- Amira (10/5): Just do it! - It is very clean. The location is near many historical sights. The staff is always prepared to help you! My friend needed to see a doctor and they called one right away. Sherine, Mina and Attia thank you so much for this experience! I’ll never forget about you guys and I’ll be coming here again surely. In short , I 100% recommend this place. The interior is nice and it’s very clean!

Appartement au 16 ème étage avec une vue magnifique sur Alexandrie. L'accueil pas chaleureux voir assez glacial pour l'Egypte et des incompréhensions avec la réception de l'hôtel.

- Luis (3/5): Hotel en Alejandría con un nombre que no merece - Baño antiguo pero con ducha bien cuidado dentro de la habitación . Tuve calentador de agua y café instantaneo dentro de la habitación Del hotel: no había internet en las habitaciones.Había que ir con todos los otros huéspedes a la pequeña sala de recepción. Incluso allí fallaba por momentos Desayuno era desde las 9 am hasta las 11 am lo que quitaba horas para salir a las actividades turísticas. Tuve que renunciar a él. Del personal: solo dos personas hablaban inglés. La persona mayor que cuidada el hotel al amanecer no tenía mayor conocimiento del inglés y con dificultades visuales aunque si tenía mucho deseo de solucionar los problemas. El entorno externo era deprimente . Ya de por si la ciudad de Alejandría está muy deteriorada, pero esta parte cercana al hotel, era pésima. Existe un colegio al frente de las habitaciones a pocos metros del hotel y el bullicio de los niños que son dejados por sus padres muy temprano antes de las 8 am , es interminable y siguen después las ceremonias ruidosas en el patio, incluso después de las 8 am. El hotel consiste en una posada y está en un segundo piso y no muestra en su interior la estructura arquitecónica que se consigna en la propaganda. Considero que el término The Great Alexander hotel es "misleading"

Sehr schlichte und zusammengewürfelte Einrichtung. Kein Stuhl, kein Tisch. Wild möbliertes Frühstückszimmer. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat zumindest bei unserem Zimmer nicht gestimmt. Das entzückende Außenbereichsfoto mit Garten und Arkaden, mit dem das Hotel wirbt, hat mit der Unterkunft nichts zu tun.

- Jonas (9/5): Spacious apartment with good breakfast - Instead of a double room I got a whole apartment in a house nearby, with two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen. This was much more than needed and well equipped. Breakfast was good, staff was friendly, location close to the centre, but in a quieter corner. There was some noise of construction works during the day, but I think there is always some noise in Egypt.

- Katherine (7/5): - The location was great, within walking distance of many of Alexandria's sights, including the citadel. We had two rooms which were both quite pleasant. The breakfast was nice. The main photo on Booking.com is misleading - it makes the hotel look a lot grander than it actually is and I don't know where it was taken (we saw nothing that looks anything like it). While the hotel was fine for the price, we were a bit disappointed when we arrived given the photo. Our family of 4 had two rooms which weren't together. When we arrived, we were offered to move to a family room, but it wasn't a very nice room and the shower was tiny with no curtain or door (the two rooms we stuck with were quite nice with proper showers, but it seems the quality of room varies quite a bit).

- Emanuele (6/5): Bed Bugs on 13th floor Room 1 - The room was spacious, comfortable enough and with a very nice view of Alexandria. Unfortunately we had bed bugs. The first night we thought we got bitten by mosquitos but by our last night we discovered the bites were from beg bugs.
