. They helped me with everything, from taxi connection to guided tours to the Giza complex and many useful advice on what to do and see in Egypt. We had many interesting conversations and we shared lots of love and positive emotions and feelings. I deeply recommend this marvellous place. Hope to be back soon. I feel happy to have met them.❤️
- Elisa (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, staff very helpful and freindly clean room and bathroom and breakfast was good
- Shaun (10/5): Welcome Home - 2 words resonated for me during my stay here at Atlantis Pyramids Inn. Those words that were spoken to me on arrival were "Welcome Home." The hosts Eissa and Soso were nothing short of excellent and continued during my stay to make me feel welcome beyond what any other accommodation in the past has done. A close knit family is how I would describe this accommodation where you just become family. Welcome home future guests you are going to love this place
- Jacqueline (5/5): Hotel staff lovely friendly. - View the pyramids Taxi driver took out our money cash twice for tourists and took my selfie stick be aware this taxi driver reported the hotel that we didn’t paid him and they additional up extra high amount we were not expecting that! :(
- Tomasz (10/5): Exceptional - I can recommend this place for every person who will appreciate calm, warm and friendly environment for a stay in Cairo.
The owners were doing their best to make us feel at home, and made a place to rest after intensive day of sightseeing. Their helpful approach helped us resolve problems which occurred during our stay.
The view from terrace was uproarious. Thank you!
- Deborah (10/5): Excellent ! - The location, the sunrise with the pyramids, good breakfast (love the falafels), the terrace and we really love the staff. All of them are adorable and welcoming. We recommend this hotel at 100%. Nothing
- Tammy (10/5): Most amazing place to stay in the Giza area - Atlantis Pyramid Inn is a wonderful place to stay. I have stayed at other places around Egypt but the Inn is the best. A wonderful bonus is that the Inn has an elevator, since I recently had a full hip and knee replacement having an elevator was an amazing bonus. I was still able to take in the view of the Pyramid’s from the roof top patio.
I loved how spacious the room and bathroom are compared to other locations in the area. The large roof top to sit around and visit is more than I expected. The staff is so warm and welcoming that you never want leave. I can not wait to return. I loved everything
- Ken (10/5): Atlantis Nation is another home for me now I appreciate the host for a great experience! - Welcomed with great energy full of love! Love the food and views of the pyramids every morning and evening! The host are very knowledgeable about Egypt they take time to share with you what they know.
- Jamil (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay I would love to explore again and would love to visit Giza great history a. - All the staff was helpful polite and caring they helped me in all the information I needed for my visiting places I really appreciate it. Everything was great no complaints.
- Sobia (10/5): Exceptional - It was a great experience as I love going Egypt and I know the place very well. I had my ups and down in past staying in Egypt but Atlantis Pyramid Inn was a great experience.
Susu and essa are great host that you can never forget also staff is amazing, helpful and trustworthy.
My room was very comfortable the bed and bed sheet were spot less and mattress was ever so comfortable. The view from my room for Pyramids was amazing.
In bathroom I had the facility of hot and cold water. Water pressure was great bathroom had all the accessories such as shower gel , shampoo, toilet tissues and towels. Internet connect was great the area had everything on very convinience. Authentic variety of restaurants were in the area many corner shops on walking distance and my favourite fresh fruit shops. All shops open till late and were walking distance aswell
Susu and Eesa arranged tours on very reasonable price considering all the comfort of the guests wich is amazing also arrange pick up and drop off to the airport on a very reasonable price again
It was a short stay but I had a great experience I will definitely come back can't wait to see Eesa and Susu soon xxx. I honestly had great time everything was dot on can't complain about anything
- Omar (10/5): It was great i would come stay here whenever i visit - The staff were very friendly and extremely nice to make you feel welcome and the rooms are incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy oasis after a day of exploring. The location is unbeatable, with breathtaking views of the pyramids right outside your window. Plus, you'll find a plethora of services and amenities in the surrounding area, including authentic Egyptian restaurants, vibrant markets, and convenient transportation options. Pyramids Empire Inn truly offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and cultural immersion. Highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable experience in the heart of Egypt. And also i’m very thankful to Suso and Eissa the owners for there amazing welcoming i’m very happy to meet them Nothing it was good
